8Dispersion relation and surface gravity of universal horizons显示文摘In Einstein-aether theory,violating Lorentz invariance permits some super-luminal communications,and the universal horizon can trap excitations traveling at arbitrarily high velocities.To better understand the nature of these universal horizons,we first modify the ray tracing method,and then use it to study their surface gravity in charged Einstein-aether black hole spacetime.Instead of the previous result by Cropp et al.,our results show that the surface gravity of the universal horizon is dependent on the specific dispersion relation,k_(uh)-2(z-1)k_(uh)/z,where z denotes the power of the leading term in the superluminal dispersion relation,characterizing different species of particles.And the associated Hawking temperatures also are different with z.These findings,which coincide with those derived by the tunneling method,provide some full understanding of black hole thermodynamics in Lorentz-violating theories.ChiKun Ding ChangQing Liu 2017Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2017,60,5:0
9Selected spherical photon orbits around a deformed Kerr black hole显示文摘In this paper, we investigate the so-called spherical photon orbits around a deformed Kerr black hole with an extra deformation parameter. The change in the azimuth ?φ and the angle of dragging of nodes per revolution ?? of a complete latitudinal oscillated orbit is calculated analytically. Finally, representative six examples orbits are plotted out to illustrate how spherical photon orbits look like and exhibit some interesting behavior. 10Outlier Detection via a Block Diagonal Product Estimator显示文摘Outlier detection is a fundamental topic in robust statistics.Traditional outlier detection methods try to find a clean subset of given size,which is used to estimate the location vector and scatter matrix,and the outliers can be flagged by the Mahalanobis distance.However,methods such as the minimum covariance determinant approach cannot be applied directly to high-dimensional data,especially when the dimension of the sample is greater than the sample size.A novel fast detection procedure based on a block diagonal partition is proposed,and the asymptotic distribution of the modified Mahalanobis distance is obtained.The authors verify the specificity and sensitivity of this procedure by simulation and real data analysis in high-dimensional settings.LI Chikun JIN Baisuo 2022Journal of Systems Science & Complexity2022,35,5:0
