5Key techniques for 5G wireless communications:network architecture, physical layer,and MAC layer perspectives显示文摘The fourth generation(4G) mobile communication systems are offering service worldwide steadily.Although 4G systems could be loaded with much more services and data than previous systems, there is still a dramatic gap between the people's practical requirements and what can be offered by the 4G technologies.Consequently, the research and development for the fifth generation(5G) systems have already been started. This article presents an overview of potential network architecture and highlights several promising techniques which could be employed in the future 5G systems. These techniques include non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA),massive multiple input and multiple output(MIMO), cooperative communications and network coding, full duplex(FD), device-to-device(D2D) communications, millimeter wave communications, automated network organization, cognitive radio(CR), and green communications. 6Molecular subtyping and genomic profiling expand precision medicine in refractory metastatic triple-negative breast cancer:the FUTURE trial显示文摘Triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)is a highly heterogeneous disease,and molecular subtyping may result in improved diagnostic precision and targeted therapies.Our previous study classified TNBCs into four subtypes with putative therapeutic targets.Here,we conducted the FUTURE trial(ClinicalTrials.gov identifer:NCT03805399),a phaseⅠb/Ⅱsubtyping-based and genomic biomarker-guided umbrella trial,to evaluate the efficacy of these targets.Patients with refractory metastatic TNBC were enrolled and stratifed by TNBC subtypes and genomic biomarkers,and assigned to one of these seven arms:(A)pyrotinib with capecitabine,(B)androgen receptor inhibitor with CDK4/6 inhibitor,(C)anti PD-1 with nab-paclitaxel,(D)PARP inhibitor included,(E)and(F)anti-VEGFR included,or(G)mTOR inhibitor with nab paclitaxel.The primary end point was the objective response rate(ORR).We enrolled 69 refractory metastatic TNBC patients with a median of three previous lines of therapy(range,1-8).Objective response was achieved in 20(29.0%,95%confidence interval(CI):18.7%-41.2%)of the 69 intention-to-treat(ITT)patients.Our results showed that immunotherapy(arm C),in particular,achieved the highest ORR(52.6%,95%CI:28.9%-75.6%)in the ITT population.Arm E demonstrated favorable ORR(26.1%,95%C:10.2%-48.4%in the ITT population)but with more high grade(23)adverse events.Somatic mutations of TOP2A and CD8 immunohistochemical score may have the potential to predict immunotherapy response in the immunomodulatory subtype of TNBC.In conclusion,the phaseⅠb/ⅡFUTURE trial suggested a new concept for TNBC treatment,demonstrating the clinical beneft of subtyping-based targeted therapy for refractory metastatic TNBC.Yi-Zhou Jiang Yin Liu Yi Xiao Xin Hu Lin Jiang Wen-ia Zuo Ding Ma Jiahan Ding Xiaoyu Zhu Jianjun Zou Claire Verschraegen Daniel G.Stover Virginia Kaklamani Zhong-Hua Wang Zhi-Ming Shao 2021Cell Research2021,31,2:37

8Contemporary crustal movement of continental China obtained by global positioning system(GPS) measurements显示文摘We obtain a unified horizontal velocity field of continental China and vicinity through measurements at 81 GPS stations provided by the National Key Infrastructure Project, Crustal Movement Observation Network of China. The velocity field delineates patterns of movements and deformation of active crustal blocks in continental China under the Eurasia-fixed reference frame. The space-based geodesy also clearly shows for the first time the horizontal movementand deformation of continental China induced by indentation of the Indian plate. 11Removal characteristics of microplastics by Fe-based coagulants during drinking water treatment显示文摘Microplastics have caused great concern worldwide recently due to their ubiquitous presence within the marine environment. Up to now, most attention has been paid to their sources,distributions, measurement methods, and especially their eco-toxicological effects. With microplastics being increasingly detected in freshwater, it is urgently necessary to evaluate their behaviors during coagulation and ultrafiltration(UF) processes. Herein, the removal behavior of polyethylene(PE), which is easily suspended in water and is the main component of microplastics, was investigated with commonly used Fe-based salts. Results showed that although higher removal efficiency was induced for smaller PE particles, low