| 1 | Acupuncture treatment of lung-spleen Qi deficiency in stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease: a randomized, open-label, controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of acupuncture that reinforces the spleen to strengthen the lung in patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).METHODS:This was a randomized,open-controlled trial in which the acupuncturist and the participants were not blinded,but the outcome evalu-ators and data analysts were blinded.One-hundred-and-two patients with stable COPD were randomly divided into two groups in a 1∶1 ratio.The acupuncture group received 30-minute sessions of acupuncture therapy at the same acupoints three times weekly for 6 weeks in addition to routine conventional Western Medicine treatment;the control group received routine conventional Western Medicine treatment alone.The primary outcome was the Borg scale score,which was assessed immediately after the 6-minute walk test.The secondary outcomes were the 6-minute walk distance,lung function,and oxygen saturation.Measurements were obtained at baseline and after 6 weeks of treatment.RESULTS:After 6 weeks of treatment,the Borg scale score in the acupuncture group was significantly better than that in the control group(2.02±0.71 versus 5.01±0.34,P<0.05).Furthermore,the post-treatment improvements in the 6-minute walk distance,lung function,and oxygen saturation were significantly greater in the acupuncture group than in the control group,showing that the acupuncture group had better exercise tolerance.CONCLUSION:The findings suggest that acupuncture that aims to reinforce the spleen to strengthen the lung is a safe and effective adjuvant therapy that effectively improves the exercise capacity of patients with stable COPD. | Li Yu Xiong Chan Zeng Yan Wei Hua Zhuang Guangtong Zhao Lihong Li Chenyi Li Lin Qin Erqi Chen Xiaoqin Fu Juanjuan | 2019 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2019,39,6: | 13 |
| 2 | Effectiveness of Traditional Chinese Medicine on chemo-radiotherapy induced leukaemia in patients with lung cancer:a Meta-analysis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To assess the curative effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) on leukopenia induced by chemo-radiotherapy in patients with lung cancer.METHODS: A comprehensive electronic search in Medline, Embase, the Cochrane Libary database,China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database(CNKI) and Wanfang Database was conducted up to July 2017. Random-effects model was used to estimate the standardized mean differences(SMDs)with 95% confidence intervals(CIs). Eleven studies with a total of 957 patients were included in this meta-analysis.RESULTS: The effectiveness in TCM group was higher than control group [RR = 1.60, 95% CI(1.38, 1.85),P < 0.000 01]. Compare with Western Medicinegroup, the effectiveness has no significant difference [RR = 0.96, 95% CI(0.82, 1.12), P = 0.57]. | 3 | Infrared small target detection using sparse representation显示文摘Sparse representation has recently been proved to be a powerful tool in image processing and object recognition.This paper proposes a novel small target detection algorithm based on this technique.By modelling a small target as a linear combination of certain target samples and then solving a sparse 0-minimization problem,the proposed apporach successfully improves and optimizes the small target representation with innovation.Furthermore,the sparsity concentration index(SCI) is creatively employed to evaluate the coefficients of each block representation and simpfy target identification.In the detection frame,target samples are firstly generated to constitute an over-complete dictionary matrix using Gaussian intensity model(GIM),and then sparse model solvers are applied to finding sparse representation for each sub-image block.Finally,SCI lexicographical evalution of the entire image incorparates with a simple threshold locate target position.The effectiveness and robustness of the proposed algorithm are demonstrated by the exprimental results. | Jiajia Zhao ZhengyuanTang Jie Yang Erqi Liu | 2011 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2011,22,6: | 9 |

| 20 | A model for integrated spatial land use characteristics linking to surface nutrient concentration显示文摘Quantifying land use heterogeneity helps better understand how it influences biophysical systems.Land use area proportions have been used conventionally to predict water quality variables.Lacking an insight into the combined effect of various spatial characteristics could lead to the statistical bias and confused understanding in previous studies.In this study,using spatial techniques and mathematical models,a diagnostic model was developed and applied for quantifying and incorporating three spatial components,namely,slope,distance to sampling spots,and arrangement.The upper catchment of Miyun Reservoir was studied as the test area.Total nitrogen,total phosphorus,and chemical oxygen demand of water samples from field measurements were used to characterize the surface water quality in 52 sub-watersheds.Using parameter calibrations and determinations,combined spatial characteristics were explored and detected.Adjusted land use proportions were calculated by spatial weights of discriminating the relative contribution of each location to water quality and used to build the integrated models.Compared with traditional methods only using area proportions,our model increased the explanatory power of land use and quantified the effects of spatial information on water quality.This can guide the optimization of land use configuration to control water eutrophication. | Erqi Xu Hongqi Zhang | 2018 | International Journal of Digital Earth2018,11,10: | 0 |
