| 1 | A strategy for generating rice apomixis by gene editing显示文摘Apomixis is an asexual reproduction way of plants that can produce clonal offspring through seeds.In this study,we introduced apomixis into rice(Oryza sativa)by mutating OsSPO11-1,OsREC8,OsOSD1,and OsMATL through a CRISPR/Cas9 system.The quadruple mutant showed a transformation from meiosis to mitosis and produced clonal diploid gametes.With mutated Osmatl,which gives rise to haploid induction in plants,the quadruple mutant is expected to be able to be produced apomictic diploid offspring.We named this quadruple mutant as AOP(Apomictic Offspring Producer)for its ability to produce apomictic offspring. | En Xie Yafei Li Ding Tang Yanli Lv Yi Shen Zhukuan Cheng | 2019 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2019，61，8： | 6 |
| 2 | Genetic structure and diversity of Oryza sativa L. in Guizhou,China显示文摘Preserving many kinds of rice resources and rich variations, Guizhou Province is one of the districts with the highest genetic diversity of cultivated rice (Oryza sativa L.) in China. In the current research, genetic diversity and structure of 537 accessions of cultivated rice from Guizhou were studied using 36 microsatellite markers and 39 phenotypic characters. The results showed that the model-based genetic structure was the same as genetic-distance-based one using SSRs but somewhat different from the documented classification (mainly based on phenotype) of two subspecies. The accessions being classified into indica by phenotype but japonica by genetic structure were much more than that being classified into japonica by phenotype but indica by genetic structure. Like Ding Ying’s taxonomic sys- tem of cultivated rice, the subspecific differentiation was the most distinct differentiation within culti- vated rice. But the differentiation within indica or japonica population was different: japonica presented clearer differentiation between soil-watery ecotypes than indica, and indica presented clearer differen- tiation between seasonal ecotypes than japonica. Cultivated rices in Guizhou revealed high genetic diversity at both DNA and phenotypic levels. | 3 | Rapid growth of a large-scale(600 mm aperture) KDP crystal and its optical quality显示文摘Potassium dihydrogen phosphate(KDP) single crystals are the only nonlinear crystals currently used for electro-optic switches and frequency converters in inertial confinement fusion research, due to their large dimension and exclusive physical properties. Based on the traditional solution-growth process, large bulk KDP crystals, usually with sizes up to600 × 600 mm2 so as to make a frequency doubler for the facility requirement loading highly flux of power laser, can be grown in standard Holden-type crystallizers, without spontaneous nucleation and visible defects, one to two orders of magnitude faster than by conventional methods. Pure water and KDP raw material with a few ion impurities such as Fe,Cr, and Al(less than 0.1 ppm) were used. The rapid-growth method includes extreme conditions such as temperature range from 60 to 35℃ , overcooling up to 5℃ , growth rates exceeding 10 mm/day, and crystal size up to 600 mm. The optical parameters of KDP crystals were determined. The final R = 0.0702 and wR = 0.1524 for 1847 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I), and R = 0.0873 and wR = 0.1664 for all data.