PE removal efficiency(below 15%) was observed using the traditional coagulation process, and was little influenced by water characteristics. In comparison to solution pH, PAM addition played a more important role in increasing the removal efficiency, especially anionic PAM at high dosage(with efficiency up to 90.9%). The main reason was ascribed to the dense floc formation and high adsorption ability because of the positively charged Fe-based flocs under neutral conditions. For ultrafiltration, although PE particles could be completely rejected,slight membrane fouling was caused owing to their large particle size. The membrane flux decreased after coagulation; however, the membrane fouling was less severe than that induced by flocs alone due to the heterogeneous nature of the cake layer caused by PE, even at high dosages of Fe-based salts. 12Targeted migration of mesenchymal stem cells modified with CXCR4 to acute failing liver improves liver regeneration显示文摘AIM:To improve the colonization rate of transplanted mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)in the liver and effect of MSC transplantation for acute liver failure(ALF).METHODS:MSC was modified with the chemokine CXC receptor 4(CXCR4)gene(CXCR4-MSC)or not(Null-MSC)through lentiviral transduction.The characteristics of CXCR4-MSCs and Null-MSCs were determined by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction,Western blotting and flow cytometry.CXCR4-MSCs and Null-MSCs were infused intravenously 24 h after administration of CCl4 in nude mice.The distribution of the MSCs,survival rates,liver function,hepatocyte regeneration and growth factors of the recipient micewere analyzed.RESULTS:In vitro,CXCR4-MSCs showed better migration capability toward stromal cell-derived factor-1αand a protective effect against thioacetamide in hepatocytes.In vivo imaging showed that CXCR4-MSCs migrated to the liver in larger numbers than Null-MSCs1 and 5 d after ALF.Higher colonization led to a longer lifetime and better liver function.Either CXCR4-MSCs or Null-MSCs exhibited a paracrine effect through secreting hepatocyte growth factor and vascular endothelial growth factor.Immunohistochemical analysis of Ki-67showed increased cell proliferation in the damaged liver of CXCR4-MSC-treated animals.CONCLUSION:Genetically modified MSCs expressing CXCR4 showed greater colonization and conferred better functional recovery in damaged liver.Hu-Cheng Ma Xiao-Lei Shi Hao-Zhen Ren Xian-Wen Yuan Yi-Tao Ding 2014World Journal of Gastroenterology2014,20,40:29

15The poisoning and regeneration effect of alkali metals deposed over commercial V_2O_5-WO_3/TiO_2 catalysts on SCR of NO by NH_3显示文摘In this study,commercial V2O5-WO3/TiO2catalysts were deactivated by loading with alkali metals(K and Na).These catalysts were then regenerated by washing with either deionized water or 0.5 mol/L H2SO4(through the ultrasonic-assisted method).The samples used in this research were characterized by NH3-temperature programmed desorption(TPD),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).Results showed that Na2O and K2O doping can poison the V2O5-WO3/TiO2catalyst and that the poisoning effect of Na2O was stronger than that of K2O.However,the Na2O-loaded sample was easier to regenerate than the K2O-loaded sample.The surfaces of catalysts can be sulfated by washing with dilute sulfuric acid because strong acid sites adhere to the catalyst surface.SO42-could also promote catalyst activity.As indicated by the NH3-TPD findings,the deposition of Na2O and K2O could also reduce the amount of desorbed ammonia and destabilize the acid sites,especially strong chemisorption sites.XPS results revealed that catalysts were deactivated by the decrease in the concentration of chemisorbed oxygen[the Oa/(Oα+Oβ)ratio].In the Na2O-doped catalyst,much chemisorbed oxygen was lost(from 28.8%to10.6%).However,the decrease in the Oa/(Oα+Oβ)ratio was less significant in the K2O-doped catalyst(from28.8%to 23.5%).Nonetheless,the binding energies of O1s broadened with respect to both high and low energy.In particular,the binding energy of chemisorbed oxygen increased from 531.5 to 531.8 eV.Fengyu Gao Xiaolong Tang Honghong Yi Shunzheng Zhao Tongtong Zhang Dong Li Ding Ma 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,31:19
