2239名高中男生儿童期性虐待调查显示文摘目的 :了解高中男生中儿童期性虐待发生情况 ,探讨性虐待经历对学生心理健康的影响。方法 :用自填式问卷 ,对某中学以班级为单位整群抽取的 2 39名高中男生就有关儿童期性虐待经历进行不记名横断面回顾性调查。结果 :在被调查的 2 39名男生中 ,有 5 5人 ( 2 3 0 % )报告 16岁前曾经历过非情愿的或非身体接触或身体接触的性虐待 ;其中 3人 ( 1 3% )经历过被试图性交 ,2人 ( 0 8% )经历过被强行性交。49 1%的儿童期性虐待首次发生年龄在 11岁及以下。与没有儿童期性虐待经历的男生比较 ,有儿童期性虐待经历的男生抑郁情绪量表得分高 ;自尊量表得分和健康状况自我感觉评价得分低 ,差异有显著性。结论 :本研究结果提示我们应重视男童中儿童性虐待问题的研究 ;儿童期性虐待经历是影响受害者心理健康的一个重要因素。陈晶琦 王兴文 Michael P. 3中国6省市2508名大学生儿童期性虐待经历回顾性调查显示文摘目的 了解大学生中儿童期性虐待发生情况,探讨性虐待经历与大学生心理健康的关联.方法 采用自填式问卷,于2003年11月至2004年3月对北京、河北、山西、江苏、陕西、安徽6省市6所普通高校中2508名大学生(女生1360人,男生1148人)童年期性虐待经历进行不记名回顾性调查.结果 2508名大学生中,有24.8%的女生和17.6%的男生报告16岁前曾经历过1项或1项以上的性虐待,其中包括非身体接触的性虐待(女生20.0%,男生14.6%)和包括触摸在内的身体接触的性虐待(女生14.1%,男生7.8%).儿童期性虐待经历与是否为独生子女、家庭居住地是农村还是非农村、父母亲文化程度等没有明显的关联.与没有童年期性虐待经历的学生比较,有童年期性虐待经历的学生躯体化症状、强迫症状、人际关系敏感、抑郁、焦虑、敌对、恐怖、偏执、精神病性症状等因子均分偏高.结论 童年期性虐待经历与大学生心理健康问题相关.陈晶琦 韩萍 连光利 Michael P. 5Longwall automation: Delivering enabling technology to achieve safer and more productive underground mining显示文摘The ongoing need to deliver improved safety, productivity and environmental benefit in coal mining presents an open challenge as well as a powerful incentive to develop new and improved solutions.This paper assesses the critical role that enabling technologies have played in the delivery of remote and automated capability for longwall mining. A brief historical account is given to highlight key technical contributions which have influenced the direction and development of present-day longwall technology. The current state of longwall automation is discussed with particular attention drawn to the technologies that enable automated capability. Outcomes are presented from an independently conducted case study that assessed the impact that CSIRO's LASC longwall automation research has made to the longwall mining industry in Australia. Importantly, this study reveals how uptake of this innovative technology has significantly benefitted coal mine productivity, improved working conditions for personnel and enhanced environmental outcomes. These benefits have been widely adopted with CSIRO automation technology being used in 60 per cent of all Australian underground operations.International deployment of the technology is also emerging. 7Effect of microporosity on scaffolds for bone tissue engineering显示文摘Microporosity has a critical role in improving the osteogenesis of scaffolds for bone tissue engineering.Although the exact mechanism,by which it promotes new bone formation,is not well recognized yet,the related hypothesis can be found in many previous studies.This review presents those possible mechanisms about how the microporosity enhances the osteogenic-related functions of cells in vitro and the osteogenic activity of scaffolds in vivo.In summary,the increased specific surface areas by microporosity can offer more protein adsorption sites and accelerate the release of degradation products,which facilitate the interactions between scaffolds and cells.Meanwhile,the unique surface properties of microporous scaffolds have a considerable effect on the protein adsorption.Moreover,capillary force generated by the microporosity can improve the attachment of bone-related cells on the scaffolds surface,and even make the cells achieve penetration into the micropores smaller than them.This review also pays attention to the relationship between the biological and mechanical properties of microporous scaffolds.Although lots of achievements have been obtained,there is still a lot of work to do,some of which has been proposed in the conclusions and perspectives part.Ke Zhang Yubo Fan Nicholas Dunne Xiaoming Li 2018Regenerative Biomaterials2018,5,2:15
8First China ocean reflection experiment using coastal GNSS-R显示文摘It is a new way for oceanographic remote sensing using the GNSS-Reflection technique. Sea waves, tides and sea surface wind can be obtained by analyzing the direct and reflected GPS signals from sea surface. It has become an advanced field concerned by many researchers. In this paper the first China Ocean Reflection Experiment (CORE) with the coastal GNSS-R in the southeast is reported and the method to retrieve oceanographic parameters with the direct and reflected GPS signals is studied. 9Type 2 diabetes after gestational diabetes: The influence of changing diagnostic criteria显示文摘A previous diagnosis of gestational diabetes(GDM)carries a lifetime risk of progression to type 2 diabetes of up to 60%.Identification of those women at higher risk of progression to diabetes allows the timely introduction of measures to delay or prevent diabetes onset.However,there is a large degree of variability in the literature with regard to the proportion of women with a history of GDM who go on to develop diabetes.Heterogeneity between cohorts with regard to diagnostic criteria used,duration of follow-up,and the characteristics of the study population limit the ability to make meaningful comparisons across studies.As the new International Association for Diabetes in Pregnancy Study Group criteria are increasingly adopted worldwide,the prevalence of GDM is set to increase by two-to three-fold.Here,we review the literature to examine the evolution of diagnostic criteria for GDM,the implications of changing criteria on the proportion of women with previous GDM progressing to diabetes,and how the use of different diagnostic criteria may influence the development of appropriate follow-up strategies.Eoin Noctor Fidelma P Dunne 2015World Journal of Diabetes2015,6,2:14
