| 1 | Genetic diversity of Tricholoma matsutake in Yunnan Province显示文摘To investigate the genetic diversity of Tricholoma matsutake,we studied ITS and IGS1 sequences and PCR polymorphism of a retrotransposon in 56 fruit bodies collected from 13 counties of 9 regions in Yunnan Province. We found one and three haplotypes based on ITS and IGS1 sequences,respectively. Moreover,there was no significant difference in PCR polymorphism of the retrotransposon among different populations. | 2 | Injectable peptide hydrogel as intraperitoneal triptolide depot for the treatment of orthotopic hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Chemotherapy is among the limited choices approved for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) at intermediate and advanced stages. Preferential and prolonged drug exposure in diseased sites is required to maximize the therapeutic index of the drug. Here, we report an injectable supramolecular peptide hydrogel as an intraperitoneal depot for localized and sustained release of triptolide for the treatment of orthotopic HCC. We chose peptide amphiphile C16-GNNQQNYKD-OH-based nanofibers as gelators and carriers for triptolide. Sustained triptolide release from the hydrogel was achieved over 14 days in vitro, with higher accumulation in and cytotoxicity against human HCC Bel-7402 in comparison with L-02 fetal hepatocytes. After intraperitoneal injection, the hydrogel showed prolonged retention over 13 days and preferential accumulation in the liver, realizing HCC growth inhibition by99.7 ± 0.1% and animal median survival extension from 19 to 43 days, without causing noticeable pathological changes in the major organs. | 3 | Oleic Acid and Eicosapentaenoic Acid Reverse Palmitic Acid-induced Insulin Resistance in Human HepG2 Cells via the Reactive Oxygen Species/JUN Pathway显示文摘Oleic acid(OA),a monounsaturated fatty acid(MUFA),has previously been shown to reverse saturated fatty acid palmitic acid(PA)-induced hepatic insulin resistance(IR).However,its underlying molecular mechanism is unclear.In addition,previous studies have shown that eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA),aω-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid(PUFA),reverses PA-induced muscle IR,but whether EPA plays the same role in hepatic IR and its possible mechanism involved need to be further clarified.Here,we confirmed that EPA reversed PA-induced IR in HepG2 cells and compared the proteomic changes in HepG2 cells after treatment with different free fatty acids(FFAs).A total of 234 proteins were determined to be differentially expressed after PA+OA treatment.Their functions were mainly related to responses to stress and endogenous stimuli,lipid metabolic process,and protein binding.For PA+EPA treatment,the PA-induced expression changes of 1326 proteins could be reversed by EPA,415 of which were mitochondrial proteins,with most of the functional proteins involved in oxidative phosphorylation(OXPHOS)and tricarboxylic acid(TCA)cycle.Mechanistic studies revealed that the protein encoded by JUN and reactive oxygen species(ROS)play a role in OA-and EPA-reversed PA-induced IR,respectively.EPA and OA alleviated PA-induced abnormal adenosine triphosphate(ATP)production,ROS generation,and calcium(Ca^(2+))content.Importantly,H_(2)O_(2)-activated production of ROS increased the protein expression of JUN,further resulting in IR in HepG2 cells.Taken together,we demonstrate that ROS/JUN is a common response pathway employed by HepG2 cells toward FFA-regulated IR. | Yaping Sun Jifeng Wang Xiaojing Guo Nali Zhu Lili Niu Xiang Ding Zhensheng Xie Xiulan Chen Fuquan Yang | 2021 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2021,19,5: | 6 |
| 4 | Highly efficient Zr doped-TiO_2/glass fiber photocatalyst and its performance in formaldehyde removal under visible light显示文摘Zr-doped-TiO_2 loaded glass fiber(ZT/GF) composite photocatalysts with different Zr/Ti ratios were prepared with a sol–gel process. Zr4+can replace Ti4+in the TiO_2 lattice, which is conducive to forming the anatase phase and reducing the calcination temperature. The glass fiber carrier was responsible for better dispersion and loading of Zr-doped-TiO_2 particles, improving the applicability of the Zr-doped-TiO_2. The ZT/GF photocatalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscope(SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy(UV–vis) and Barrett–Joyner–Halenda(BJH). The performance of photocatalysts with different loading was evaluated in formaldehyde degradation under visible light at room