16基于轮廓特征及灰度相似度匹配的接触网绝缘子缺陷检测(英文)显示文摘目的:在图像缺陷样本少和一致性差的情况下,实现精确可靠的接触网绝缘子缺陷检测。创新点:提山一种基于瓷片轮廓特征及灰度相似度匹配的融合算法,实现了绝缘子瓷片的轮廓提取及绝缘子各瓷片的精准分离,并构建了基于瓷片间距和灰度相似度匹配的绝缘子缺陷检测模型。方法:1.采用同一个绝缘子相邻瓷片两两比较的方法进行缺陷检测,解决图像缺陷样本少和一致性差的问题。2.分两步进行检测(Fig.2):(1)基于水平梯度特征提取绝缘子各瓷片轮廓,并对瓷片轮廓内像素进行复原;(2)计算瓷片间距和灰度相似度,并与设置的阈值进行比较以区分正常绝缘子和缺陷绝缘子。结论:1.实验表明,基于轮廓特征及灰度相似度匹配的方法能够有效区分正常绝缘子和缺陷绝缘子。2.在图片数据集中,测试达到了99.50%的高召回率和91.71%的高精确度,满足了目前较高水平的接触网绝缘子缺陷检测的要求。Ping TAN Xu-feng LI Jin-mei XU Ji-en MA Fei-jie WANG Jin DING You-tong FANG Yong NING 2020Journal of Zhejiang University-Science A(Applied Physics & Engineering)2020,21,1:19
17Value of gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase-to-platelet ratio in diagnosis of hepatic fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B显示文摘AIM To investigate the value of the gamma-glutamyltraspeptidase(GGT)-to-platelet(PLT) ratio(GPR) in the diagnosis of hepatic fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB). METHODS We included 390 untreated CHB patients in this study. The GPR, aspartate aminotransferase(AST)-to-PLT ratio index(APRI), and fibrosis-4(FIB-4) of all patients were analysed to determine if these parameter were correlated with age, gender, medical history, liver function [total bilirubin(TBil), alanine aminotransferase(ALT), and AST], GGT, PLT count, or hepatic fibrosis stage. The GPR, APRI, and FIB-4, as well as the combination of the GPR and APRI or the GPR and FIB-4 were assessed in different cirrhosis stages using receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve analysis to evaluate their value in diagnosing hepatic fibrosis in CHB patients. RESULTS The GPR, APRI, and FIB-4 were not correlated withCHB patients' age, gender, or disease duration(P > 0.05), but all of these parameters were positively correlated with serum ALT, AST, GGT, and PLT count(P < 0.01). Additionally, the GPR, APRI, and FIB-4 were positively correlated with hepatic fibrosis(P < 0.01); the areas under the ROC curve for the GPR in F1, F2, F3, and F4 stages were 0.723, 0.741, 0.826, and 0.833, respectively, which were significantly higher than the respective values for the FIB-4 and APRI(F1: 0.581, 0.612; F2: 0.706, 0.711; F3: 0.73, 0.751; and F4: 0.799, 0.778). The respective diagnostic cut-off points for each stage were 0.402, 0.448, 0.548, and 0.833, respectively. The diagnostic sensitivity and specificity were, respectively, 88.8% and 87.5% in F1, 72.7% and 89.7% in F2, 81.3% and 98.6% in F3, and 80% and 97.4% in F4 when the GPR and APRI were connected in parallel; 86.6% and 90.2%, 78.4% and 96%, 78.6% and 97.4%, and 73.2% and 97.9%, respectively, when the GPR and APRI were connected in series; 80.2% and 89%, 65% and 89%, 70.3% and 98.5%, and 78.8% and 96.8%, respectively, when the GPR and FIB-4 were connected in parallel; and 83.6% and 87.9%, 76.8% and 96.6%, 72.7% and 98%, and 74.4% and 97.7%, respectively, when the GPR and FIB-4 were connected in series.CONCLUSION The GPR, as a serum diagnostic index of liver fibrosis, is more accurate, sensitive, and easy to use than the FIB-4 and APRI, and the GPR can significantly improve the sensitivity and specificity of hepatic fibrosis diagnosis in CHB when combined with the FIB-4 or APRI.Yan-Chao Hu Hao Liu Xiao-Yan Liu Li-Na Ma Yu-Hua Guan Xia Luo Xiang-Chun Ding 2017World Journal of Gastroenterology2017,23,41:19
18Incidence of infectious complications is associated with a high mortality in patients with hepatitis B virus-related acute-on-chronic liver failure显示文摘BACKGROUND In China,hepatitis B virus-related acute-on-chronic liver failure (HBV-ACLF) is the most common liver failure characterized by serious clinical syndromes of liver decompensation with a very high mortality.Bacterial and/or fungal infections are the most common complications that are associated with high short-term mortality.Bacterial translocation from the intestine,impaired hepatic clearance,and immune paralysis of circulating immune cells are thought to contribute to infectious complications in liver failure.The control of bacterial and fungal infections is the key to improving HBV-ACLF outcomes.Active prevention,early diagnosis,and timely treatment of bacterial and fungal infections are essential for treating HBV-ACLF.AIM To investigate the frequency and role of bacterial and fungal infections in patients with HBV-ACLF.METHODS Patients with HBV-ACLF hospitalized at Taihe Hospital,Hubei University of Medicine from January 2014 to December 2017 were retrospectively enrolled.Patient-related information was retrieved from the hospital case database,including general information,blood biochemistry,complications,etc.According to the occurrence of secondary infection or not,the patients were divided into an infection group and a non-infection group.The sites,types,and incidences of bacterial and fungal