| 1 | Foveated glasses-free 3D display with ultrawide field of view via a large-scale 2D-metagrating complex显示文摘Glasses-free three-dimensional(3D)displays are one of the game-changing technologies that will redefine the display industry in portable electronic devices.However,because of the limited resolution in state-of-the-art display panels,current 3D displays suffer from a critical trade-off among the spatial resolution,angular resolution,and viewing angle.Inspired by the so-called spatially variant resolution imaging found in vertebrate eyes,we propose 3D display with spatially variant information density.Stereoscopic experiences with smooth motion parallax are maintained at the central view,while the viewing angle is enlarged at the periphery view.It is enabled by a large-scale 2D-metagrating complex to manipulate dot/linear/rectangular hybrid shaped views.Furthermore,a video rate full-color 3D display with an unprecedented 160°horizontal viewing angle is demonstrated.With thin and light form factors,the proposed 3D system can be integrated with off-the-shelf purchased flat panels,making it promising for applications in portable electronics. | Jianyu Hua Erkai Hua Fengbin Zhou Jiacheng Shi Chinhua Wang Huigao Duan Yueqiang Hu Wen Qiao Linsen Chen | 2021 | Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,11: | 14 |
| 2 | Electronic structures of the oxygenated diamond (100) surfaces显示文摘By means of first principles method on the basis of density functional theory (DFT), the equi- librium geometries and density of states (DOS) of the two oxygenated diamond (100) surfaces, bridging model and on-top model are calculated. The results indicate that there are no surface states located in the band gap of the bridging model of oxygenated dia- mond (100) surface, and the occupied surface states in the valence band are attributed to the non-bonded O 2p orbital, O 2p and C 2p bonding orbitals, and C 2p and H 1s bonding orbitals. By contrast, for the on-top model of oxygenated diamond (100) surface, the unoccupied surface states exist in the band gap, which originate from non-bonded C 2p and O 2p or- bitals. | 4 | Effects of the surface-adsorption of boron-doped diamond electrode on its electrochemical behavior显示文摘To elucidate the effects of the hydro- genation and oxygenation of the boron-doped dia- mond (BDD) electrode on its electrochemical behav- iors, the surface morphologies and phases of the two surface-adsorption BDD films have been investigated and the cyclic voltammograms and AC impedance spectra have been measured at these two BDD electrodes. The results indicate that compared with the hydrogen-adsorption BDD film, oxygen-adsor- ption BDD film is less conductive, and has a larger surface roughness and a lower sp3/sp2 ratio. The oxygenated BDD film electrode possesses a wider electrochemical window, larger diamond film resis- tance and capacitance and a larger polarization re- sistance than hydrogenated BDD electrode. | 5 | Double core-shell nanostructured Sn-Cu alloy as enhanced anode materials for lithium and sodium storage显示文摘Sn-based alloy materials are considered as a promising anode candidate for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)and sodium-ion batteries(SIBs),whereas they suffer from severe volume change during the discharge/charge process.To address the issue,double core-shell structured Sn-Cu@SnO2@C nanocomposites have been prepared by a simple co-precipitation method combined with carbon coating approach.The double core-shell structure consists of Sn-Cu multiphase alloy nanoparticles as the inner core,intermediate SnO2 layer anchored on the surface of Sn-Cu nanoparticle and outer carbon layer.The Sn-Cu@SnO2@C electrode exhibits outstanding electrochemical perfor-mances,delivering a reversible capacity of 396 mA·h·g^-1 at 100 mA·g^-1 after 100 cycles for LIBs and a high initial reversible capacity of 463 mA·h·g^-1 at 50 mA·g^-1 and a capacity retention of 86% after 100 cycles,along with a remarkable rate capability(193 mA·h·g^-1 at 5000 mA·g^-1)for SIBs.This work provides a viable strategy to fabricate double core-shell structured Sn-based alloy anodes for high energy density LIBs and SIBs. | Luoyang LI Tian CHEN Fengbin HUANG Peng LIU Qingrong YAO Feng WANG Jianqiu DENG | 2020 | Frontiers of Materials Science2020,14,2: | 1 |
| 6 | Chronological Constraints on Late Paleozoic Collision in the Southwest Tianshan Orogenic Belt, China: Evidence from the Baleigong Granites显示文摘The Baleigong granites, located in the western part of the southwestern Tianshan Orogen(Kokshanyan region, China), records late Paleozoic magmatism during the late stages of convergence between the Tarim Block and the Central Tianshan Arc Terrane. We performed a detailed geochronological and geochemical study of the Baleigong granites to better constrain the nature of collisional processes in the Southwest Tianshan Orogen. The LA-ICP-MS U-Pb zircon isotopic analyses indicate that magmatism commenced in the early Permian(~282 Ma). The granite samples, which are characterized by high contents of SiO2(67.68-69.77 wt%) and Al2O3(13.93-14.76 wt%), are alkali-rich and Mg-poor, corresponding to the high-K calc-alkaline series. The aluminum saturation index(A/CNK) ranges from 0.93 to 1.02, indicating a metaluminous to slightly peraluminous composition. Trace element geochemistry shows depletions in Nb, Ta, and Ti, a moderately negative Eu anomaly(δEu=0.40-0.56), enrichment in LREE, and depletion in HREE((La/Yb)N=7.46-11.78). These geochemical signatures are characteristic of an I-type granite generated from partial melting of a magmatic arc. The I-type nature of the Baleigong granites is also supported by the main mafic minerals being Fe-rich calcic hornblende and biotite. We suggest that the high-K, calc-alkaline I-type granitic magmatism was generated by partial melting of the continental crust, possibly triggered by underplating by basaltic magma. | 11 | Characteristics of Ore-forming Fluid of the Gaoshan Gold-Silver Deposit in the Longquan Area, Zhejiang Province and its Implications for the Ore Genesis显示文摘The Gaoshan gold-silver deposit, located between the Yuyao-Lishui Fault and JiangshanShaoxing fault in Longquan Area, occurs in the Suichang-Longquan gold-silver polymetallic metallogenic belt. This study conducted an investigation for ore-forming fluids using microthermometry, D-O isotope and trace element. The results show that two types of fluid inclusions involved into the formation of the deposit are pure liquid phase and gas-liquid phase aqueous inclusions. The homogenization temperature and salinity of major mineralization phase ranges from 156°C to 236°C(average 200°C) and 0.35% to 8.68%(NaCleqv)(average 3.68%), respectively, indicating that the ore-forming fluid is characteristic of low temperature and low salinity. The oreforming pressure ranges between in 118.02 to 232.13'105 pa, and it is estabmiated that the oreforming depth ranges from 0.39 to 0.77 km, indicating it is a hypabyssal deposit in genesis. The low rare earth elements content in pyrites, widely developed fluorite in late ore-forming stage and lack of chlorargyrite(Ag Cl), indicates that the ore-forming fluid is rich in F rather than Cl. The ratios of Y/Ho, Zr/Hf and Nb/Ta of between different samples have little difference, indicating that the later hydrothermal activities had no effects on the former hydrothermal fluid. The chondrite-normalized REE patterns of pyrites from country rocks and ore veins are basically identical, with the characteristics of light REE enrichment and negative Eu anomalies, implying that the ore-forming fluid was oxidative and derived partly from the country rocks. The δD and δ18O of fluid inclusions in quartz formed during the main metallogenic stage range from -105‰ to -69 ‰ and -6.01‰ to -3.81‰, respectively. The D-O isotopic diagram shows that the metallogenic fluid is characterized by the mixing of formation water and meteoric water, without involvement of magmatic water.
