1The Medium Energy X-ray telescope (ME) onboard the Insight-HXMT astronomy satellite显示文摘The Medium Energy X-ray telescope(ME) is one of the three main telescopes on board the Insight hard X-ray modulation telescope(Insight-HXMT) astronomy satellite. ME contains 1728 pixels of Si-PIN detectors sensitive in 5-30 ke V with a total geometrical area of 952 cm^2. The application specific integrated circuit(ASIC) chip, VA32TA6, is used to achieve low power consumption and low readout noise. The collimators define three kinds of field of views(FOVs) for the telescope, 1°×4°, 4°×4°,and blocked ones. Combination of such FOVs can be used to estimate the in-orbit X-ray and particle background components.The energy resolution of ME is ~3 ke V at 17.8 ke V(FWHM) and the time resolution is 255 μs. 2Enhancement of oxygen reduction reaction activity by grain boundaries in platinum nanostructures显示文摘Systematic control of grain boundary densities in various platinum(Pt)nanostructures was achieved by specific peptide-assisted assembly and coagulation of nanocrystals.A positive quadratic correlation was observed between the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)specific activities of the Pt nanostructures and the grain boundary densities on their surfaces.Compared to commercial Pt/C,the grain-boundary-rich strain-free Pt ultrathin nanoplates demonstrated a 15.5 times higher specific activity and a 13.7 times higher mass activity.Simulation studies suggested that the specific activity of ORR was proportional to the resident number and the resident time of oxygen on the catalyst surface,both of which correlate positively with grain boundary density,leading to improved ORR activities.Enbo Zhu Wang Xue Shiyi Wang Xucheng Yan Jingxuan Zhou Yang Liu Jin Cai Ershuai Liu Qingying Jia Xiangfeng Duan Yujing Li Hendrik Heinz Yu Huang 2020Nano Research2020,13,12:3

7Estimating divergence times among subfamilies in Nymphalidae显示文摘The mitochondrial cytochrome oxidase subunit I (COI) gene and the nuclear elongation factor 1α (EF-1α) gene were sequenced from 13 species of Nymphalidae. Phylogenetic trees of Nymphalidae, which is the largest family in butterflies, were constructed based on the sequences determined from 13 species sequenced in our laboratory and an additional 43 species obtained from GenBank using the maximum likelihood (ML) and Bayesian methods. Relative-rate tests between lineages in these phylogenetic trees were performed. On the basis of the results of the relative-rate tests and fossil information of Satyrinae, Nymphalinae and Biblidinae, the average divergence times among the subfamilies are estimated as 44.2—87.1 million years ago (Ma). 8A Theoretical Model for the Microwave Emissivity of Rough Sea Surfaces显示文摘When sea surface wavelengths are not larger than microwave wavelengths,the microwave emissivity of Gaussian rough sea surfaces can be investigated by applying effective media theory(EMT)of rough surfaces.For one-dimensional Gaussian sea surface,the microwave emissivity model is proposed by EMT,which regards the air-sea rough interface as a new effective medium of isotropic permittivity between the top layer of air and the bottom layer of seawater.The emissivity model is controlled by the root mean square deviation(RMSD)of the rough surface height and the correlation length of the rough surface.Results clearly show that the emissivity increases along with the RMSD increase if the latter is smaller than a critical value.Furthermore,excess emissivities and the brightness temperature increments for a wind-roughened sea surface can be estimated from those of flat surfaces by fitting the RMSD as a function of wind speed.Good agreements are obtained by comparing the results of our model with the satellite data at microwave frequencies of 1.4,6.8,18,21,and 37 GHz,respectively.Moreover,these findings imply that our method can be extended to retrieve the sea surface parameters,such as RMSD and the correlation length of the rough surface,from the satellite data.YANG Zhenlin WEI Enbo GAO Peng 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,6:0