infections and the influence of infections on the prognosis of HBV-ACLF were statistically analyzed.The risk factors for infections were assessed by unconditional logistic regression.RESULTS There were 174 cases of HBV-ACLF that met the enrollment criteria,of which 114 (65.52%) were diagnosed with infectious complications.Infections occurred in the abdominal cavity (87 cases),respiratory tract (51 cases),urinary tract (18 cases),and biliary tract (10 cases).Patients with infectious complications had a significantly higher 28-d mortality (70.18%,80/114) than those without (40.00%,24/60)(70.18% vs 40.00%,P < 0.05).And patients with infectious complications had a much higher incidence of non-infectious complications (54.39%,62/114)(54.39% vs 15.00%,P < 0.05),leading to an extremely high 28-d mortality of 88.71%(55/62)(P < 0.05).The grade of liver failure,period of hospital stay ≥ 30 d,age ≥ 45 years,and percentage of neutrophils > 70% were identified as risk factors for infectious complications.CONCLUSION The high incidence of infectious complications in patients with HBV-ACLF is associated with severity and deterioration of the disease and may contribute to the extremely high mortality of these patients.Chen Wang De-Qiang Ma Sen Luo Chuan-Min Wang De-Ping Ding You-You Tian Kang-Jian Ao Yin-Hua Zhang Yue Chen Zhong-Ji Meng 2019World Journal of Clinical Cases2019,7,16:18
19A general end-to-end diagnosis framework for manufacturing systems显示文摘The manufacturing sector is envisioned to be heavily influenced by artificial-intelligence-based technologies with the extraordinary increases in computational power and data volumes. A central challenge in the manufacturing sector lies in the requirement of a general framework to ensure satisfied diagnosis and monitoring performances in different manufacturing applications. Here, we propose a general data-driven,end-to-end framework for the monitoring of manufacturing systems. This framework, derived from deep-learning techniques, evaluates fused sensory measurements to detect and even predict faults and wearing conditions. This work exploits the predictive power of deep learning to automatically extract hidden degradation features from noisy, time-course data. We have experimented the proposed framework on 10 representative data sets drawn from a wide variety of manufacturing applications. 20Comprehensive metabolomics expands precision medicine for triple-negative breast cancer显示文摘Metabolic reprogramming is a hallmark of cancer.However,systematic characterizations of metabolites in triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)are still lacking.Our study profiled the polar metabolome and lipidome in 330 TNBC samples and 149 paired normal breast tissues to construct a large metabolomic atlas of TNBC.Combining with previously established transcriptomic and genomic data of the same cohort,we conducted a comprehensive analysis linking TNBC metabolome to genomics.Our study classified TNBCs into three distinct metabolomic subgroups:C1,characterized by the enrichment of ceramides and fatty acids;C2,featured with the upregulation of metabolites related to oxidation reaction and glycosyl transfer;and C3,having the lowest level of metabolic dysregulation.Based on this newly developed metabolomic dataset,we refined previous TNBC transcriptomic subtypes and identified some crucial subtype-specific metabolites as potential therapeutic targets.The transcriptomic luminal androgen receptor(LAR)subtype overlapped with metabolomic C1 subtype.Experiments on patient-derived organoid and xenograft models indicate that targeting sphingosine-1-phosphate(S1P),an intermediate of the ceramide pathway,is a promising therapy for LAR tumors.Moreover,the transcriptomic basal-like immune-suppressed(BLIS)subtype contained two prognostic metabolomic subgroups(C2 and C3),which could be distinguished through machine-learning methods.We show that N-acetyl-aspartyl-glutamate is a crucial tumor-promoting metabolite and potential therapeutic target for high-risk BLIS tumors.Together,our study reveals the clinical significance of TNBC metabolomics,which can not only optimize the transcriptomic subtyping system,but also suggest novel therapeutic targets.This metabolomic dataset can serve as a useful public resource to promote precision treatment of TNBC.Yi Xiao Ding Ma Yun-Song Yang Fan Yang Jia-Han Ding Yue Gong Lin Jiang Li-Ping Ge Song-Yang Wu Qiang Yu Qing Zhang François Bertucci Qiuzhuang Sun Xin Hu Da-Qiang Li Zhi-Ming Shao Yi-Zhou Jiang 2022Cell Research2022,32,5:18
