14Discriminative fine-grained network for vehicle re-identification using two-stage re-ranking显示文摘Research on the application of vehicle re-identification to video surveillance has attracted increasingly growing attention.Existing methods are associated with the difficulties of distinguishing different instances of the same car model owing to the incapability of recognizing subtle differences among these instances and the possibility that a subtle difference may lead to incorrect results of ranking.In this paper,a discriminative fine-grained network for vehicle re-identification based on a two-stage re-ranking framework is proposed to address these issues.This discriminative fine-grained network(DFN)is composed of fine-grained and Siamese networks.The proposed hybrid network can extract discriminative features of the vehicle instances with subtle differences.The Siamese network is rather suitable for general object re-identification using two streams of the network,while the fine-grained network is capable of detecting subtle differences.The proposed two-stage re-ranking method allows obtaining a more reliable ranking list by using the Jaccard metric and merging the first and second re-ranking lists,where the latter list is formed using the sample mean feature.Experimental results on the VeR i-776 and VehicleID datasets show that the proposed method achieves the superior performance compared to the state-of-the-art methods used in vehicle re-identification.Qi WANG Weidong MIN Daojing HE Song ZOU Tiemei HUANG Yu ZHANG Ruikang LIU 2020Science China(Information Sciences)2020,63,11:1

17On Designs of Decentralized Reputation Management for Permissioned Blockchain Networks显示文摘In permissioned blockchain networks,the Proof of Authority(PoA)consensus,which uses the election of authorized nodes to validate transactions and blocks,has beenwidely advocated thanks to its high transaction throughput and fault tolerance.However,PoA suffers from the drawback of centralization dominated by a limited number of authorized nodes and the lack of anonymity due to the round-robin block proposal mechanism.As a result,traditional PoA is vulnerable to a single point of failure that compromises the security of the blockchain network.To address these issues,we propose a novel decentralized reputation management mechanism for permissioned blockchain networks to enhance security,promote liveness,and mitigate centralization while retaining the same throughput as traditional PoA.This paper aims to design an off-chain reputation evaluation and an on-chain reputation-aided consensus.First,we evaluate the nodes’reputation in the context of the blockchain networks and make the reputation globally verifiable through smart contracts.Second,building upon traditional PoA,we propose a reputation-aided PoA(rPoA)consensus to enhance securitywithout sacrificing throughput.In particular,rPoA can incentivize nodes to autonomously form committees based on reputation authority,which prevents block generation from being tracked through the randomness of reputation variation.Moreover,we develop a reputation-aided fork-choice rule for rPoA to promote the network’s liveness.Finally,experimental results show that the proposed rPoA achieves higher security performance while retaining transaction throughput compared to traditional PoA.Jinyu Chen Long Shi Qisheng Huang Taotao Wang Daojing He 2024Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2024,139,5:0
18Sparse flight spotlight mode 3-D imaging of spaceborne SAR based on sparse spectrum and principal component analysis显示文摘The spaceborne synthetic aperture radar(SAR)sparse flight 3-D imaging technology through multiple observations of the cross-track direction is designed to form the cross-track equivalent aperture,and achieve the third dimensionality recognition.In this paper,combined with the actual triple star orbits,a sparse flight spaceborne SAR 3-D imaging method based on the sparse spectrum of interferometry and the principal component analysis(PCA)is presented.Firstly,interferometric processing is utilized to reach an effective sparse representation of radar images in the frequency domain.Secondly,as a method with simple principle and fast calculation,the PCA is introduced to extract the main features of the image spectrum according to its principal characteristics.Finally,the 3-D image can be obtained by inverse transformation of the reconstructed spectrum by the PCA.The simulation results of 4.84 km equivalent cross-track aperture and corresponding 1.78 m cross-track resolution verify the effective suppression of this method on high-frequency sidelobe noise introduced by sparse flight with a sparsity of 49%and random noise introduced by the receiver.Meanwhile,due to the influence of orbit distribution of the actual triple star orbits,the simulation results of the sparse flight with the 7-bit Barker code orbits are given as a comparison and reference to illuminate the significance of orbit distribution for this reconstruction results.This method has prospects for sparse flight 3-D imaging in high latitude areas for its short revisit period.ZHOU Kai LI Daojing CUI Anjing HAN Dong TIAN He YU Haifeng DU Jianbo LIU Lei ZHU Yu ZHANG Running 2021Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2021,32,5:0
