Microstructures and impact toughness behavior of Al 5083 alloy processed by cryorolling and afterwards annealing显示文摘The influence of rolling at liquid nitrogen temperature and annealing on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Al 5083 alloy was studied in this paper.Cryorolled samples of Al 5083 show significant improvements in strength and hardness. The ultimate tensile strength increases up to 340 MPa and 390 MPa for the 30% and 50% cryorolled samples, respectively. The cryorolled samples, with 30% and 50% reduction, were subjected to Charpy impact testing at various temperatures from-190℃ to 100℃.It is observed that increasing the percentage of reduction of samples during cryorolling has significant effect on decreasing impact toughness at all temperatures by increasing yield strength and decreasing ductility.Annealing of samples after cryorolling shows remarkable increment in impact toughness through recovery and recrystallization. The average grain size of the 50% cryorolled sample(14 μm) after annealing at 350℃ for 1 h is found to be finer than that of the 30% cryorolled sample(25 μm).The scanning electron microscopy(SEM) analysis of fractured surfaces shows a large-size dimpled morphology, resembling the ductile fracture mechanism in the starting material and fibrous structure with very fine dimples in cryorolled samples corresponding to the brittle fracture mechanism. | Dharmendra Singh P.Nageswara Rao R.Jayaganthan | 2013 | International Journal of Minerals,Metallurgy and Materials2013,20,8: | 11
Effect of Post Cryorolling Treatments on Microstructural and Mechanical Behaviour of Ultrafine Grained Al-Mg-Si Alloy显示文摘To investigate the effect of post cryorolling treatments on simultaneous enhancement in strength and ductility of ultrafine grained material(UFG),Al 6061 alloy was subjected to cryorolling followed by warm rolling(CR + WR)and compared with cryorolling followed by short annealing(CR + SA) at the same temperature.Transmission electron microscopy(TEM) was used to characterize the microstructural features of the processed material. The mechanical properties were investigated through Vickers hardness testing and tensile testing at room temperature.TEM,X-ray diffraction(XRD) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) were used to investigate the precipitation evolution in UFG material. Results indicated that the alloy subjected to CR + WR has shown improved mechanical properties(114 HV,ultimate tensile strength(UTS):350 MPa) as compared to that in the case of CR + SA(105 HV,UTS:285 MPa).The size of the precipitates observed in CR + WR sample after peak ageing treatment is finer than that of peak aged CR + SA sample. The UTS of peak aged CR + WR sample(UTS:390 MPa) was found to be higher than that of peak aged CR 4- SA sample(UTS:355 MPa),without decrease in ductility. | P.Nageswara rao Dharmendra Singh R.Jayaganthan | 2014 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2014,30,10: | 8

Perspectives of pluripotent stem cells in livestock显示文摘The recent progress in derivation of pluripotent stem cells(PSCs)from farm animals opens new approaches not only for reproduction, genetic engineering, treatment and conservation of these species, but also for screening novel drugs for their efficacy and toxicity, and modelling of human diseases.Initial attempts to derive PSCs from the inner cell mass of blastocyst stages in farm animals were largely unsuccessful as either the cells survived for only a few passages,or lost their cellular potency;indicating that the protocols which allowed the derivation of murine or human embryonic stem(ES)cells were not sufficient to support the maintenance of ES cells from farm animals. This scenario changed by the innovation of induced pluripotency and by the development of the 3 inhibitor culture conditions to support naïve pluripotency in ES cells from livestock species. However, the long-term culture of livestock PSCs while maintaining the full pluripotency is still challenging, and requires further refinements. Here,we review the current achievements in the derivation of PSCs from farm animals, and discuss the potential application areas. | Dharmendra Kumar Thirumala R Talluri Naresh L Selokar Iqbal Hyder Wilfried A Ku | 2021 | World Journal of Stem Cells2021,13,1: | 4

