1Whole-genome sequencing of 508 patients identifies key molecular features associated with poor prognosis in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma显示文摘Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)is a poor-prognosis cancer type with limited understanding of its molecular etiology.Using 508 ESCC genomes,we identified five novel significantly mutated genes and uncovered mutational signature clusters associated with metastasis and patients’outcomes.Several functional assays implicated that NFE2L2 may act as a tumor suppressor in ESCC and that mutations in NFE2L2 probably impaired its tumor-suppressive function,or even conferred oncogenic activities.Additionally,we found that the NFE2L2 mutations were significantly associated with worse prognosis of ESCC.We also identified potential noncoding driver mutations including hotspot mutations in the promoter region of SLC35E2 that were correlated with worse survival.Approximately 5.9%and 15.2%of patients had high tumor mutation burden or actionable mutations,respectively,and may benefit from immunotherapy or targeted therapies.We found clinically relevant coding and noncoding genomic alterations and revealed three major subtypes that robustly predicted patients’outcomes.Collectively,we report the largest dataset of genomic profiling of ESCC useful for developing ESCC-specific biomarkers for diagnosis and treatment.Yongping Cui Hongyan Chen Ruibin Xi Heyang Cui Yahui Zhao Enwei Xu Ting Yan Xiaomei Lu Furong Huang Pengzhou Kong Yang Li Xiaolin Zhu Jiawei Wang Wenjie Zhu Jie Wang Yanchun Ma Yong Zhou Shiping Guo Ling Zhang Yiqian Liu Bin Wang Yanfeng Xi Ruifang Sun Xiao Yu Yuanfang Zhai Fang Wang Jian Yang Bin Yang Caixia Cheng Jing Liu Bin Song Hongyi Li Yi Wang Yingchun Zhang Xiaolong Cheng Qimin Zhan Yanhong Li Zhihua Liu-Show 2020Cell Research2020,30,10:19
2Optical and Radiative Properties of Aerosols during a Severe Haze Episode over the North China Plain in December 2016显示文摘The optical and radiative properties of aerosols during a severe haze episode from 15 to 22 December 2016 over Beijing, Shijiazhuang, and Jiaozuo in the North China Plain were analyzed based on the ground-based and satellite data, meteorological observations, and atmospheric environmental monitoring data. The aerosol optical depth at 500 nm was < 0.30 and increased to > 1.4 as the haze pollution developed. The ?ngstr?m exponent was > 0.80 for most of the study period. The daily single-scattering albedo was > 0.85 over all of the North China Plain on the most polluted days and was > 0.97 on some particular days. The volumes of fine and coarse mode particles during the haze event were approximately 0.05–0.21 and 0.01–0.43 μm3, respectively—that is, larger than those in the time without haze. The daily absorption aerosol optical depth was about 0.01–0.11 in Beijing, 0.01–0.13 in Shijiazhuang, and0.01–0.04 in Jiaozuo, and the average absorption ?ngstr?m exponent varied between 0.6 and 2.0. The aerosol radiative forcing at the bottom of the atmosphere varied from –23 to –227, –34 to –199, and –29 to –191 W m–2 for the whole haze period, while the aerosol radiative forcing at the top of the atmosphere varied from –4 to –98, –10 to –51,and –21 to –143 W m–2 in Beijing, Shijiazhuang, and Jiaozuo, respectively. Satellite observations showed that smoke,polluted dust, and polluted continental components of aerosols may aggravate air pollution during haze episodes. 3Large photovoltaic effect with ultrahigh open-circuit voltage in relaxor-based ferroelectric Pb(In_(1/2)Nb_(1/2))O_(3)-Pb(Mg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))O_(3)-PbTiO_(3)ceramics显示文摘Recently,the anomalous photovoltaic effect of ferroelectric materials has attracted considerable attention in the construction of efficient solar cells owing to the above-bandgap photovoltage of these materials.In this study,we investigate the anomalous photovoltaic effect of relaxor-based ferroelectric Pb(In_(1/2)Nb_(1/2))O_(3)-Pb(Mg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))O_(3)-PbTiO_(3)(PIMN-PT)ceramics with large remnant polarization and a narrow optical bandgap.Excellent photovoltaic performance with an ultrahigh open-circuit voltage of 23 V(575 V/cm)is achieved,which is higher than the open-circuit voltages of all reported polycrystalline materials with similar thickness.The phase structure,microstructure morphology,domain structure,ferroelectric and optical characteristics are analyzed,which could provide clues to the origin of the ultrahigh open-circuit voltage of PIMN-PT ceramics.The results suggest that the relaxor-based ferroelectric PIMNPT system is a potential candidate for photovoltaic solar energy conversion devices.Xudong Qi Kai Li Enwei Sun Bingqian Song Da Huo Jiaming Li Xianjie Wang Rui Zhang Bin Yang Wenwu Cao 2022Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,9:0
