1Identification and mapping of genes for improving yield from Chinese common wild rice (O.rufipogon Griff.) using advanced backcross QTL analysis显示文摘To identify useful genes from wild rice which have been lost or weakened in cultivated rice has become more and more important for modern breeding strategy. In this study, a BC4 population derived from 94W1, an accession of common wild rice (Oryza rufipogon Griff.) from Dongxiang in Jiangxi Province of China, as the donor, and a high-yielding Indica cultivar (O. sativa L.), 'Guichao 2', as the recipient, was used to identify quantitative trait loci (QTL) associated with yield and its components. Based on the analysis for the genotype of BC4F1 population with 87 SSR markers distributed throughout the genome and investigation of the plant height, yield and yield components of BC4F2, a total of 52 QTLs, were detected. Of 7 QTLs associated with grain yield per plant, 2 QTLs on chromosome 2 and chromosome 11 for grain yield, explaining 16% and 11% of the phenotypic variance respectively, were identified. 2Identification and mapping of quantitative trait loci controlling cold-tolerance of Chinese common wild rice (O. rufipogon Griff.) at booting to flowering stages显示文摘An advanced backcross population of rice was used to identify the quantitative trait locus (QTL) controlling the cold-tolerance at booting to flowering stages. The recipient, Guichao 2 (GC2), was a commercial Indica rice; the donor Dongxiang common wild rice, was an accession of common wild rice (DXCWR, Oryza rufipogon Griff.). Three QTLs for cold-tolerance were detected on chromosomes 1, 6 and 11. Two of them coming from DXCWR could enhance the cold-tolerance of the backcross progenies. 3Nanoindentation analysis of TiN,TiAlN,and TiAlSiN coatings prepared by cathode ion plating显示文摘The TiN,TiAlN and TiAlSiN coatings were deposited on H13 hot-worked mold steel by cathodic arc ion plating(CAIP).The morphologies,phase compositions,and nanoindentation parameters,such as creep hardness,elastic modulus and plastic deformation energy of the coatings were analyzed with field emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD) and nanoindentation testing,respectively,and the test results were compared with equation describing the indentation model.The results show that the TiN,TiAlN and TiAlSiN coating surfaces were dense and composed of TiN,TiN + TiAlN,TiN + Si3N4 + TiAlN phases,respectively.There was no spalling or cracking on the indentation surface.The creep hardness of the TiN,TiAlN and TiAlSiN coatings was 7.33,13.5,and 15.2 GPa,respectively;the corresponding hardness measured by nanoindentation was 7.09,15.6,and 21.7 GPa,respectively;and the corresponding elastic modulus was 201.93,172.79,and 162.77 GPa,respectively.The contact depth and elastic modulus calculated by the indentation model were close to those of the test results,but the remaining indentation parameters showed discrepancies.The sequence of plastic deformation energy was TiN > TiAlN>TiAlSiN.KONG DeJun FU GuiZhong 2015Science China(Technological Sciences)2015,58,8:5
4An ultralow-energy negative cluster ion beam system and its application in preparation of few-layer graphene显示文摘We developed a cluster ion beam system that produces negative cluster beams of C 1-C 10 with ion current of 4.5 nA-50 A at extraction voltages ranging from 6 to 20 kV.The system uses the injector of a tandetron accelerator and was established by inserting an electrostatic scanner on its ion-optical line and modifying its Faraday cup into a substrate holder.Utilization of clusters enables ultrashallow ion implantation at energies as low as 600 eV/atom without deceleration.Small carbon clusters C 2 and C 4 were implanted into Ni/SiO 2 /Si substrates and following post-thermal treatment graphene was obtained.Raman spectroscopy showed characteristic 2D peaks with G-to-2D peak ratios revealing formation of 2-3 layers of graphene.The Raman data reveals clear effect of nonlinear cluster-surface interaction in ion beam synthesis of two-dimensional nanomaterials.WANG ZeSong ZHANG ZaoDi ZHANG Rui WANG ShiXu FU DeJun LIU JiaRui 2012Chinese Science Bulletin2012,57,27:2
