1Design and simulation of an innovative cylinder fabricated by selective laser melting显示文摘Additive Manufacturing(AM) processing has attracted wide attention due to its advantages, e.g., rapid prototyping and free design. In aeronautic and astronautic engineering, it is especially attractive to apply AM processing, especially Selective Laser Melting(SLM), into primary structures that always occupy most of the whole mass of aircraft or spacecraft. In this paper, an innovative lattice sandwich structure that is suitable to be manufactured with SLM is adopted to design the typical cylinder under axial compression. Firstly, the mechanical properties of pyramidal lattice are investigated, and the bearing capacity of the lattice sandwich cylinder is given analytically for each failure mode. Secondly, a composite cylinder is re-designed in the form of lattice sandwich structure, which sizes are ultimately obtained through optimization. Finally, finite element model of the innovative cylinder is established and several kinds of imperfection are introduced to simulate the defects caused by SLM. Numerical result shows that the lattice sandwich design can obviously enhance the bearing capacity of cylindrical shell even though the original one is designed with composite material. 2Performance of water-based foams affected by chemical inhibitors to retard spontaneous combustion of coal显示文摘The micelle generating process of the sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) solution with the addition of chemical inhibitors was elucidated using phase separation model, and the descending order of the capacity for the selected chemical inhibitors to reduce the critical micelle concentrations of the solution are Mg Cl_2, Ca Cl_2,NH_4HCO_3 and NH_4Cl. The data to quantitatively describe the foam decay process, including foaming ratio,foam life and decay behaviors, was obtained by pressure measuring system. The results indicate that chemical inhibitors can improve the solution foamability. The capacity of the inhibitors to enhance the solution foamability is sorted as NH_4 Cl, NH_4HCO_3, Mg Cl2 and Ca Cl_2 which can distinctly improve the foam stability as well. The capacity of the inhibitors to enhance the SDS foam stability can be arranged as Mg Cl_2, NH_4 Cl, NH_4HCO_3 and Ca Cl_2. It is observed that the gravity drainage plays a leading role in the increase of proportion of diffusion drainage. The oxidation dynamic parameters of the coal samples treated by inhibition foams were investigated using thermal analysis technique, and their synergistic effects on inhibiting coal oxidation were explored.Chen Peng Huang Fujun Fu Yue 2016International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2016,26,3:3
3Confining sulfur in intact freestanding scaffold of yolk-shell nanofibers with high sulfur content for lithium-sulfur batteries显示文摘Nanostructure design holds great potential in fabricating sulfur electrodes that host a high sulfur loading and still attain high electrochemical utilization for the developing of high-energy-density lithium-sulfur(Li-S) batteries. In this contribution, we introduce the yolk-shell structure into a freestanding carbon nanofibers film and construct a complete hollow yolk-shell Ti O2/carbon nanofibers@void@TiN@carbon(TiO2-CNFs@void@Ti N@C) composite. With inherent double conductive network and strong adsorption capability for polysulfides, the Ti O2-CNFs@void@Ti N@C composite can not only provide sufficient electrical contact for the insulating sulfur, but also effectively entrap polysulfides for prolonged cycle life. As a result, an excellent capacity retention ratio of 60.9% after 1000 cycles at 1 C as well as a high capacity of688.5 mA h g^(-1) at 5 C rate is accomplished with the cells employing Ti O2-CNFs@void@TiN @C as a cathode substrate for sulfur. 4Piezoelectric Actuator Placement Optimization and Active Vibration Control of a Membrane Structure显示文摘The placement optimization of piezoelectric actuators and active vibration control of a membrane structure are studied in this paper. The classical linear quadratic regulator controllers are designed to suppress the unwanted vibration. 9Using Three-Dimensional Lorenz Scatter Plots to Detect Patients with Atrioventricular Node Double Path Caused by Interpolated Ventricular Premature Systoles: A Case Study显示文摘A series of related electrophysiology phenomena can be caused by the occurrence of interpolated ventricular premature contraction.In our recent three-dimensional Lorenz R-R scatter plot research,we found that atrioventricular node double path caused by interpolated ventricular premature contraction imprints a specifi c pattern on three-dimensional Lorenz plots generated from 24-hour Holter recordings.We found two independent subclusters separated from the interpolated premature beat precluster,the interpolated premature beat cluster,and the interpolated premature beat postcluster,respectively.Combined with use of the trajectory tracking function and the leap phenomenon,our results reveal the presence of the atrioventricular node double conduction path.Li Jingxiu Zhang Fujun Wei Xijin Peng Ding 2021Cardiovascular Innovations and Applications2021,,2:0
