1Foveated glasses-free 3D display with ultrawide field of view via a large-scale 2D-metagrating complex显示文摘Glasses-free three-dimensional(3D)displays are one of the game-changing technologies that will redefine the display industry in portable electronic devices.However,because of the limited resolution in state-of-the-art display panels,current 3D displays suffer from a critical trade-off among the spatial resolution,angular resolution,and viewing angle.Inspired by the so-called spatially variant resolution imaging found in vertebrate eyes,we propose 3D display with spatially variant information density.Stereoscopic experiences with smooth motion parallax are maintained at the central view,while the viewing angle is enlarged at the periphery view.It is enabled by a large-scale 2D-metagrating complex to manipulate dot/linear/rectangular hybrid shaped views.Furthermore,a video rate full-color 3D display with an unprecedented 160°horizontal viewing angle is demonstrated.With thin and light form factors,the proposed 3D system can be integrated with off-the-shelf purchased flat panels,making it promising for applications in portable electronics.Jianyu Hua Erkai Hua Fengbin Zhou Jiacheng Shi Chinhua Wang Huigao Duan Yueqiang Hu Wen Qiao Linsen Chen 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,11:14
2Electronic structures of the oxygenated diamond (100) surfaces显示文摘By means of first principles method on the basis of density functional theory (DFT), the equi- librium geometries and density of states (DOS) of the two oxygenated diamond (100) surfaces, bridging model and on-top model are calculated. The results indicate that there are no surface states located in the band gap of the bridging model of oxygenated dia- mond (100) surface, and the occupied surface states in the valence band are attributed to the non-bonded O 2p orbital, O 2p and C 2p bonding orbitals, and C 2p and H 1s bonding orbitals. By contrast, for the on-top model of oxygenated diamond (100) surface, the unoccupied surface states exist in the band gap, which originate from non-bonded C 2p and O 2p or- bitals. 4TESTING LINEAR AND NONLINEAR GRANGER CAUSALITY IN CSI300 FUTURES AND SPOT MARKETS BASED ON NEW CONCEPTS OF NONLINEAR POSITIVE/NEGATIVE SPILLOVER显示文摘Hiemstra and Jones(1994) argued that a significant negative value of their nonlinear Granger causality test(H-J test) means there is a confounding effect in the prediction.However,from the theoretical analysis and Monte Carlo simulations,the authors find that H-J test is significantly negative under the circumstance of negative volatility spillover.Furthermore,the authors put forward the conceptions of positive/negative nonlinear spillover,and apply H-J test to examine positive/negative nonlinear spillover effect.The empirical study on China stock futures and spot markets shows that:1) There is significant positive nonlinear spillover from futures to spot market;2) There is significant negative nonlinear spillover from spot to futures market.The authors argue that there is 'risk absorption' mechanism in information spillover from the spot market to the futures market,which is due to the temporal transfer of speculative trading from the analysis.ZHOU Pu LU Fengbin WANG Shouyang 2014Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2014,27,4:2
5Equilibrium geometric structure and electronic properties of Cl and H_2O co-adsorption on Fe(100) surface显示文摘Based on the first principles density functional theory,the equilibrium geometric structure and surface electronic properties of Cl and H2O co-adsorption on the Fe(100) surface are investigated.The results indicate that the optimal adsorption site for Cl and H2O co-adsorption on the Fe(100) surface is the location of Cl at the bridge site and H2O at the top site.Compared with the Fe(100)/H2O adsorption system,remarkable changes in geometric structure and electronic properties occur,owing to the presence of Cl in the Fe(100)/(H2O+Cl) adsorption system.The analysis of equilibrium geometric structure and surface electronic properties shows that the presence of Cl in the Fe(100)/(H2O+Cl) adsorption system unstablizes the Fe surface,making it easy to lose electrons.ZHAO Wei WANG JiaDao LIU FengBin CHEN DaRong 2009Chinese Science Bulletin2009,54,8:2
6Recent advances in hollow metal-organic frameworks and their composites for heterogeneous thermal catalysis显示文摘Hollow metal-organic frameworks(Ho MOFs)as emerging materials have been arousing great interest in heterogeneous catalysis with respect to the solid counterparts,mainly because of their unique and intriguing features such as high surface to volume ratio,large void space,short channel length,and more exposed active sites.To achieve diverse catalysis,it is of great importance to combine Ho MOFs with other active components for constructing smart composites.In this review,the recent advances in Ho MOFs and their composites for heterogeneous catalysis are summarized.Firstly,the synthetic strategies for various Ho MOFs with single shell,double shells or multiple shells are summarized,while their composites with yolk-shell,hollow sandwich and hollow satellite structures are described.Secondly,various catalytic reactions over Ho MOFs and their composites are discussed,and moreover,the relationships among the active components,structures and their performances are illustrated.Thirdly,the potential challenges and future development on Ho MOFs-based nanocatalysts are proposed.This review will bring some insights for better design and fabrication of heterogeneous nanocatalysts with the well-defined hollow structures.Haowu Wang Fengbin Zheng Guangxin Xue Yinglong Wang Guodong Li Zhiyong Tang 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,11:2