10Low-dose metformin treatment in the subacute phase improves the locomotor function of a mouse model of spinal cord injury显示文摘Metformin,a first-line drug for type-2 diabetes,has been shown to improve locomotor recovery after spinal cord injury.However,there are studies reporting no beneficial effect.Recently,we found that high dose of metformin(200 mg/kg,intraperitoneal)and acute phase administration(immediately after injury)led to increased mortality and limited locomotor function recovery.Consequently,we used a lower dose(100 mg/kg,i.p.)metformin in mice,and compared the effect of immediate administration after spinal cord injury(acute phase)with that of administration at 3 days post-injury(subacute phase).Our data showed that metformin treatment starting at the subacute phase significantly improved mouse locomotor function evaluated by Basso Mouse Scale(BMS)scoring.Immunohistochemical studies also revealed significant inhibitions of microglia/macrophage activation and astrogliosis at the lesion site.Furthermore,metformin treatment at the subacute phase reduced neutrophil infiltration.These changes were in parallel with the increased survival rate of spinal neurons in animals treated with metformin.These findings suggest that low-dose metformin treatment for subacute spinal cord injury can effectively improve the functional recovery possibly through anti-inflammation and neuroprotection.This study was approved by the Institute Animal Care and Use Committee at the University of Texas Medical Branch(approval No.1008041C)in 2010.Wen-Ye Song Han Ding Tiffany Dunn Jun-Ling Gao Javier Allende Labastida Caitlin Schlagal Guang-Zhi Ning Shi-Qing Feng Ping Wu 2021Neural Regeneration Research2021,16,11:12
11Effect of embedded voltage source converter on power system oscillation damping显示文摘This paper presents the damping torque analysis of power system oscillation stability as affected by the dynamic and control functions of an embedded voltage source converter(VSC).The objective of the study is to explain why and how the dynamic and basic control functions of the embedded VSC,ac and dc voltage regulation,provide damping to power system oscillations.The most important conclusion obtained in the paper is that both the dynamics and the dc voltage control of the VSC contribute a variable damping torque,which can be positive or negative,at different levels of system load conditions.More positive damping torque can be provided by the VSC at a heavier load condition.There exists a point of system load condition where the VSC provides no damping torque to power system oscillation hence dose not impose any influence on power system oscillation stability.The VSC studied in the paper can be the power-electronics-based interface of various FACTS(flexible ac transmission systems) devices,energy storage systems and renewable power generation units,although the focus of the discussion presented in this paper is the effect of the dynamics and basic control functions of the VSC themselves on power system oscillation damping.To demonstrate the analytical conclusions obtained in the paper,results of eigenvalue computation and nonlinear simulation of an example power system with STATCOM(static synchronous compensator) are given.R DUNN 2010Science China(Technological Sciences)2010,53,4:10
12学校卫生人员预防儿童性虐待知识态度及教育状况显示文摘目的 了解学校卫生人员预防儿童性虐待知识态度及教育活动。 方法 对 74名来自 1 3个省、市、自治区的学校卫生人员进行了不记名问卷调查。结果 97.3%的被调查人员赞成学校开展预防儿童性侵犯教育 ;学校卫生人员对儿童性侵犯问题有所了解 ,但仍有近半数人员缺少预防儿童性侵犯基本知识 ,在 1 4名担任小学健康教育课的老师中 ,只有 3人回答给学生讲过人身体的隐私部位是不能随便被人看到和触摸的。比较多的被调查人员认为有关预防儿童性侵犯教育内容“人身体各部分的名称”“好的接触和坏的接触”“与他人交往原则”“安全注意事项”等应该从小学 1、2年级开始讲。 结论 大多数学校卫生人员对学校预防儿童性侵犯教育持支持态度 ;应重视小学预防儿童性侵犯的教育以及对学校卫生人员有关预防儿童性侵犯教育基本知识和技能的培训。陈晶琦 Michael P Dunne 韩萍 2004中国校医2004,18,6:9