10Loss of NEIL3 activates radiotherapy resistance in the progression of prostate cancer显示文摘Objective:To explore the genetic changes in the progression of castration-resistant prostate cancer(CRPC)and neuroendocrine prostate cancer(NEPC)and the reason why these cancers resist existing therapies.Methods:We employed our CRPC cell line microarray and other CRPC or NEPC datasets to screen the target gene NEIL3.Lentiviral transfection and RNA interference were used to construct overexpression and knockdown cell lines.Cell and animal models of radiotherapy were established by using a medical electron linear accelerator.Flow cytometry was used to detect apoptosis or cell cycle progression.Western blot and qPCR were used to detect changes in the protein and RNA levels.Results:TCGA and clinical patient datasets indicated that NEIL3 was downregulated in CRPC and NEPC cell lines,and NEIL3 was correlated with a high Gleason score but a good prognosis.Further functional studies demonstrated that NEIL3 had no effect on the proliferation and migration of PCa cells.However,cell and animal radiotherapy models revealed that NEIL3 could facilitate the radiotherapy sensitivity of PCa cells,while loss of NEIL3 activated radiotherapy resistance.Mechanistically,we found that NEIL3 negatively regulated the expression of ATR,and higher NEIL3 expression repressed the ATR/CHK1 pathway,thus regulating the cell cycle.Conclusions:We demonstrated that NEIL3 may serve as a diagnostic or therapeutic target for therapy-resistant patients.Qiong Wang Zean Li Jin Yang Shirong Peng Qianghua Zhou Kai Yao Wenli Cai Zhongqiu Xie Fujun Qin Hui Li Xu Chen Kaiwen Li Hai Huang 2022Cancer Biology & Medicine2022,19,8:0
11A novel feature susceptibility approach for a PEMFC control system based on an improved XGBoost-Boruta algorithm显示文摘Data-driven modelling methods are being developed in the quest to achieve more accurate performance prediction of protons exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) systems in response to their complicated physicochemical phenomena. However, there is little research in this field detailing the pre-processing and selection of balance of plants (BOP) features for the input layer of system performance prediction at different current densities. Furthermore, most of the previous research applies neural networks based on simulation data rather than real-time bench or vehicle operation datasets which leads to low robustness and unreliable practical results. This paper details the application of a novel algorithm denoted XGBoost-Boruta, which utilises the combination of an ensemble learning approach and a wrapping approach, to improve the robustness of feature selection and to increase the accuracy and robustness of PEMFC system performance prediction. By introduction of the Z score and shadow features to eliminate the randomness of conventional ensemble learning methods, seven key controllable BOP variables of the hydrogen anode, air cathode and cooling subsystems are selected as the original input variables to determine their dependency on the stack voltage. Two case studies are presented for verification and validation of the proposed algorithm based on the real-time dataset of bench experimental data and data obtained from heavy truck operation at current densities ranging from 100 to 1500 mA/cm2. 12The near-room-temperature upsurge of electrical resistivity in Lu-H-N is not superconductivity,but a metal-to-poor-conductor transition显示文摘The recent report of superconductivity in nitrogen-doped lutetium hydride(Lu-H-N)at 294 K and 1 GPa brought hope for long-sought-after ambient-condition superconductors.However,the failure of scientists worldwide to independently reproduce these results has cast intense skepticism on this exciting claim.In this work,using a reliable experimental protocol,we synthesized Lu-H-N while minimizing extrinsic influences and reproduced the sudden change in resistance near room temperature.With quantitative comparison of the temperaturedependent resistance between Lu-H-N and the pure lutetium before reaction,we were able to clarify that the drastic resistance change is most likely caused by a metal-to-poor-conductor transition rather than by superconductivity.Herein,we also briefly discuss other issues recently raised in relation to the Lu-H-N system.Di Peng Qiaoshi Zeng Fujun Lan Zhenfang Xing Yang Ding Ho-kwang Mao 2023Matter and Radiation at Extremes2023,8,5:0