7The time‑varying causal relationship between the Bitcoin market and internet attention显示文摘The increasing attention on Bitcoin since 2013 prompts the issue of possible evidence for a causal relationship between the Bitcoin market and internet attention.Taking the Google search volume index as the measure of internet attention,time-varying Granger causality between the global Bitcoin market and internet attention is examined.Empirical results show a strong Granger causal relationship between internet attention and trading volume.Moreover,they indicate,beginning in early 2018,an even stronger impact of trading volume on internet attention,which is consistent with the rapid increase in Bitcoin users following the 2017 Bitcoin bubble.Although Bitcoin returns are found to strongly affect internet attention,internet attention only occasionally affects Bitcoin returns.Further investigation reveals that interactions between internet attention and returns can be amplified by extreme changes in prices,and internet attention is more likely to lead to returns during Bitcoin bubbles.These empirical findings shed light on cryptocurrency investor attention theory and imply trading strategy in Bitcoin markets.Xun Zhang Fengbin Lu Rui Tao Shouyang Wang 2021Financial Innovation2021,7,1:1
8Genetic Nelder-Mead neural network algorithm for fault parameter inversion using GPS data显示文摘The traditional genetic algorithm(GA)has unstable inversion results and is easy to fall into the local optimum when inverting fault parameters.Therefore,this article considers the combination of GA with other non-linear algorithms in order to improve the inversion precision of GA.This paper proposes a genetic Nelder-Mead neural network algorithm(GNMNNA).This algorithm uses a neural network algorithm(NNA)to optimize the global search ability of GA.At the same time,the simplex algorithm is used to optimize the local search capability of the GA.Through numerical examples,the stability of the inversion algorithm under different strategies is explored.The experimental results show that the proposed GNMNNA has stronger inversion stability and higher precision compared with the existing algorithms.The effectiveness of GNMNNA is verified by the BodrumeKos earthquake and Monte Cristo Range earthquake.The experimental results show that GNMNNA is superior to GA and NNA in both inversion precision and computational stability.Therefore,GNMNNA has greater application potential in complex earthquake environment.Leyang Wang Ranran Xu Fengbin Yu 2022Geodesy and Geodynamics2022,13,4:1
9Effects of the surface-adsorption of boron-doped diamond electrode on its electrochemical behavior显示文摘To elucidate the effects of the hydro- genation and oxygenation of the boron-doped dia- mond (BDD) electrode on its electrochemical behav- iors, the surface morphologies and phases of the two surface-adsorption BDD films have been investigated and the cyclic voltammograms and AC impedance spectra have been measured at these two BDD electrodes. The results indicate that compared with the hydrogen-adsorption BDD film, oxygen-adsor- ption BDD film is less conductive, and has a larger surface roughness and a lower sp3/sp2 ratio. The oxygenated BDD film electrode possesses a wider electrochemical window, larger diamond film resis- tance and capacitance and a larger polarization re- sistance than hydrogenated BDD electrode. 14Double core-shell nanostructured Sn-Cu alloy as enhanced anode materials for lithium and sodium storage显示文摘Sn-based alloy materials are considered as a promising anode candidate for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)and sodium-ion batteries(SIBs),whereas they suffer from severe volume change during the discharge/charge process.To address the issue,double core-shell structured Sn-Cu@SnO2@C nanocomposites have been prepared by a simple co-precipitation method combined with carbon coating approach.The double core-shell structure consists of Sn-Cu multiphase alloy nanoparticles as the inner core,intermediate SnO2 layer anchored on the surface of Sn-Cu nanoparticle and outer carbon layer.The Sn-Cu@SnO2@C electrode exhibits outstanding electrochemical perfor-mances,delivering a reversible capacity of 396 mA·h·g^-1 at 100 mA·g^-1 after 100 cycles for LIBs and a high initial reversible capacity of 463 mA·h·g^-1 at 50 mA·g^-1 and a capacity retention of 86% after 100 cycles,along with a remarkable rate capability(193 mA·h·g^-1 at 5000 mA·g^-1)for SIBs.This work provides a viable strategy to fabricate double core-shell structured Sn-based alloy anodes for high energy density LIBs and SIBs.Luoyang LI Tian CHEN Fengbin HUANG Peng LIU Qingrong YAO Feng WANG Jianqiu DENG 2020Frontiers of Materials Science2020,14,2:1