13Factors that mediate colonization of the human stomach by Helicobacter pylori显示文摘Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)colonizes the stomach of humans and causes chronic infection.The majority of bacteria live in the mucus layer overlying the gastric epithelial cells and only a small proportion of bacteria are found interacting with the epithelial cells.The bacteria living in the gastric mucus may act as a reservoir of infection for the underlying cells which is essential for the development of disease.Colonization of gastric mucus is likely to be key to the establishment of chronic infection.How H.pylori manages to colonise and survive in the hostile environment of the human stomach and avoid removal by mucus flow and killing by gastric acid is the subject of this review.We also discuss how bacterial and host factors may together go some way to explaining the susceptibility to colonization and the outcome of infection in different individuals.H.pylori infection of the gastric mucosa has become a paradigm for chronic infection.Understanding of why H.pylori is such a successful pathogen may help us understand how other bacterial species colonise mucosal surfaces and cause disease.Ciara Dunne Brendan Dolan Marguerite Clyne 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,19:8
14Radiofrequency ablation for early oesophageal squamous neoplasia:Outcomes form United Kingdom registry显示文摘AIM:To report outcomes on patients undergoing radiofrequency ablation(RFA)for early oesophageal squamous neoplasia from a National Registry.METHODS:A Prospective cohort study from 8 tertiary referral centres in the United Kingdom.Patients with squamous high grade dysplasia(HGD)and early squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)confined to the mucosa were treated.Visible lesions were removed by endoscopic mucosal resection(EMR)before RFA.Following initial RFA treatment,patients were followed up 3monthly.Residual flat dysplasia was treated with RFA until complete reversal dysplasia(CR-D)was achieved or progression to invasive Squamous cell cancer defined as infiltration into the submucosa layer or beyond.The main outcome measures were CR-D at 12 mo from start of treatment,long term durability,progression to cancer and adverse events.RESULTS:Twenty patients with squamous HGD/ESCC completed treatment protocol.Five patients(25%)had EMR before starting RFA treatment.CR-D was 50%at12 mo with a median of 1 RFA treatment,mean 1.5(range 1-3).Two further patients achieved CR-D with repeat RFA after this time.Eighty per cent with CR-D remain dysplasia free at latest biopsy,with median follow up 24 mo(IQR 17-54).Six of 20 patients(30%)progressed to invasive cancer at 1 year.Four patients(20%)required endoscopic dilatations for symptomatic structuring after treatment.Two of these patients have required serial dilatations thereafter for symptomatic dysphagia with a median of 4 dilatations per patient.The other 2 patients required only a single dilatation to achieve an adequate symptomatic response.One patient developed cancer during follow up after end of treatment protocol.CONCLUSION:The role of RFA in these patients re-mains unclear.In our series 50%patients responded at12 mo.These figures are lower than limited published data.Rehan J Haidry Mohammed A Butt Jason Dunn Matthew Banks Abhinav Gupta Howard Smart Pradeep Bhandari Lesley Ann Smith Robert Willert Grant Fullarton Morris John Massimo Di Pietro Ian Penman Marco Novelli Laurence B Lovat 2013World Journal of Gastroenterology2013,19,36:7

17A critical examination of compound stability predictions from machine-learned formation energies显示文摘Machine learning has emerged as a novel tool for the efficient prediction of material properties,and claims have been made that machine-learned models for the formation energy of compounds can approach the accuracy of Density Functional Theory(DFT).The models tested in this work include five recently published compositional models,a baseline model using stoichiometry alone,and a structural model.By testing seven machine learning models for formation energy on stability predictions using the Materials Project database of DFT calculations for 85,014 unique chemical compositions,we show that while formation energies can indeed be predicted well,all compositional models perform poorly on predicting the stability of compounds,making them considerably less useful than DFT for the discovery and design of new solids.Most critically,in sparse chemical spaces where few stoichiometries have stable compounds,only the structural model is capable of efficiently detecting which materials are stable.The nonincremental improvement of structural models compared with compositional models is noteworthy and encourages the use of structural models for materials discovery,with the constraint that for any new composition,the ground-state structure is not known a priori.This work demonstrates that accurate predictions of formation energy do not imply accurate predictions of stability,emphasizing the importance of assessing model performance on stability predictions,for which we provide a set of publicly available tests.Christopher J.Bartel Amalie Trewartha Qi Wang Alexander Dunn Anubhav Jain Gerbrand Ceder 2020npj Computational Materials2020,,1:7
