| 1 | Recent advances of microneedles for biomedical applications: drug delivery and beyond显示文摘The microneedle(MN), a highly efficient and versatile device, has attracted extensive scientific and industrial interests in the past decades due to prominent properties including painless penetration, low cost, excellent therapeutic efficacy, and relative safety. The robust microneedle enabling transdermal delivery has a paramount potential to create advanced functional devices with superior nature for biomedical applications. In this review, a great effort has been made to summarize the advance of microneedles including their materials and latest fabrication method, such as three-dimensional printing(3DP). Importantly, a variety of representative biomedical applications of microneedles such as disease treatment, immunobiological administration, disease diagnosis and cosmetic field, are highlighted in detail. At last, conclusions and future perspectives for development of advanced microneedles in biomedical fields have been discussed systematically. | 2 | Cu_2ZnSnS_4 thin films prepared by sulfurization of ion beam sputtered precursor and their electrical and optical properties显示文摘Cu2ZnSnS4 (CZTS) thin films were successfully prepared by sulfurization of ion bean sputtered precursors on soda-lime glass substrate. The single phase of stannite-type structure CZTS films were obtained as revealed in EDS and XRD analysis when the ratios of the constituents of CZTS thin films are close to stoichiometric by optimizing the conditions of precursor preparation and sulfurization. A low sheet resistivity as about 0.156 Ω·cm and a high absorption coefficient as 1×104 cm-1 were achieved in this method by Hall effect measurements and UV-VIS spectrophotometer. | 3 | Deletion of SMARCA4 impairs alveolar epithelial type II cells proliferation and aggravates pulmonary fibrosis in mice显示文摘Alveolar epithelial cells(AECs)injury and failed reconstitution of the AECs barrier are both integral to alveolar flooding and subsequent pulmonary fibrosis(PF).Nevertheless,the exact mechanisms regulating the regeneration of AECs post-injury still remain unclear.SMARCA4 is a part of the large ATP-dependent chromatin remodelling complex SWI/SNF,which is essential for kidney and heart fibrosis.We investigates SMARCA4 function in lung fibrosis by establishing PF mice model with bleomycin firstly and found that the expression of SMARCA4 was mainly enhanced in alveolar type II(ATII)cells.Moreover,we established an alveolar epithelium-specific SMARCA4-deleted SP-C-rtTA/(tetO)7-Cre/SMARCA4f/f mice(SOSM4D/D)model,as well as a new SMARCA4-deleted alveolar type II(ATII)-like mle-12 cell line.We found that the bleomycin-induced PF was more aggressive in SOSM4D/D mice.Also,the proliferation of ATII cells was decreased with the loss of SMARCA4 in vivo and in vitro.In addition,we observed increased proliferation of ATII cells accompanied by abnormally high expression of SMARCA4 in human PF lung sections.These data uncovered the indispensable role of SMARCA4 in the proliferation of ATII cells,which might affect the progression of PF. | Danyi Peng Daozhu Si Rong Zhang Jiang Liu Hao Gou Yunqiu Xia Daiyin Tian Jihong Dai Ke Yang Enmei Liu Yujun Shi Q.Richard Lu Lin Zou Zhou Fu | 2017 | Genes & Diseases2017,4,4: | 3 |
| 4 | Effect of Monolithic LaB_6 on the Ablation Resistance of ZrC/SiC Coating Prepared by Supersonic Plasma Spraying for C/C Composites显示文摘Ablation resistance of monolithic LaB_6-doped ZrC coating for SiC-coated carbon/carbon composites by supersonic atmospheric plasma spray was investigated under an oxyacetylene torch with a heat flux of 4.18 MW/m^2. Result shows that ZrC coating with 10 vol.% LaB_6 has a good ablation resistance compared with pure ZrC, ZrC with 20 vol.% LaB_6 and SiC-doped ZrC coating. After ablation for 15 s, the weight is increased by 1.12 mg/s. | 14 | 消化道神经内分泌肿瘤临床病理特征及预后因素分析(英文)显示文摘Objective: The aim of the study was to analyze the clinicopathologic characteristics of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasm(GEP-NEN) and to explore the prognostic factors for patients and differences of immunohistochemical markers between neuroendocrine tumor(NET) and neuroendocrine carcinoma(NEC). Methods: Retrospective reviews were conducted for the charts of 119 patients with GEP-NEN at the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University(China) from August 2003 to December 2013. Kaplan-Meier method was used to do the overall survivals analysis for the patients at different levels of predictive factors. Meanwhile, Cox proportional hazard model was used to select independent risk factors of survival. Analysis of variance was used to compare the expression of immunohistochemical markers among different pathological grades. Results: Among 119 patients, pancreas(45/119, 37.82%) and rectum(33/119, 27.73%) were mostly involved. The onset age of GEP-NEN in female group was younger than that of the male group. There were 13 deaths(10.92%) during 18.9(0.1–133.4) months follow-up period. Multivariate analysis indicated that neural invasion, gender and pathological grades of NET and NEC were independent risk factors. In neuroendocrine neoplasm(NEN), Syn expression in G2 was higher than G1 and G3, while Cg A showed no significant difference. All markers showed no significant differences between NET and NEC. Conclusion: GEP-NEN may occur at multiple sites of digestive system and lack specific clinical manifestations. Syn expression detected for the prognosis of G1, G2 and G3 tumors have clinical significance. Neural invasion, sex and pathological grades were independent prognostic factors for GEP-NEN patients. | 18 | Enhancement of photoelectric performance for CsPbI2Br solar cells by the synergistic effect of binary additives显示文摘CsPbI_(2)Br-based perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have attracted much attention because of their excellent phase stability and appropriate bandgap.However,numerous defects of undercoordinated ions or mobile species are the sites of carrier nonradiative recombination,causing a low power conversion efficiency(PCE).In this work,NaCl and nitrogen-doped graphene quantum dots(N-GQDs)as binary additives are introduced into perovskite precursor to obtain high-quality photoactive films.Chloride ion(Cl^(-))is incorporated into perovskite due to the same physical and chemical properties as bromine(Br^(-)),that align the energy level of CsPbI_(2)Br,decrease the energy barrier between perovskite and P3HT to promote carrier transport and extraction,hence result in the reduced energy loss.Meanwhile,because of its good conductivity,N-GQDs at grain boundaries can rapidly conduct photogenerated electrons to SnO_(2),suppressing carrier recombination at grain boundaries.Furthermore,the trap state density of the CsPbI_(2)Br film with binary additives is reduced,which could prolong the carrier lifetime,and improve surface morphology.As a result,a PCE of 15.37%for CsPbI_(2)Br PSCs with binary additives is obtained,which shows~22.76%relative increment compare with the pristine PSCs.Therefore,a simple and convenient optimization strategy of binary additives for PSCs is proposed in this work. | Qiulu Chen Like Lin Yanzhou Wang Zhe Gao Yujun Fu Qiming Liu Junshuai Li Deyan He | 2023 | Journal of Materiomics2023,9,1: | 0 |