4Domain structure and dielectric diffusion-relaxation characteristics of ternary Pb(In_(1/2)Nb_(1/2))O_(3)-Pb(Mg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))O_(3)-PbTiO_(3)ceramics显示文摘Relaxor-based ternary Pb(In1/2Nb1/2)O_(3)-Pb(Mg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))O_(3)-PbTiO_(3)(PIN-PMN-PT)single crystals and ceramics are promis­ing candidates for high-performance electromechanical conversion devices.It is known that the domain structure and dielectric diffusion-relaxation characteristics are crucial to the excellent performances of relaxor ferroelectrics.In this work,we prepared the PIN-PMN-PT ceramics with various PIN/PMN proportions and systematically investigated their domain structure and dielec­tric diffusion-relaxation properties.The effect of PIN/PMN proportion on the domain size and dielectric diffusion-relaxation characteristics was also studied.The investigations showed that PIN-PMN-PT ceramics presented multi-type domain patterns comprising irregular island domains and regular lamellar domains.Moreover,the dependent relations of PIN/PMN proportions on the dielectric diffusion and domain size indicated that the PIN composition has a stronger lattice distortion than PMN composi­tion;increasing the PIN proportion can enhance the dielectric diffusion and decrease the domain size.Our results could deepen the understanding of structure-property relationships of multicomponent relaxor ferroelectrics and guide the design and exploration of new high-performance ferroelectric materials.Xudong Qi Kai Li Lang Bian Enwei Sun Limei Zheng Rui Zhang 2022Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2022,12,6:0
5Sm and Mn co-doped PMN-PT piezoelectric ceramics:Defect engineering strategy to achieve large d_(33)and high Q_(m)显示文摘PbTiO_(3)-based piezoelectric ceramics are key materials for developing various electromechanical transduc-ers.For high-power ultrasonic transducers,piezoelectric ceramics are required to possess large piezo-electric coefficient(d_(33))and high mechanical quality factor(Q_(m)).Although acceptor dopants can im-prove Q_(m),they also deteriorate d_(33).If suitable piezoelectricity-beneficial donor dopants can be intro-duced into acceptor-doped ceramics,it is very possible to obtain large d_(33)and high Q_(m)simultaneously in donor and acceptor co-doped ceramics.In this work,a series of x mol%Sm and y mol%Mn co-doped Pb(Mg_(1/3)Nb_(2/3))O_(3)-30PbTiO_(3)(PMN-30PT:x Sm,y Mn)ceramics were prepared by the solid-phase sintered method.The crystal structure,local domain structure and electromechanical properties were sys-tematically analyzed.Optimal performances were obtained in PMN-30PT:2.5Sm,1-2Mn ceramics with d_(33)=860-543 pC/N,Q_(m)=495-754,and dielectric loss tanδ=0.0055-0.0086.This high performance origi-nates from the combined effects of(Mn″Ti−V_(o)^(••))^(×)defect dipoles and the local structural heterogeneity.Yixiao Yang Enwei Sun Zhimin Xu Huashan Zheng Bin Yang Rui Zhang Wenwu Cao 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,6:0

7Fluorescence-based quantitative characterization of structural phase transitions in Li^(+)/Er^(3+):BaTiO_(3)ferroelectric ceramics显示文摘We propose a method to quantitatively characterize the fine phase transition processes of Li^(+)/Er^(3+):BaTiO_(3)(BLET)ferroelectric materials by observing fluorescence wavelength shift.A lithium and erbium co-doped barium titanate ferroelectric ceramic was fabricated and the down-conversion infrared fluorescence spectra of the transition^(4)I13/2→^(4)I15/2 were measured as a function of temperature.The three structural phase transition processes,namely rhombohedral-orthorhombic,orthorhombic-tetragonal,and tetragonal-cubic transformations,determined by X-ray diffraction results are accompanied by corresponding changes in the position of the fluorescence peaks,yielding an exact consistency.This contactless,non-destructive and spatially-resolved fluorescence method provides a localized quantitative analysis for the phase transition processes of BLET ceramics.As this method is based on the fluorescence peak wavelength dependence on the crystal environment,it may potentially be used to characterize the phase transitions in other ferroelectric materials.Jiaming Li Enwei Sun Yaping Ma Huashan Zheng Hua Zhao Zhiguo Zhang 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,33:0
