1In vivo flow cytometry reveals a circadian rhythm of circulating tumor cells显示文摘Circulating tumor cells(CTCs)is an established biomarker of cancer metastasis.The circulation dynamics of CTCs are important for understanding the mechanisms underlying tumor cell dissemination.Although studies have revealed that the circadian rhythm may disrupt the growth of tumors,it is generally unclear whether the circadian rhythm controls the release of CTCs.In clinical examinations,the current in vitro methods for detecting CTCs in blood samples are based on a fundamental assumption that CTC counts in the peripheral blood do not change significantly over time,which is being challenged by recent studies.Since it is not practical to draw blood from patients repeatedly,a feasible strategy to investigate the circadian rhythm of CTCs is to monitor them by in vivo detection methods.Fluoresce nee in vivo flow cytometry(IVFC)is a powerful optical technique that is able to detect fluoresce nt circulating cells directly in living animals in a noninvasive manner over a long period of time.In this study,we applied fluorescence IVFC to monitor CTCs noninvasively in an orthotopic mouse model of human prostate cancer.We observed that CTCs exhibited stochastic bursts over cancer progression.The probability of the bursting activity was higher at early stages than at late stages.We longitudinally monitored CTCs over a 24-h period,and our results revealed striking daily oscillations in CTC counts that peaked at the onset of the night(active phase for rodents),suggesting that the release of CTCs might be regulated by the circadian rhythm.Xi Zhu Yuanzhen Suo Yuting Fu Fuli Zhang Nan Ding Kai Pang Chengying Xie Xiaofu Weng Meilu Tian Hao He Xunbin Wei 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,6:6
2Three Discharge Modes of Dielectric Barrier Discharge in a Two-phase Mixture显示文摘两相体介质阻挡放电(dielectric barrier discharge in atwo-phase mixture,TPM-DBD)是在大气压下产生低温等离子体的重要方法,因具有很高的能量密度而被广泛应用在污染治理中。为研究介质颗粒的填充方式对TPM-DBD的影响,以γ-Al2O3作为填充介质颗粒,将数码相机与体视显微镜连体拍摄放电显微照片。结果发现,随着电压变化,TPM-DBD由3种依次串联发生的放电构成。电压较低时,首先在颗粒与极板间发生剩余间隙放电;随着电压增加,颗粒沿面放电串联发生;电压继续增加,孔隙放电串联发生。当颗粒间距较大时,在颗粒的远域出现典型的丝状放电,而近域内出现可能为汤森放电的放电"暗区"。外电场的数值计算结果初步说明了上述现象,电场畸变是其主要原因。研究结果为调节TPM-DBD的放电形式,进而高效率应用提供了较好的支持。CHEN Tian YE Qizheng TAN Dan YANG Fuli 2012中国电机工程学报2012,32,22:3
3Reply to Comment on “In vivo flow cytometry reveals a circadian rhythm of circulating tumor cells”显示文摘Dear Editor,We thank Niedre et al.for their correspondence regarding our recent paper1.They proposed a point that the temporal distribution of circulating tumor cells(CTCs)monitored by diffuse in vivo flow cytometry in a multiple myeloma mouse model in their previous work2 might be different from our results.Niedre et al.claimed that CTC detection statistics deviated from Poisson but did not found circadian variations in CTC numbers in a multiple myeloma mouse model.They also cite another literature by Juratli.et al.3,in which the authors reported that CTC numbers did not always correlate with tumor size during cancer progression.However,by establishing an orthotopic mouse model of prostate cancer and utilizing the technology in vivo flow cytometry(IVFC),we found CTCs exhibited bursting activity and daily oscillation in an orthotopic model of prostate cancer.Xi Zhu Yuanzhen Suo Yuting Fu Fuli Zhang Nan Ding Kai Pang Chengying Xie Xiaofu Weng Meilu Tian Hao He Xunbin Wei 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,10:2

7Ce(Ⅲ)-modulation over non-enzymatic Pt/CeO_(2)/GO biosensor with outstanding sensitivity and stability for lactic acid detection显示文摘A series of non-enzymatic graphene functionalized biosensors was developed via deposition precipitation method for lactic acid(LA) detection,which we re characterized by transmission electron micro scopy(TEM),Raman spectroscopy,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),gas chromatography-mass spectrometry,liquid chromatography-mass spectro metry,and proton nuclear magnetic re sonance(~1H NMR).The electrochemical performances of the non-enzymatic biosensors were measured by means of the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) and cyclic voltammetry(CV) method.The comprehensive analysis of structures shows that Pt,CeO_(2),and GO components interact with each other.During the storing and releasing oxygen,the valence ratio of Ce^(3+)/Ce^(4+) and the number of oxygen vacancies in CeO_(2) change accordingly,which can be conducive to increasing electronic transmission capacity and finally leads to the improvement of electrocatalytic performance.Among them,the Pt/CeO_(2)/GO biosensor containing 0.47 at% platinum exhibits an excellent electrochemical detection performance with high sensitivity of 12.3 μA·L/(mmol·cm^(2)) and a low limit of detection(LOD) of 5.12 μmol/L in a wide linear range from 10 to 900 μmol/L.In addition,the proposed biosensor possesses a promising anti-interference capability,as well as high stability and good reproducibility,which was assessed by testing the cyclic voltammogram in 0.1 mol/L lactic acid one year later.The underlying mechanism was proposed for electrochemical oxidation of LA to carbon dioxide and acetic acid with the synergistic effect among Pt,CeO_(2),and GO.Furthermore,the results of the standard addition method in real samples(human serum and urine samples) reveal that the lactic acid detection of the non-enzymatic Pt/CeO_(2)/GO biosensor is accompanied by high reliability.Thus,it will be a valuable biosensor for in vitro detection of lactic acid level in clinical samples.Luyao Zhang Fuli Tian Huan Li Jiangman Meng Qi Liu Xiaoqian Guo Yun Qiu Jun Zhang Changyan Li 2023Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,9:0
8Mechanistic investigation on Ag-Cu_(2)O in electrocatalytic CO_(2) to CH_(4) by in situ/operando spectroscopic and theoretical analysis显示文摘Silver-copper electrocatalysts have demonstrated effectively catalytic performance in electroreduction CO_(2) toward CH_(4),yet a revealing insight into the reaction pathway and mechanism has remained elusive.Herein,we construct chemically bonded Ag-Cu_(2)O boundaries,in which the complete reduction of Cu_(2)O to Cu has been strongly impeded owing to the presence of surface Ag shell.The interfacial confinement effect helps to maintain Cu^(+)sites at the Ag-Cu_(2)O boundaries.Using in situ/operando spectroscopy and theoretical simulations,it is revealed that CO_(2) is enriched at the Ag-Cu_(2)O boundaries due to the enhanced physisorption and chemisorption to CO_(2),activating CO_(2) to form the stable intermediate^(*)CO.The boundaries between Ag shell and the Cu_(2)O mediate local^(*)CO coverage and promote^(*)CHO intermediate formation,consequently facilitating CO_(2)-to-CH_(4) conversion.This work not only reveals the structure-activity relationships but also offers insights into the reaction mechanism on Ag-Cu catalysts for efficient electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction.Min Sun Luxiao Zhang Fuli Tian Jiaxin Li Yanqiu Lei Heng Zhang Lifeng Han Zhihua Guo Yonghui Gao Fenrong Liu Yan Wang Luhui Wang Shanghong Zeng 2024Journal of Energy Chemistry2024,88,1:0
