| 1 | Influence of high magnetic field on as-cast structure of Cu-25wt.%Ag alloys显示文摘To investigate the influence of high magnetic field (HMF) on the solidification microstructure of Cu-25wt.%Ag alloy, the Cu-25wt.%Ag alloy was prepared under HMF of 12 T, and for comparison, the alloy solidified without HMF was also fabricated. Macro and microstructures of the alloys were observed using the stereomicroscope, and scanning electron microscope, field emission scanning electron microscopy. The weight percentages of the pro-eutectic and eutectic, Cu phase and Ag phase in eutectic, and precipitates of Ag phase in pro-eutectic were analyzed by using of IPP software. Results show that the morphology of the column dendrites changes into cellular dendrites and the grains are refined under HMF of 12 T. Meanwhile, the thickness of the eutectic wall increases, but the sizes of Cu phase and Ag phase and the eutectic lamellar spacings are decreased. The Ag precipitates in the Cu matrix become coarser and sparser. The weight percentage variation of the phases in the microstructure and the Cu-Ag binary phase diagram reveals that the eutectic point moves to the left of the eutectic point in the equilibrium condition and the supersaturated solid solubility of Ag decreases under HMF. | Li Guimao Liu Yan Su Yan Wang Engang Han Ke | 2013 | China Foundry2013,10,3: | 4 |
| 2 | Preparation and SO2 Adsorption Behavior of Coconut Shell-Based Activated Carbon via Microwave-Assisted Oxidant Activation显示文摘A series of oxidants supported on coconut shell-based activated carbon(CAC) through microwave irradiation were prepared and characterized using scanning electron microscopy(SEM), N_2 adsorption/desorption analysis, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). The SO_2 adsorption capacities and rates were evaluated by adsorption tests performed in a fixed bed reactor with a simulated flue gas, and the adsorption isotherm models were validated against the experimental results. The findings revealed that the SO_2 adsorption capacity decreased in the following order: MW-K_2Cr_2O_7-CAC > MWKMnO_4-CAC > MW-H_2O_2-CAC > MW-CAC. The SO_2 adsorption capacities and adsorption rates of the samples increased with an increasing oxidizability of the oxidants owing to the increment of mean pore size and oxygen-containing functional groups. In addition, a high initial SO_2 concentration and a low bed temperature could positively affect the SO2 adsorption. | 4 | Experimental research on solidification structure of alloy 800H by linear electromagnetic stirring显示文摘The solidifi cation structures of alloy 800 H fabricated with and without linear electromagnetic stirring(L-EMS) were investigated. The results show that the solidification structure of the alloy can be obviously affected by the forced convection in melt caused by L-EMS. The average size of equiaxed grains of the alloy with L-EMS decreases from 3.5 mm to 2.3 mm, and the ratio of equiaxed grain increases from 5% to 43% compared with that without L-EMS. The microstructure of the alloy without L-EMS is composed of f ine equiaxed dendrites in the outermost layer and columnar dendrites in other areas, whereas that with L-EMS contains equiaxed dendrites, columnar dendrites and cross dendrites.