Ruddlesden-Popper phase A2BO4 oxides:Recent studies on structure, electrical, dielectric, and optical properties显示文摘In the last two decades, structure and properties of Ruddlesden–Popper phase(RP)A2BO4 oxides with K2NiF4 structure, have been widely investigated. But to the best of our knowledge,no review article is available in the literature on recent studies on these oxides. Therefore,in this article, recent studies on structure, electrical, dielectric, and optical properties of these oxides have been reviewed.Special attention is put on to highlight the effect of doping and oxygen stoichiometry on the structure and properties of these oxides.Further, important applications of these oxides have also been mentioned in this article. | Gurudeo NIRALA Dharmendra YADAV Shail UPADHYAY | 2020 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2020,9,2: | 4
Stabilization of expansive soils using chemical additives: A review显示文摘Volume instability of expansive soils due to moisture fluctuations is often disastrous, causing severe damages and distortions in the supported structures. It is,therefore, necessary to adequately improve the performance of such soils that they can favorably fulfil the post-construction stability requirements. This can be achieved through chemical stabilization using additives such as lime, cement and fly ash.In this paper, suitability of such additives under various conditions and their mechanisms are reviewed in detail. It is observed that the stabilization process primarily involves hydration, cation exchange, flocculation and pozzolanic reactions. The degree of stabilization is controlled by several factors such as additive type, additive content, soil type, soil mineralogy, curing period, curing temperature, delay in compaction,pH of soil matrix, and molding water content, including presence of nano-silica,organic matter and sulfate compounds.Provision of nano-silica not only improves soil packing but also accelerates the pozzolanic reaction. However, presence of deleterious compounds such as sulfate or organic matter can turn the treated soils unfavorable at times even worser than the unstabilized ones. | Dharmendra Barman Sujit Kumar Dash | 2022 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2022,14,4: | 3
Sitagliptin, sitagliptin and metformin,or sitagliptin and amitriptyline attenuate streptozotocin-nicotinamide induced diabetic neuropathy in rats显示文摘Diabetic neuropathies are a family of nerve disorders caused by diabetes.Symptoms of the disease include nerve palsy, mononeuropathy, mononeuropathy multiplex, diabetic amyotrophy, painful polyneuropathy, autonomic neuropathy, and thoracoabdominal neuropathy. In this study, type 2 diabetes in rats was induced with nicotinamidestreptozotocin.Drug treatment was initiated on the d 15,with the combination regimen of metformin, pioglitazone and glimipiride or metformin and sitagliptin or sitagliptin, amitriptyline and sitagliptin and led to significantly improved glycemic control, increased grip strength and paw jumping response on d 21,28 and 35(P < 0.001).Significant increases in blood protein levels and decreases in urinary protein levels were observed in the animals treated with the different regimens on d 21,28 and 35(P < 0.001).Combined treatment of streptozotocin and nicotinamide caused marked degeneration of nerve cells, while administration of metformin and sitagliptin showed tissue regeneration and no body weight gain.In conclusion, treatment with sitagliptin and sitagliptin combined with metformin or amitriptyline results in no body weight gain, but causes an increase in grip strength and pain sensitivity, exhibits neural protection, and reverses the alteration of biochemical parameters in rats with streptozotocin-nicotinamide induced type 2 diabetes. | Ashish Kumar Sharma Akash Sharma Rita Kumari Kunal Kishore Divya Sharma Bharthu Parthsarthi Srinivasan Ashok Sharma Santosh Kumar Singh Samir Gaur Vijay Singh Jatav Prashant Sharma Varnika Srivastava Sneha Joshi Megha Joshi Prashant Kumar Dhakad Davender Singh Kanawat Akanksha Mishra Anil Sharma Dharmendra Singh Ravinder Pal Singh Himmat Singh Chawda Rambir Singh Sachin Kumar Raikwar Muneem Kumar Kurmi Pankaj Khatri Ashutosh Agarwal Arshee Munajjam | 2012 | The Journal of Biomedical Research2012,26,3: | 2
Changes in species composition, diversity and biomass of herbaceous plant traits due to N amendment in a dry tropical environment of India显示文摘Aim European and North american studies have suggested that nitrogen(N)depositions reduce plant diversity and increase primary pro-ductivity due to changes in plant traits. To predict the vegetation response to future global change, experimental validations from other regions are widely needed. We assessed the effects of N treat-ment by urea fertilization on the diversity and biomass of the her-baceous plant traits(HPTs)in a dry tropical environment of India. Methods Diversity and biomass of different HPTs were determined on the basis of data collected in year 2010,from 135,1 m×1 m plots dis-tributed over 15 locations. The plots were treated with urea fertilizer in different doses(Control,60 kgNha−1 yr−1 and 120 kg N ha−1yr−1)since 1st January 2007.The plots were ordinated and data were subjected to appropriate statistical analyses.Important Findings Correspondence analysis(Ca)suggested uniqueness of species composition due to N amendment.species number and biomass of the trait categories varied due to N fertilization and traits.all studied trait categories(except N-fixers)yielded maximum mean species number at moderate level of N fertilization.Different levels of N fer-tilization exhibited different species diversity-primary productivity(D-P)relationships.Further,study showed reduction in plant diver-sity due to increase in biomass at high rates of N addition. Conclusions Tall, erect, non N-fixers,annuals,grasses HPTs were favoured by N enrichment.N dose above 60 kg enhanced the biomass of fast grow-ing,erect,annuals,non N-fixers,nitrophilic HPTs.The changes in traits with N addition, especially the increase in annuals and grasses and decrease in typically N-rich N-fixers,have implications for sus-tainable cattle production. | Punita Verma R.Sagar Hariom Verma Preeti Verma Dharmendra K.Singh | 2015 | Journal of Plant Ecology2015,8,3: | 2

Fake News Classification Using a Fuzzy Convolutional Recurrent Neural Network显示文摘In recent years, social media platforms have gained immense popularity. As a result, there has been a tremendous increase in content on social media platforms. This content can be related to an individual’s sentiments, thoughts, stories, advertisements, and news, among many other content types. With the recent increase in online content, the importance of identifying fake and real news has increased.Although, there is a lot of work present to detect fake news,a study on Fuzzy CRNN was not explored into this direction. In this work,a system is designed to classify fake and real news using fuzzy logic. The initial feature extraction process is done using a convolutional recurrent neural network(CRNN).After the extraction of features, word indexing is done with high dimensionality. Then, based on the indexing measures, the ranking process identifies whether news is fake or real. The fuzzy CRNN model is trained to yield outstanding resultswith 99.99±0.01%accuracy.This work utilizes three different datasets(LIAR,LIAR-PLUS,and ISOT)to find the most accurate model. | Dheeraj Kumar Dixit Amit Bhagat Dharmendra Dangi | 2022 | Computers, Materials & Continua2022,,6: | 1