5CrN films deposited by ion source-assisted magnetron sputtering显示文摘CrN coatings were deposited on Si(100) and piston rings by ion source assisted 40 kHz magnetron sputtering.Structure and composition of the coatings were characterized by X-ray diffraction,atomic force microscopy,scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy.Mechanical and tribological properties were assessed by microhardness and pin-on-disc testing.The ion source-assisted system has a deposition rate of 3.88 μm/h,against 2.2 μm/h without ion-source assistance.The CrN coatings prepared with ion source assistance exhibited an increase in microhardness(up to 16.3 GPa) and decrease in friction coefficient(down to 0.48) at the optimized cathode source-to-substrate distance.Under optimized conditions,CrN coatings were deposited on piston rings,with a thickness of 25 μm and hardness of 17.85 GPa.LIU Chuansheng TIAN Canxin LI Ming HE Jun YANG HuiJuan YANG Bing WANG Hong Jun FU Dejun 2010Nuclear Science and Techniques2010,21,5:1

8Simulation of two-dimensional ISAR decoys on a moving platform显示文摘It is potentially useful to perform deception jamming using the digital image synthesizer(DIS) since it can form a two-dimensional(2D) decoy but suffers from multiple decoys generation. Inspired by the intermittent sampling repeater jamming(ISRJ), the generation of inverse synthetic aperture radar(ISAR)decoys is addressed, associated with the DIS and the ISRJ. Radar pulses are sampled intermittently and modulated by the scattering model of a false target by mounting the jammer on a moving platform, and then the jamming signals are retransmitted to the radar and a train of decoys are induced after ISAR imaging. 9Hyperfine Structure of Several Soils from Western Hubei and Inner Mongolia Studied by Mossbauer Spectroscopy显示文摘Soil samples taken from Xilamuren Grassland,Resonant Sand Bay,Inner Mongolia,and Yichang,western Hubei Province were investigated by Mssbauer spectroscopy at room temperature and 20 K.This was supplemented with phase identification and elemental analysis to obtain information about the composition and structure types of Fe-containing compounds.The samples collected from both Xilamuren Grassland and Resonant Sand Bay,Inner Mongolia were found to have small amount of iron 1%-2%.The main phases were determined as silica,albite,and microcline.Two or three dominant doublets were observed in the Mssbauer spectra of these samples,respectively and identified as corresponding to the valence states of Fe2+and Fe3+.A sextet observed in all the spectra is attributed to the hematite phase.Low temperature Mssbauer measurements have revealed Morin transition.Pelenovich V O CHEN Yilong XIAO Renzheng LIU Shouyin FU Dejun 2014Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2014,19,3:0
10Effect of Annealing Temperature on CrN Microspheres Synthesized by CAP Technology显示文摘CrN microspheres were synthesized by using a cathodic arc plasma source system. The obtained samples were annealed in air at temperatures of 300-800 ℃ for 60 min. The influence of annealing temperature on the microstructure and surface morphology of the CrN microspheres was investigated. The CrN microspheres were characterized by means of scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction analysis. The results show that the CrN nanoparticles arranged into leaf-like structures before annealing. With the rising of the annealing temperature, the size of CrN crystal nanoparticals became larger. When the annealing temperature exceeded the oxidation point(500 ℃), the CrN was oxidized and the leaf-like structure was broken. 