| 1 | Status and challenges facing representative anode materials for rechargeable lithium batteries显示文摘Rechargeable lithium batteries have been widely regarded as a revolutionary technology to store renewable energy sources and extensively researched in the recent several decades.As an indispensable part of lithium batteries,the evolution of anode materials has significantly promoted the development of lithium batteries.However,since conventional lithium batteries with graphite anodes cannot meet the ever-increasing demands in different application scenarios(such as electric vehicles and large-scale power supplies)which require high energy/power density and long cycle life,various improvement strategies and alternative anode materials have been exploited for better electrochemical performance.In this review,we detailedly introduced the characteristics and challenges of four representative anode materials for rechargeable lithium batteries,including graphite,Li_(4)Ti_(5)O_(12),silicon,and lithium metal.And some of the latest advances are summarized,which mainly contain the modification strategies of anode materials and partially involve the optimization of electrode/electrolyte interface.Finally,we make the conclusive comments and perspectives,and draw a development timeline on the four anode materials.This review aims to offer a good primer for newcomers in the lithium battery field and benefit the structure and material design of anodes for advanced rechargeable lithium batteries in the future. | Liqiang Zhang Chenxi Zhu Sicheng Yu Daohan Ge Haoshen Zhou | 2022 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,3: | 13 |
| 2 | Ore-Forming Fluids Characteristics and Metallogenesis of the Anjing Hitam Pb-Zn Deposit in Northern Sumatra, Indonesia显示文摘The Anjing Hitam Pb-Zn deposit in northern Sumatra(Indonesia) is one of the largest Pb-Zn deposits in the region. The stratiform orebodies are mainly hosted in the middle member of the Carboniferous–Permian Kluet Formation of the Tapanuli Group. Mineral paragenesis and crosscutting relationships suggest a two-stage Pb-Zn mineralization:(I) sedimentary and(Ⅱ) hydrothermal mineralization. Ore-related calcite from both stages Ⅰ and Ⅱ contains mainly liquid-and gas-liquid two-phase-type fluid inclusions(FI). For stage I ore-forming fluids, FI homogenization temperatures(T_h) are 105 to 199 oC, and the salinities are 9.6 wt.% to 16.6 wt.% NaCleqiv, reflecting low temperature and medium-low salinity; whereas in stage Ⅱ, the T_h(206 to 267 oC) and salinity(19.0 wt.% to 22.5 wt.% NaCleqiv) are considerably higher. Fluid inclusion and C-O isotope characteristics suggest that the stage I ore-forming fluids were mainly derived from a mixture of seawater and magmatic fluids(probably from deep-lying plutons), whereas the stage Ⅱ ore-forming fluids were likely magmatic-derived with wall rock input. | 6 | On the origin of dissimilar pore evolution on patterned and unpatterned (100) n-type silicon显示文摘Via systematic investigation of the anodization of both patterned and unpatterned specimens, phenomena of pronounced discrepancy with respect to pore size, pore density and pore etch-rate were evidenced. Based on the detailed analysis of scanning electron microscope (SEM) micrographs and current-voltage curves, the competition between physical and chemical elements was found to be crucial to understanding the observations. The results indicate that the size, density and growth-speed of pores may act as an evident function of the initial morphology of the sample surface, despite a nearly fixed width of the space charge region. | 11 | Evidence for self-organized criticality in unscheduled downtime data of equipment显示文摘How to reduce downtime and improve availability of the complex equipment is very important. Although the unscheduled downtime(USDT) issues of the equipment are very complex, the self-organized criticality(SOC) is the right theory to study complex systems evolution and opens up a new window to the investigation of disasters, such as the sudden failure of the equipment. Firstly,SOC theory and its validation method are introduced. Then an SOC validation method for USDT of the equipment is proposed based on the above theory. Case study is done on bottleneck equipment in a factory and corresponding data pre-process work is done. The rescaled-range(R/S) analysis method is used to calculate the Hurst exponent of USDT time-series data in order to determine the long-range correlation of USDT data on time scale;at the same time the spatial power-law characteristic of USDT time series data is studied. The result shows that the characteristics of SOC are revealed in USDT data of the equipment according to the criterion of SOC. | 13 | THE SPLITTING OF COMET HALLEY显示文摘In combination with the authors previous obsewation about the splitting of Comet Halley in March 1986, the events involving the sharp, straight feature in the antisolar direction observed in the head of Comet Halley in 1910 (such as those occurring on May 14, 25 and 31, and June 2) are rediscussed The analysis leads to the following scenario: When Comet Halley explodes and splits, a fragment jettisoned or thrown off from the nucleus will, after moving in the direction of its tail, develop into a mini-comet. Although not well developed or permanent, it has its own plasma tail and, sometimes, a dust tail. If Bobrovnikoff’s definition of a secondary nucleus is