| 1 | Numerical investigation on effects of side curtain opening behavior on indoor climate of naturally ventilated dairy buildings显示文摘The side-curtain is popular in cattle buildings to regulate indoor climates and ventilation rates by adjusting the opening ratio.It normally had three different adjusting strategies relate to the position of rollers,i.e.central roller(S1),top roller(S2)and bottom roller(S3),which result in different opening behaviors to generate the same opening ratio but different opening positions in the side wall for a full-curtain house.Numerical simulations were conducted using computational fluid dynamics(CFD)to investigate the effects of the eight potential opening behaviors of side curtains on the indoor climates and airflow rates in winter for a typical naturally ventilated dairy house in China when the opening ratio were 8.5%and 17%.Airflow patterns,wind chilled temperature(WCT)and age of air were analyzed in the animal occupied zone(AOZ)by taking reference planes.Openings at the very bottom of side walls had more efficient ventilation due to the younger air age,more effective air disturbing,more uniformly distributed indicators in AOZ.However,it will result in a lower WCT in AOZ although a lower ventilation rate was observed in this case.Openings on the very top of side wall would generate a better thermal comfort in AOZ but with very poor air quality and nonuniformly distributed airflows in the dairy house.S1 was not recommended to the practical application due to the poor indoor climate and the higher cost of the mechanical structure.Based on the comprehensive evaluations of the analytic hierarchy process,the most satisfaction opening positions were at the bottom of the side curtains and the optimized adjusting strategy is S2. | Qifeng Li Chuanxia Yao Luyu Ding Ligen Yu Weihong Ma Ronghua Gao Wengang Zheng | 2020 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2020,13,5: | 2 |

| 11 | Time-dependent mechanical behavior of tough hydrogels under multiaxial stretching显示文摘Understanding the time-dependent mechanical behavior of tough and viscoelastic hydrogels under complex external loading is crucial.In this study,we utilized tough and viscoelastic hydrogels synthesized through the copolymerization of methacrylic acid and methacrylamide as a model system to investigate their mechanical behavior under multiaxial stretching across a wide range of strain rates.Three stretching modes examined were uniaxial,pure shear,and equal biaxial stretching.Our findings show that under equal biaxial stretching,the hydrogels exhibit higher mechanical properties and energy dissipation compared to uniaxial and pure shear stretching,owing to the greater contribution of hydrogen bonds to energy dissipation in the former stretching mode.Additionally,employing the time-elongation separability method during the stretching process,we observed that the relaxation of dynamic hydrogen bonds in the hydrogels only depends on stretching time,independent of the elongation ratio and stretching modes.We anticipate that this study will yield valuable contributions to the design of durable load-bearing soft materials,particularly in dealing with complex deformation and strain rate responses. | Yong Liu Yang Chen Jie Zhu Mengze Lu Chuanxia Jiang Zhiwei Fan Taolin Sun | 2023 | International Journal of Smart and Nano Materials2023,14,4: | 0 |
| 12 | Atomically-precise Au_(24)Ag_(1) Clusterzymes with Enhanced Peroxidase-like Activity for Bioanalysis显示文摘Atomically-precise clusterzymes have been widely studied for their special physicochemical properties,but it is still a challenge to enhance their peroxidase-like activity.Herein,we demonstrated that by substituting a single Ag atom into Au25 nanoclusters to form Au_(24)Ag_(1) nanoclusters,the peroxidase-like activity was enhanced greatly.In the presence of H_(2)O_(2),Au_(24)Ag_(1) could produce reactive oxygen species(ROS)to oxidize colorless 3,3'5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB)to the blue oxidized TMB(oxTMB).It is worth mentioning that pyrophosphate compounds inhibit the activity of Au_(24)Ag_(1).Since alkaline phosphatase(ALP)can dephosphorylate the substrate phosphate compound,that is,remove the phosphate group on the substrate by hydrolysis,the enzymatic activity of the clusterzyme is restored.Based on this,we have developed a sensitive and reliable colorimetric sensing system for the detection of pyrophosphate ion(PPi),adenosine triphosphate(ATP),adenosine diphosphate(ADP)and ALP,respectively.Importantly,the detection limit of the assay system is lower than those of most of the assays that have been reported.In addition,we also built a simple optical logic gate on this basis,further extending the application of metal nanoclusters as peroxidase mimics in bioanalysis.This work could help to shed light on the structure-activity relationship of nanozyme. | WANG Shuna LI Zhe XIA Mingyuan ZHAO Xiaoxue CHEN Chuanxia JIANG Yuanyuan NI Pengjuan LU Yizhong | 2023 | Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,6: | 0 |

| 16 | The Coupling Agents' Effects on the BSA Intercalated into Montmorillonite显示文摘The effects of surface modification on montmorillonite(MMT) were illustrated in order to produce the composite material with premium properties. MMT was treated with two coupling agents: glutaraldehyde(GA) and γ-methacryloxy-propyl-trimethoxy silane(KH570). The effects of different coupling agents on MMT and protein interaction were investigated by XRD, FT-IR, TGA, UV-Vis, etc. The results of structure characterization indicated that KH570 modification could change the surface crystal structure of MMT. However, GA reacted with amino groups of Bovine serum albumin(BSA) and the ordered layer structures of MMT were not completely destroyed. Coupling agents could greatly increase the amounts of BSA intercalated and the effect of KH570 is better than that of GA. And, the optimum concentrations of KH570 and GA were 2% and 6%, respectively. The rate of weight loss increased by about 12% after MMT was pretreated with coupling agents. The possible reason is that coupling agent treatment makes the structure of MMT more accessible to protein absorption and helps to stabilize the protein structure. | 18 | Whale Optimization Algorithm-Based Deep Learning Model for Driver Identification in Intelligent Transport Systems显示文摘Driver identification in intelligent transport systems has immense demand,considering the safety and convenience of traveling in a vehicle.The rapid growth of driver assistance systems(DAS)and driver identification system propels the need for understanding the root causes of automobile accidents.Also,in the case of insurance,it is necessary to track the number of drivers who commonly drive a car in terms of insurance pricing.It is observed that drivers with frequent records of paying“fines”are compelled to pay higher insurance payments than drivers without any penalty records.Thus driver identification act as an important information source for the intelligent transport system.This study focuses on a similar objective to implement a machine learning-based approach for driver identification.Raw data is collected from in-vehicle sensors using the controller area network(CAN)and then converted to binary form using a one-hot encoding technique.Then,the transformed data is dimensionally reduced using the Principal Component Analysis(PCA)technique,and further optimal parameters from the dataset are selected using Whale Optimization Algorithm(WOA).The most relevant features are selected and then fed into a Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)model.The proposed model is evaluated against four different use cases of driver behavior.The results show that the best prediction accuracy is achieved in the case of drivers without glasses.The proposed model yielded optimal accuracy when evaluated against the K-Nearest Neighbors(KNN)and Support Vector Machines(SVM)models with and without using dimensionality reduction approaches. | Yuzhou Li Chuanxia Sun Yinglei Hu | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,5: | 0 |