temperature. ZT/GF0.2exhibited the highest activity, with a formaldehyde removal rate as high as 95.14% being observed, which is better than that of the photocatalyst particles alone. | 5 | Neural Stem Cells Transfected with Leukemia Inhibitory Factor Promote Neuroprotection in a Rat Model of Cerebral Ischemia显示文摘Leukemia inhibitory factor(LIF) contributes to the neuroprotection by neural stem cells(NSCs) after ischemic stroke. Our aim was to explore whether LIFtransfected NSCs(LIF-NSCs) can ameliorate brain injury and promote neuroprotection in a rat model of cerebral ischemia. To accomplish this goal, we transfected NSCs with a lentivirus carrying the LIF gene to stably overexpress LIF. The LIF-NSCs reduced caspase 3 activation under conditions of oxygen-glucose deprivation in vitro.Transient cerebral ischemia was induced in rats by 2 h of middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAo), and LIF-NSCs were intravenously injected at 6 h post-ischemia. LIF-NSC treatment reduced the infarction volume and improved neurological recovery. Moreover, LIF-NSCs improved glial cell regeneration and ameliorated white matter injuryin the MCAo rats. | 6 | A review of the interaction between the cryosphere and atmosphere显示文摘The interaction between the cryosphere and atmosphere is an essential and extremely sensitive mutual action process on the earth.Due to global warming and the cryospheric melting,more and more attention has been paid to the interaction process between the cryosphere and atmosphere,especially the feedback of the cryosphere change to the atmosphere.A comprehensive review of the studies on the interaction between the cryosphere and atmosphere is conducted from two aspects:(1)effects of climate change on the cryosphere or responses of the cryosphere to climate change;and(2)feedback of the cryosphere change to the climate.The response of the cryosphere to climate change is lagging.Such a lagging and cumulative effect of temperature rise within the cryosphere have resulted in a rapid change in the cryosphere in the 21st century,and its impacts have become more significant.The feedback from cryosphere change on the climate are omnifarious.Among them,the effects of sea ice loss and snow cover change,especially the Arctic sea ice loss and the Northern Hemisphere snow cover change,are the most prominent.The Arctic amplification(AA)associated with sea ice feedback is disturbing,and the feedback generated by the effect of temperature rise on snow properties in the Northern Hemisphere is also of great concern.There are growing evidence of the impact of the Arctic cryosphere melting on mid-latitude weather and climate.Weakened storm troughs,steered jet stream and amplified planetary waves associated with energy propagation become the key to explaining the links between Arctic cryosphere change and atmospheric circulation.There is still a great deal of uncertainty about how cryosphere change affects the weather and climate through different atmospheric circulation processes at different spatial and temporal scales due to observation and simulation problems. | YongJian Ding JianPing Yang ShengXia Wang YaPing Chang | 2020 | Research in Cold and Arid Regions2020,12,6: | 4 |

| 20 | Light-controllable charge-reversal nanoparticles with polyinosinic-polycytidylic acid for enhancing immunotherapy of triple negative breast cancer显示文摘Nucleic acid drugs are highly applicable for cancer immunotherapy with promising therapeutic effects, while targeting delivery of these drugs to disease lesions remains challenging. Cationic polymeric nanoparticles have paved the way for efficient delivery of nucleic acid drugs, and achieved stimuli-responsive disassembly in tumor microenvironment(TME). However, TME is highly heterogeneous between individuals, and most nanocarriers lack active-control over the release of loaded nucleic acid drugs, which will definitely reduce the therapeutic efficacy. Herein, we have developed a lightcontrollable charge-reversal nanoparticle(LCCN) with controlled release of polyinosinic-polycytidylic acid [Poly(I:C)] to treat triple negative breast cancer(TNBC) by enhanced photodynamic immunotherapy. The nanoparticles keep suitably positive charge for stable loading of Poly(I:C), while rapidly reverse to negative charge after near-infrared light irradiation to release Poly(I:C). LCCN-Poly(I:C) nanoparticles trigger effective phototoxicity and immunogenic cell death on 4 T1 tumor cells, elevate antitumor immune responses and inhibit the growth of primary and abscopal 4 T1 tumors in mice.
