| 1 | Tribological Properties of Nanostructured Al/Al_(12)(Fe,V)_3Si Alloys显示文摘Tribological behavior of nanostructured pure Al and Al–Al12(Fe,V)3Si alloys containing 27(FVS0812) and 37(FVS1212) vol% of Al12(Fe,V)3Si precipitates was investigated. All samples were prepared using mechanical alloying followed by hot pressing. Wear tests were performed at room temperature using a pin-on-disk machine. Results showed that the presence of Al12(Fe,V)3Si precipitates increases the wear resistance of nanostructured Al, and the wear resistance increases with increasing the Al12(Fe,V)3Si content. Scanning electron microscopy images of worn surfaces and wear debris demonstrated that abrasion and adhesion are the governing wear mechanisms for the nanostructured FVS0812 alloy at 2 and 5 N normal loads, whereas for the nanostructured FVS1212 alloy, the dominant wear mechanism is abrasion at these loads. A mechanically mixed layer(MML) containing Fe and O was formed on the worn surfaces of FVS0812 and FVS1212 samples at 10 N normal load. Formation and delamination of MML controls the wear behavior of these samples at the normal load of 10 N. | 2 | Life Cycle Assessment modeling of milk production in Iran显示文摘Livestock units are known as one of the most influential sectors in the environment pollution.Therefore,the aim of this study was to investigate the environmental impacts of milk production in Guilan province of Iran through Life Cycle Assessment(LCA)methodology.The primary data were collected from 45 units of milk production through a field survey with the help of a structured questionnaire.The reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient and was estimated an acceptable value of 0.91.The consumption of resources and emissions were allocated to a functional unit(FU)of one ton of milk.Impacts of emissions in five impact categories of global warming,acidification,eutrophication,photochemical oxidation and depletion of resources were investigated.The results showed that the characterization index for these impact categories were 1831 kg CO2 eq,7.97 kg SO2 eq,3.42 kg PO4^-3 eq,0.21 kg C2H4 eq and 838.39 MJ,respectively.Final indices for these impact categories were calculated as 0.24,0.28,0.076,0.017 and 0.046,respectively.Environmental index(EcoX)and resources depletion index(RDI)were obtained 0.61 and 0.04,respectively.In this study,the highest potential for environmental impacts of production revealed for acidification and followed by global warming impact category. | Hamzeh Soltanali Bagher Emadi Abbas Rohani Mehdi Khojastehpour Amin Nikkhah | 2015 | Information Processing in Agriculture2015,2,2: | 4 |

| 4 | Fabrication and characterization of nanocrystalline Al/Al_(12)(Fe,V)_3Si alloys by consolidation of mechanically alloyed powders显示文摘The aim of this study was to produce bulk nanocrystalline Al/Al_(12)(Fe,V)_3Si alloys by mechanical alloying(MA) and subsequent hot pressing(HP) of elemental powders.A nanostructured Al-based solid solution was formed by MA of elemental powders for 60 h.After HP of the as-milled powders at 550℃ for 20 min,the Al_(12)(Fe,V)_3Si phase was precipitated in a nanocrystalline Al matrix.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) images of the bulk samples represented a homogeneous and uniform microstructure that was superior to those previously obtained by rapid solidification-powder metallurgy(RS-PM).Nanostructured Al-8.5Fe-1.3V-1.7Si and Al-11.6Fe-1.3V-2.3Si alloys exhibited high HV hardness values of^205 and ~254,respectively,which are significantly higher than those reported for the RS-PM counterparts. | Hamid Ashrafi Rahmatollah Emadi Mohammad Hosein Enayati | 2014 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2014,21,7: | 2 |
