1On the improved tensile strength and ductility of Mg-Sn-Zn-Mn alloy processed by aging prior to extrusion显示文摘This study investigated the influence of aging prior to extrusion(APE)on the tensile strength and ductility of as-extruded Mg-8.32Sn-1.85Zn-0.17Mn alloy.Results demonstrated that APE treatment dramatically increased the volume fraction of recrystallized grains,thereby decreasing the grain size of the as-extruded alloy.This phenomenon was primarily attributed to the particle-stimulated nucleation and pinning effect induced by large amounts of small Mg 2 Sn precipitates produced by the APE treatment and dynamic precipitation.The tensile yield strength increased from 242.4 MPa to 256.5 MPa after APE treatment.The improved tensile strength can be attributed to the enhanced grain boundary strengthening and precipitation strengthening.The ductility of the as-extruded alloy also markedly increased from 7.1%to 13.5%after the APE treatment.The improved ductility of APE alloy was attributed to the texture randomization,the activity of pyramidalslip and the suppressed formation of{10-11}contraction twins and coarse Mg 2 Sn phases.Liping Zhong Yongjian Wang Yuchen Dou 2019Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2019,7,4:8
2Role of endoplasmic reticulum stress in the loss of retinal ganglion cells in diabetic retinopathy显示文摘Endoplasmic reticulum stress is closely involved in the early stage of diabetic retinopathy.In the present study,a streptozotocin-induced diabetic animal model was given an intraperitoneal injection of tauroursodeoxycholic acid.Results from immunofluorescent co-localization experiments showed that both caspase-12 protein and c-Jun N-terminal kinase 1 phosphorylation levels significantly increased,which was associated with retinal ganglion cell death in diabetic retinas.The C/ERB homologous protein pathway directly contributed to glial reactivity,and was subsequently responsible for neuronal loss and vascular abnormalities in diabetic retinopathy.Our experimental findings indicate that endoplasmic reticulum stress plays an important role in diabetes-induced retinal neuronal loss and vascular abnormalities,and that inhibiting the activation of the endoplasmic reticulum stress pathway provides effective protection against diabetic retinopathy.Liping Yang Lemeng Wu Dongmei Wang Ying Li Hongliang Dou Mark O.M.Tso Zhizhong Ma 2013Neural Regeneration Research2013,8,33:7
3Preparation of YSZ solid electrolyte by slip casting and its properties显示文摘Fully stabilized YSZ solid electrolyte was prepared by slip casting. The density was measured according to the Archimedes principle and the linear shrinkage was calculated from measuring the sizes of samples before and after sintering. XRD analysis was conducted to verify the phase structure of both the starting YSZ powder and the prepared YSZ electrolyte. The microstructure of fracture surface and the electrical properties of the samples sintered at different temperatures were investigated via SEM and a complex impedance method, respectively. By comparison of the properties and features among the samples, a slip casting method was established to be a simple way to manufacture high-quality YSZ electrolyte at the sintering temperature of 1550°C for 3 h, which provides a new approach for YSZ electrolyte with complex shapes and mass production.DOU Jinga LI Heping XU Liping ZHANG Lei WANG Guangwei 2009Rare Metals2009,28,4:5
4Preparation of CuCr alloys by thermit-reduction electromagnetic stirring显示文摘The influences of the additive CaF2, different molds, mold pre-heating temperature, electromagnetic stirring, and alloying elements on CuCr have been investigated respectively during the preparation of CuCr alloys by thermit-reduction electromagnetic stirring. The results indicate that the reasonable reactant mass ratio of CuO: Cr2O3: Al is 100:140:160; CaF2 can reduce the solidifica- tion point of slags to improve the metal separating efficiency from slags; the crystal particles become thinner because of the high cooling velocity in the metal mold; while casting in the graphite mold, the casting properties of CuCr improve with the increase of pre-heating temperature; the compact alloys are prepared at 500°C; electromagnetic stirring can prevent the growth of dendrite crys- tal into refine crystal particles, as well as homogenize Cu and Cr to improve the CuCr properties; the optimal stirring time is 7 min; when the alloying elements Ni and Co are added to the reactants, elements Cu and Cr can distribute evenly but the crystal particles become thick.Zhihe Dou Tingan Zhang Haien Yu Liping Niu Xiaoli Jiang Huan Yang 2007Journal of University of Science and Technology Beijing2007,14,6:4

