1Effects of dry dietary protein on digestibility, nitrogen-balance and growth performance of young male mink显示文摘The experiment was to study the nutrient digestibility and metabolism performance of male minks,which were fed different protein level diets during growth period. Effects of protein quantity on growth and development of minks and feed conversion ratio(FCR) were also investigated. Sixty healthy male minks of 45 d were randomly allocated into six groups with ten replicates, which was one sable for each replicate. The minks in six groups were fed diets in which protein levels were 28, 30,32, 34, 36 and 38%,respectively. The six groups were denoted as P28, P30, P32, P34, P36 and P38. After 2 wk, all minks were weighed, average daily gains(ADG) were calculated, and the digestibility values of nutrients were determined. The results indicated that digestibility of calcium, nitrogen of fence, nitrogen deposition, net protein utilization(NPU), and biological value of protein(BV) were similar(P > 0.05), however, nitrogen intake greatly varied among groups(P < 0.01). Compared with group P28, groups of P34, P36 and P38 showed significant difference(P < 0.01) in ADG and FCR. 2High-throughput screening of carbon-supported single metal atom catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘Carbon-supported transition metal single atoms are promising oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)electrocatalyst.Since there are many types of carbon supports and transition metals,the accurate prediction of the components with high activity through theoretical calculations can greatly save experimental time and costs.In this work,the ORR catalytic properties of 180 types single-atom catalysts(SACs)composed of the eight representative carbon-based substrates(graphdiyne,C_(2)N,C_(3)N_(4),phthalocyanine,C-coordination graphene,N-coordination graphene,covalent organic frameworks and metal-organic frameworks)and 3d,4d,and 5d transition metal elements are investigated by density functional theory(DFT).The adsorption free energy of OH^(*) is proved a universal descriptor capable of accurately prediction of the ORR catalytic activity.It is found that the oxygen reduction reaction overpotentials of all the researched SACs follow one volcano shape very well with the adsorption free energy of OH^(*).Phthalocyanine,N-coordination graphene and metal-organic frameworks stand out as the promising supports for single metal atom due to the relatively lower overpotentials.Notably,the Co-doped metal-organic frameworks,Ir-doped phthalocyanine,Co-doped N-coordination graphene,Co-doped graphdiyne and Rh-doped phthalocyanine show extremely low overpotentials comparable to that of Pt(111).The study provides a guideline for design and selection of carbon-supported SACs toward oxygen reduction reaction.Yiran Wang Riming Hu Yongcheng Li Fuhe Wang Jiaxiang Shang Jianglan Shui 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:2

10Construction of oxygen-vacancies-rich S-scheme BaTiO_(3)/red phosphorous heterojunction for enhanced photocatalytic activity显示文摘The S-scheme heterojunctions can effectively separate photogenerated electrons and holes,retain their high redox capacity,and provide great prospects for enhancing the photocatalytic activity of the composites in different fields.Herein,S-scheme heterojunction photocatalytic materials were rationally designed and prepared by a simple hydrothermal method between narrow-bandgap red phosphorus(HRP)and wide-bandgap BaTiO_(3)(BTO)photocatalysts.Owing to the effective charge separation and redox ability from the S-scheme mechanism and oxygen vacancies,BTO/HRP exhibited good photoelectrochemical and photocatalytic degradation ability.Systematic photoreaction tests demonstrated that BTO/HRP had high practicality in the removal of pollutants from wastewater;its photodegradation rate of Rhodamine B reached 3.029×10^(−1) min^(−1) in 12 min;and it could inactivate 1.8×10^(9) CFU/mL of Escherichia.coli in 1 h,with an antibacterial rate of 99.8%.This paper provided a promising photocatalyst for pollutant removal and a new strategy for the fabrication of efficient RP-based photocatalytic materials.Yuhua Ma Xiadiye Aihemaiti Kezhen Qi Shiyin Wang Yanjie Shi Zhuanhu Wang Minghe Gao Fuhe Gai Yulian Qiu 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,25:1
11Quantitative method for identifying networks of minimum priority sites for protection of rare and endangered plant species in Guangdong,China显示文摘The approaches to enlarge the protected areas are deeply embedded in the conservation planning.In practice,however,even in some sites of top conservation priority,there exist problems of inefficient conservation for lack of funding,to say nothing of assisting all species under threat from the viewpoint of conservationists.Identifying priority sites for conservation and establishing networks of minimum priority sites(NOMPS)are helpful for promoting the transition from number and size oriented,to quality and effectiveness oriented practices of biological conservation,and for realizing the target of biodiversity conservation with the most benefits for the least costs.Based on heuristic algorithm and integer linear programming(ILP),we propose a refined method of heuristic integer linear programming(HILP)for quantitative identification of the NOMPS to protect rare and endangered plant species(REPS)in Guangdong Province,China.The results indicate that there are 19 priority sites which are essential for protecting all of the 107 REPS distributed in 83 sites in Guangdong.These should be the paramount targets of financing and management.Compared with the ILP,which uses minimum number of sites as the only constraint,HILP takes into consideration of the effect of species richness,and is thus more suitable for conservation practices though with a little more number of priority sites selected.It is suggested that ILP and HILP are both effective quantitative methods for identifying NOMPS and can yield important information for decision making,especially when economic factors are constraints for biological conservation.Benyang WANG Fuhe LUO Xuening ZHEN Shixiao YU 2009Frontiers in Biology2009,4,1:0
12Rejuvenating LiNi_(0.5)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.3)O_(2) cathode directly from battery scraps显示文摘Battery recycling is indispensable for alleviating critical material shortages and enabling sustainable battery applications.However,current methods mostly focus on spent batteries,which not only require sophisticated disassembly and material extraction but also have unknown chemistries and states of health,resulting in high costs and extreme challenges to achieve regeneration.Here,we propose the direct recycling and effective regeneration of air-degraded LiNi_(0.5)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.3)O_(2)(NCM523)cathode directly from battery scraps generated during battery manufacturing.The NCM523 shows surface degradation only a few nanometers deep and accordingly can be regenerated without adding Li,achieving restored properties(170 mAh g^(-1) at 0.1 C,92.7%retention after 1000 cycles)similar to those of fresh commercial materials.EverBatt analysis shows that scrap recycling has a profit of$1.984 kg^(-1),which is~10 times higher than conventional recycling,making it practical and economical to rejuvenate slightly degraded electrode materials for sustainable battery manufacturing.Yaqing Guo Chi Guo Pengjie Huang Qigao Han Fuhe Wang Hao Zhang Honghao Liu Yuan-Cheng Cao Yonggang Yao Yunhui Huang 2023eScience2023,3,2:0