15Research on Loophole with Second Distribution of Real Value Detectors显示文摘Traditional anomaly detection algorithm has improved to some degree the mechanism of negative selection. There still remain many problems such as the randomness of detector generation, incompleteness of selfset and the generalization ability of detectors, which would cause a lot of loopholes in non-self space. A heuristic algorithm based on the second distribution of real value detectors for the remains of loopholes of the non-self space in the first distribution and the mutation regions of self space is proposed. The algorithm can distribute real value detectors through omission data based on the methods of partition and movement. A method is proposed to solve the problem on how to get the optimal solutions to the parameters related in the algorithm. Theoretical analysis and experimental results prove the universality and effectiveness of the method. 18The dual role of ubiquitin-like protein Urm1 as a protein modifier and sulfur carrier显示文摘The ubiquitin-related modifier Urm1 can be covalently conjugated to lysine residues of other proteins,such as yeast Ahp1 and human MOCS3,through a mechanism involving the E1-like protein Uba4(MOCS3 in humans).Similar to ubiquitination,urmylation requires a thioester intermediate and forms isopeptide bonds between Urm1 and its substrates.In addition,the urmylation process can be significantly enhanced by oxidative stress.Recent findings have demonstrated that Urm1 also acts as a sulfur carrier in the thiolation of eukaryotic tRNA via a mechanism that requires the formation of a thiocarboxylated Urm1.This role is very similar to that of prokaryotic sulfur carriers such as MoaD and ThiS.Evidence strongly supports the hypothesis that Urm1 is the molecular fossil in the evolutionary link between prokaryotic sulfur carriers and eukaryotic ubiquitin-like proteins.In the present review,we discuss the dual role of Urm1 in protein and tRNA modification.Fengbin Wang Meiruo Liu Rui Qiu Chaoneng Ji 2011Protein & Cell2011,2,8:0
19Study on Mechanical Properties of High Fine Silty Basalt Fiber Shotcrete Based on Orthogonal Design显示文摘In order to improve the comprehensive utilization rate of highfines sand(HFS)produced by the mine,full solid waste shotcrete(HFS-BFRS)was prepared with HFS asfine aggregate in cooperation with basaltfiber(BF).The strength growth characteristics of HFS-BFRS were analyzed.And thefitting equation of compressive strength growth characteristics of HFS-BFRS under the synergistic effect of multiple factors was given.And based on the orthogonal experimental method,the effects on the compressive strength,splitting tensile strength andflex-ural strength of HFS-BFRS under the action of different levels of influencing factors were investigated.The effect of three factors on the mechanical properties of HFS-BFRS,3,and 28 d,respectively,was revealed by choosing the colloidal sand ratio(C/H),basaltfiber volume fraction(BF Vol)and naphthalene high-efficiency water reducing agent(FDN)as the design variables,combined with indoor tests and theoretical analysis.The results show that the sensitivity of the three factors on compressive strength andflexural strength is C/H>FDN>BF Vol,and split-ting tensile strength is BF Vol>FDN>C/H.Finally,thefitting ratio of HFS-BFRS was optimized by the factor index method,and the rationality was verified by thefield test.For thefluidity of HFS-BFRS,the slump can be improved by 139%under the action of 1.2%FDN,which guarantees the pump-ability of HFS-BFRS.Jinxing Wang Yingjie Yang Xiaolin Yang Huazhe Jiao Qi Wang Liuhua Yang Jianxin Yu Fengbin Chen 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,8:0
20A Time-Varying Conditional Parameter Distributed Lag Model with an Application to Crude Oil Market显示文摘This paper proposes a new time-varying parameter distributed lag(DL)model.In contrast to the existing methods,which assume parameters to be random walks or regime shifts,our method allows time-varying coefficients of lagged explanatory variables to be conditional on past information.Furthermore,a test for constant-parameter DL model is introduced.The model is then applied to examine time-varying causal effect of inventory on crude oil price and forecast weekly crude oil price.Time-varying causal effect of US commercial crude oil inventory on crude oil price return is presented.In particular,the causal effect of inventory is occasionally positive,which is contrary to some previous research.It’s also shown that the proposed model yields the best in and out-of-sample performances compared to seven alternative models including RW,ARMA,VAR,DL,autoregressive-distributed lag(ADL),time-varying parameter ADL(TVP-ADL)and DCB(dynamic conditional beta)models.Amina AILIGENG Fengbin LU Shouyang WANG 2023Journal of Systems Science and Information2023,11,5:0