10Next-generation sequencing revealed factors associated with cumulative incidence of relapse and leukemia-free survival in patients with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia显示文摘BackgroundSeveral prognostic biomarkers have been validated for acute myeloid leukemia(AML),a heterogeneous hematopoietic malignancy.However,the factors associated with the cumulative incidence of relapse(CIR)and leukemia-free survival(LFS)in real-world patients with AML have not been well defined.MethodsThis study examined clinical and mutational data of 246 patients with newly diagnosed AML who received the traditional“3+7”regimen in PLA General Hospital from January 2008 to August 2020.Factors associated with CIR and LFS in patients newly diagnosed with AML were analyzed using next-generation sequencing.ResultsAdditional sex combs-like 1(ASXL1)and Serine/arginine-rich splicing factor 2(SRSF2)mutations were found to be associated with an increased risk of CIR and a reduced LFS in univariate analysis,while only SRSF2 mutations were associated with these factors in the multivariate analysis.Hyperleukocytosis maintained an independent effect on LFS in the multivariate analysis.Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation conferred a significant prognostic benefit on both CIR and LFS in our cohort.Furthermore,we validated the risk classification of patients with AML receiving traditional induction regimens across a broad age range.Based on next-generation sequencing results,we concluded that SRSF2 mutations were predictive of an increased risk of relapse,inferior LFS rates,and non-relapse mortality in patients with newly diagnosed AML.ConclusionThese findings indicate that patients with SRSF2 mutations might not benefit from the conventional“3+7”regimen.Our results may help in developing molecular stratification strategies and could guide treatment decisions for patients with newly diagnosed AML.Sai Huang Peng Chen Lu Wang Lingmin Xu Mingyu Jia Jing Chen Nan Wang Fei Li Lixia Liu Jiayue Qin Chengcheng Wang Shanbo Cao Liping Dou Daihong Liu 2023Cancer Pathogenesis and Therapy2023,1,1:0

12Next-generation sequencing reveals relapse and leukemia-free survival risks in newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia treated with CAG regimen combined with decitabine显示文摘Background:Acute myeloid leukemia(AML)is a heterogeneous hematopoietic malignancy whose prognosis is associated with several biomarkers.Decitabine,a deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA)methyltransferase(DNMT)in-hibitor,combined with cytarabine,aclarubicin hydrochloride,and granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(DCAG),has been used in patients newly diagnosed with AML.This regimen has been especially used in older and fragile patients who are immunocompromised or have co-morbidities,as well as those with specific gene mutations.However,the integration of molecular risk stratification and treatment guidance for the DCAG regimen has not been well defined.Therefore,this study aimed to investigate the genetic mutations associated with AML and establish appropriate treatment strategies for patients newly diagnosed with AML.Methods:This study analyzed the clinical data and genetic mutations based on next-generation sequencing(NGS)in 124 newly diagnosed patients with AML who received the DCAG regimen at the People's Liberation Army(PLA)General Hospital from January 2008 to August 2020.Factors associated with the cumulative incidence of relapse(CIR)and leukemia-free survival(LFS)in patients newly diagnosed with AML were analyzed.Results:The most adverse prognosis of DCAG-treated patients was observed in those with FLT3-ITD,KIT,PTPN11,GATA2,or IDH1 mutations during univariable analysis,whereas PTPN11 mutation was solely significant in multivariable analysis,with an increased likelihood of CIR(P=0.001)and reduced LFS duration(P=0.077).Hyperleukocytosis was maintained as an independent risk factor for increased CIR risk(P=0.044)and decreased LFS duration(P=0.042)in multivariable analysis.In this study,we validated the risk classification of patients with AML receiving an epigenetic modifier-based induction regimen across a broad age range.Conclusion:NGS demonstrated a dismal overall outcome in patients with the rare PTPN11 mutations,indicating the need for new therapies that target this high-risk subtype of AML.These results offer a potential molecular stratification and treatment guidance for patients with AML.Sai Huang Peng Chen Lu Wang Lingmin Xu Nan Wang Fei Li Liping Dou Daihong Liu 2024Cancer Pathogenesis and Therapy2024,2,2:0
