2The clinical and genetic characteristics in children with mitochondrial disease in China显示文摘Mitochondrial disease was a clinically and genetically heterogeneous group of diseases, thus the diagnosis was very difficult to clinicians. Our objective was to analyze clinical and genetic characteristics of children with mitochondrial disease in China. We tested 141 candidate patients who have been suspected of mitochondrial disorders by using targeted next-generation sequencing(NGS), and summarized the clinical and genetic data of gene confirmed cases from Neurology Department, Beijing Children's Hospital, Capital Medical University from October 2012 to January 2015. In our study, 40 cases of gene confirmed mitochondrial disease including eight kinds of mitochondrial disease, among which Leigh syndrome was identified to be the most common type, followed by mitochondrial encephalomyopathy, lactic acidosis, and stroke-like episodes(MELAS). The age-of-onset varies among mitochondrial disease, but early onset was common. All of 40 cases were gene confirmed, among which 25 cases(62.5%)with mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA) mutation, and 15 cases(37.5%) with nuclear DNA(nDNA) mutation. M.3243A>G(n=7)accounts for a large proportion of mtDNA mutation. 4Self-powered and bipolar photodetector based on a van der Waals metal-semiconductor junction:Graphene/WSe_(2)/Fe_(3)GeTe_(2) heterojunction显示文摘A self-driven photosensor with signal-reversal response has the potential to work as a photodetector in complex environments with multiple signals owing to better signal recognition and enhanced signal-processing efficiency.Herein,a metal-semiconductor-metal photodetector based on ambipolar WSe_(2) with two electrodes comprising two-dimensional(2 D) van der Waals(vdWs) metal Fe_(3)GeTe_(2) and semimetal graphene was proposed to form an asymmetrical metal-contacted architecture with different Schottky barrier heights.The regulating gate field-induced Fermi level shift in WSe_(2) can be used to manipulate the WSe_(2) channel’s carrier type,resulting in a polarity-reversible photodetector without a bias voltage.Furthermore,the photovoltaic effect can be observed from wavelengths of 450 nm(visible) to 850 nm(infrared) without external voltage.The large open voltage is -0.177 V and short-circuit current is 17 nA under a 650-nm excitation wavelength.The reported WSe_(2)-based photodetector exhibits excellent properties under zero bias,including a large photo-to-dark current ratio greater than 10^(6) with dark current less than 1 fA,photovoltaic performance with an external quantum efficiency of 27.14%,an excellent detectivity of 3.4×10^(10) Jones,and a high responsivity of 116.38 mA/W.Rapid electron transfer occurs at the interface between WSe_(2) and vd Ws electrodes,resulting in a 370-μs response speed owing to the clean and nondestructive interfaces between vd Ws metals and WSe_(2).This study demonstrates the wide application prospect of the vd Ws metal Fe_(3)GeTe_(2) as an electrode forming a Schottky junction for realizing a photodetector without an external voltage and accelerates the development of 2 D photosensors with various working modes.XU GuoLiang LIU DanMin LI JingZhen LI JingJie YE ShuaiShuai 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,6:1

18Atomic pair distribution function research on Li_2MnO_3 electrode structure evolution显示文摘The mechanism research of structure-related reactions on Li_2MnO_3 is important to enhance the electrochemical performance of lithium-manganese-rich layered oxides.Although there are some reports on the structure evolution of Li_2MnO_3 during cycling process,the employed research techniques are very limited,mainly in/ex-situ X-ray diffraction,X-ray absorption and transmission electron microscopy.Here,atomic pair distribution function,a method to study the local atomic arrangement on the basis of average spectroscopic information,is used for the first time to study the local structure evolution of Li_2MnO_3 during electrochemical charge/discharge cycles.The results clearly demonstrate that Mn^(3+)/Mn^(4+) redox couple is activated and Mn ions are reduced during discharging process.Some Mn ions in Mn layers can significantly migrate to Li layers and occupy the octahedral sites.As a result,a portion of inserted Li ions can occupy the face-shared tetrahedron sites,accompanied by the formation of local spinel-like structure.This work provides an important and suitable method based on the average spectroscopic information to investigate the local structure of electrode materials of lithium-ion batteries as well as other advanced battery systems.Yubo Yang Heng Su Tianhao Wu Yuyuan Jiang Danmin Liu Pengfei Yan Haolai Tian Haijun Yu 2019Science Bulletin2019,64,8:1

20Binary-ternary transition metal chalcogenides interlayer coupling in van der Waals type-II heterostructure for visible-infrared photodetector with efficient suppression dark currents显示文摘Ternary two-dimentional(2D)materials exhibit diverse physical properties depending on their composition,structure,and thickness.Through forming heterostructures with other binary materials that show similar structure,there can be numerous potential applications of these ternary 2D materials.In this work,we reported the structure of few-layer CrPS_(4)by X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscope,and electron-density distribution calculation.We also demonstrated a new application of the CrPS_(4)/MoS_(2)heterobilayer:visible-infrared photodetectors with type-II staggered band alignment at room temperature.The response of the heterostructure to infrared light results from a strong interlayer coupling that reduces the energy interval in the junction area.Since the intrinsic bandgap of individual components determines wavelengths,the decrease in energy interval allows better detection of light that has a longer wavelength.We used photoluminescence(PL)spectroscopy,Kelvin probe force microscopy(KPFM)under illumination,and electrical transport measurements to verify the photoinduced charge separation between the CrPS_(4)/MoS_(2)heterostructures.At forward bias,the device functioned as a highly sensitive photodetector,as the wavelength-dependent photocurrent measurement achieved the observation of optical excitation from 532 to 1,450 nm wavelength.Moreover,the photocurrent caused by interlayer exciton reached around 1.2 nA at 1,095 nm wavelength.Our demonstration of the strong interlayer coupling in the CrPS_(4)/MoS_(2)heterostructure may further the understanding of the essential physics behind binary-ternary transition metal chalcogenides heterostructure and pave a way for their potential applications in visible-infrared devices.Guoliang Xu Danmin Liu Songyu Li Yi Wu Zhenlu Zhang Shaobo Wang Zikun Huang Yongzhe Zhang 2022Nano Research2022,15,3:0