assumed, then the fragment should be considered as a real secondary nucleus. | 15 | Characteristic chemical profile of Juhe Fang extract with lipid-lowering properties显示文摘Objective:The objective of this study was to verify the lipid-lowering effect of Juhe Fang extract(JHFE)and to determine its characteristic chemical profile in vitro and in vivo.Methods:A hyperlipidemia model was established by feeding mice a high-fat diet(HFD).After treatment for 30 days,serum total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)levels were measured with an automatic biochemistry analyzer.The components from JHFE obtained from in vivo and in vitro experiments were investigated using an UPLC-Q Exactive-Orbitrap MS/MS.Results:The TC,TG,and LDL-C in the serum significantly decreased and the HDL-C significantly increased after JHFE treatment.A total of 95 compounds from JHEF including 15 phenolic acids(PA),4 phenylethanoid glycosides(PG),24 flavonoids(F),14 triterpenoids(T),10 diterpenoid glycosides(D),18 alkaloids(A)and 10 others(O)were identified.Trigonelline was discovered for the first time in a herbal medicine of Juhe Fang.Furthermore,68 compounds were identified in vivo including 28 prototype compounds and 40 metabolites.The metabolic characteristics of these components were revealed including identification of new metabolites of 4-hydroxyphenyl ethyl-8-O-[a-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1/6)]-b-D-glucopyranoside(PEG)and lirinidine.A total of 43 components from JHFE were absorbed and/or metabolized.The contribution rate of each type of chemical component from JHFE to its lipidlowering effect from high to low were A,F,PG,PA,D and T.Conclusion:The results of this study showed that JHFE demonstrated a significant lipid-lowering effect in a high-fat diet(HFD)-induced hyperlipidemia mouse model.Specific types of PA,PG,F,D,T and A formed the pharmaceutical architecture of the lipid-lowering effect of JHFE.This study should prove useful for clarifying the components responsible for the lipid-lowering effect of JHFE and provide a basis for precision quality control research. | Jing Kong Lulu Liu Yuanyuan Gao Siyu Chen Linfu Li Yisong Shu Daohan Sun Yanyan Jiang Renbing Shi | 2020 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences2020,7,3: | 0 |
| 16 | Performance Analysis of an Integrated Supercritical CO_(2) Recompression/Absorption Refrigeration/Kalina Cycle Driven by Medium-Temperature Waste Heat显示文摘A novel power and cooling cogeneration system which combines a supercritical CO_(2) recompression cycle(SCRC), an ammonia-water absorption refrigeration cycle(AARC) and a Kalina cycle(KC) is proposed and investigated for the recovery of medium-temperature waste heat. The system is based on energy cascade utilization, and the waste heat can be fully converted through the simultaneous operation of the three sub-cycles. A steady-state mathematical model is built for further performance study of the proposed system. When the exhaust temperature is 505℃, it is shown that under designed conditions the thermal efficiency and exergy efficiency reach 30.74% and 61.55%, respectively. The exergy analysis results show that the main exergy destruction is concentrated in the heat recovery vapor generator(HRVG). Parametric study shows that the compressor inlet pressure, the SCRC pressure ratio, the main compressor and the turbine I inlet temperature, and the AARC generator pressure have significant effects on thermodynamic and economic performance of the combined system. | 17 | Micro-scale Realization of Compliant Mechanisms:Manufacturing Processes and Constituent Materials-A Review显示文摘Compliant micromechanisms(CMMs)acquire mobility from the deflection of elastic members and have been proven to be robust by millions of silicon MEMS devices.However,the limited deflection of silicon impedes the realization of more sophisticated CMMs,which often require larger deflections.Recently,some novel manufacturing processes have emerged but are not well known by the community.In this paper,the realization of CMMs is reviewed,aiming to provide help to mechanical designers to quickly find the proper realization method for their CMM designs.To this end,the literature surveyed was classified and statistically analyzed,and representative processes were summarized individually to reflect the state of the art of CMM manufacturing.Furthermore,the features of each process were collected into tables to facilitate the reference of readers,and the guidelines for process selection were discussed.The review results indicate that,even though the silicon process remains dominant,great progress has been made in the development of polymer-related and composite-related processes,such as micromolding,SU-8 process,laser ablation,3D printing,and the CNT frameworking.These processes result in constituent materials with a lower Young’s modulus and larger maximum allowable strain than silicon,and therefore allow larger deflection.The geometrical capabilities(e.g.,aspect ratio)of the realization methods should also be considered,because different types of CMMs have different requirements.We conclude that the SU-8 process,3D printing,and carbon nanotube frameworking will play more important roles in the future owing to their excellent comprehensive capabilities. | Minchang Wang Daohan Ge Liqiang Zhang Just L.Herder | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2021,34,4: | 0 |