11Influence of Target-Substrate Distance and Sputtering Power on Chromium Oxide Films Prepared by Medium-Frequency Magnetron Sputtering显示文摘Chromium oxide films were deposited on Si(100) substrates by medium-frequency(MF) unbalanced magnetron sputtering at different target-substrate distances DTS(60,100,120 mm) and sputtering power(2.8,5.6,11.2 kW),respectively.The structure,surface morphologies,and microhardness of the chromium oxide films were examined by X-ray diffraction(XRD),atomic force microscopy(AFM),and microhardness tester.The results indicate that elevated MF sputtering power can improve the crystallization of the films;The DTS value affects the structure of the films by changing the preferential orientation from CrO3(221) to Cr2O3(116);The microhardness of the chromium oxide films is found to increase with the sputtering power.For preparing the Cr2O3-dominated films with comparatively high-performance,the optimized condition is the target-substrate distance of 100 mm and MF sputtering power of 11.2 kW.YANG Huijuan,HE Jun,TIAN Canxin,LIU Chuansheng,FU Dejun School of Physics and Technology,Wuhan University,Wuhan 430072,Hubei,China 2010Wuhan University Journal of Natural Sciences2010,15,5:0
12Structure and Magnetic Properties of ZnO:Cr Prepared by CrIonIm plantation into ZnO Crystals显示文摘ZnO:Cr layer was prepared by Cr ion implantation into ZnO bulk crystals. The structural, optical, and magnetic properties of the ZnO:Cr layer were studied with X-ray diffraction, photoluminescence, and superconductor quantum interferometer, respectively. The ZnO:Cr layer implanted Cr with a dose of 5 10 16 cm 2 remained wurtzite structure and exhibited near-band-edge photoluminescence at 3.365 eV with full-width at half-maximum of 8.4 meV at 10 K. The magnetic measurement showed that the ferromagnetism changed at room temperature by different Cr concentration. For samples implanted to high doses, remanent magnetization reached 1.805 10 -4 emu/g and coercive field was 244.5 Oe. Hall effect measurement showed a decrease of the resistivity from 251.7 cmto 28.6 cmafter annealing at 800 ℃. 13Transmission of Carbapenem Resistance Between Human and Animal NDM-Positive Escherichia coli Strains显示文摘Although carbapenem use is prohibited in animals in China,carbapenem-resistant Escherichia coli(CREC),especially New Delhi metallo-β-lactamase(NDM)-producing strains,are widely prevalent in foodproducing animals.At present,the impact of livestock-associated CREC strains on human populations at the national level is unknown.Here,we conduct a retrospective cross-sectional study to investigate the prevalence of CREC from clinical settings across 22 Chinese provinces or municipalities and analyze anthropogenic factors associated with their presence.We also ascertain the blaNDMand blaKPCabundance among pig and chicken farms and present a detailed genomic framework for CREC of animal and human origin.Overall,631/29799(2.1%)clinical Escherichia coli(E.coli)isolates were identified as CREC.Multivariable analysis revealed that being male,an age below 1,an age between 13 and 18,provinces with greater chicken production,and provinces with higher pig production were associated with higher odds of CREC infection.In general,73.8%(n=45/61)of pig farms and 62.2%(n=28/45)of chicken farms had a blaNDMabundance of 1×10^(-5)to 1×10^(-3)and 1×10^(-3)to 1×10^(-2),respectively.Among all the Chinese NDM-positive E.coli(n=463)available at the National Center for Biotechnology Information(NCBI),the genomic analysis revealed that blaNDM-5and Inc X3 were the predominant carbapenemase gene-plasmid combination,while a highly homogeneous relationship between NDM-positive isolates from humans and animals was demonstrated at the plasmid and core genome levels.All the findings suggest frequent CREC transmission between humans and animals,indicating that further discussions on the use of antibiotics in animals and humans are needed,both in China and across the globe.Yingbo Shen Fupin Hu Yongqiang Wang Dandan Yin Lu Yang Yiqiang Chen Chunyan Xu Jiyun Li Junyao Jiang Xueyang Wang Yulin Fu Dongyan Shao Dejun Liu Tengfei Ma Chang Cai Zhangqi Shen Shaolin Wang Juan Li Rong Zhang Yuebin Ke Congming Wu Jianzhong Shen Timothy R.Walsh Yang Wang 2022Engineering2022,8,8:0
