| 2 | Experimental research on oil fi lm thickness and its microwave scattering during emulsifi cation显示文摘Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR) plays a major role in identifying oil spills on the sea surface.However,obtaining information of oil spill thickness(volume) is still a challenge.Emulsification is an important process affecting the thickness and normalized radar cross section(NRCS) of oil film.Experiments of crude oil emulsification with C-band fully-polarized scatterometer were conducted combining airborne hyperspectral imaging spectrometer and 3 D laser scanner observation data,to provide experimental parameters and method to support accurate remote sensing monitoring on marine oil spill.It is further proved that through quantitative homogeneous emulsified oil spill experiments,to a certain extent,the NRCS of oil film increased during the emulsification process of crude oil.The backscattering mechanism of crude oil emulsification was explored using a semi-empirical model(SEM);the change of oil film NRCS was modulated by its dielectric constant and surface roughness,in which the dielectric constant showed a dominant effect.The relationship between thickness and NRCS of oil film was studied under two experimental conditions.The differences of NRCS between oil film and adjacent seawater(Δσ~0) and the damping ratio(DR) were found to have a linear relationship with oil thickness,which were best in the vertical polarization mode(VV) at 45° incident angle during the quantitative crude oil homogeneous emulsification process.In the natural emulsification process of continuous oil spill in which oil film was mixed with both crude oil and emulsified oil,an empirical equation of oil film thickness is preliminarily established.The Δσ~0,DR,and the empirical equation of oil film thickness were applied to the marine continuous oil spill incident on a 19-3 oil platform with spaceborne SAR image and successfully explained the distribution of the relative thickness of the oil film. | Jie GUO Chenqi XU Genwang LIU Xi ZHANG Junmin MENG Guangbo REN | 2022 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2022,40,4: | 2 |
| 3 | A new oil spill detection algorithm based on Dempster-Shafer evidence theory显示文摘Features of oil spills and look-alikes in polarimetric synthetic aperture radar(SAR)images always play an important role in oil spill detection.Many oil spill detection algorithms have been implemented based on these features.Although environmental factors such as wind speed are important to distinguish oil spills and look-alikes,some oil spill detection algorithms do not consider the environmental factors.To distinguish oil spills and look-alikes more accurately based on environmental factors and image features,a new oil spill detection algorithm based on Dempster-Shafer evidence theory was proposed.The process of oil spill detection taking account of environmental factors was modeled using the subjective Bayesian model.The Faster-region convolutional neural networks(RCNN)model was used for oil spill detection based on the convolution features.The detection results of the two models were fused at decision level using Dempster-Shafer evidence theory.The establishment and test of the proposed algorithm were completed based on our oil spill and look-alike sample database that contains 1798 image samples and environmental information records related to the image samples.The analysis and evaluation of the proposed algorithm shows a good ability to detect oil spills at a higher detection rate,with an identifi cation rate greater than 75%and a false alarm rate lower than 19%from experiments.A total of 12 oil spill SAR images were collected for the validation and evaluation of the proposed algorithm.The evaluation result shows that the proposed algorithm has a good performance on detecting oil spills with an overall detection rate greater than 70%. | Tianlong ZHANG Jie GUO Chenqi XU Xi ZHANG Chuanyuan WANG Baoquan LI | 2022 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2022,40,2: | 1 |

| 5 | Upper ocean response to typhoon Kujira(2015) in the South China Sea by multiple means of observation显示文摘The impact of typhoon Kujira(2015)on the ocean environment around Yongxing Island in the South China Sea was observed using multiple-satellite sensors and on-site data.A subsurface buoy and Agro float were located to the left and lower right of the track of the typhoon.Satellite observations revealed sea surface cooling of up to 2.5℃,a maximum decrease in sea surface salinity of 2 in the main study area because of heavy rain,and increases in the chlorophyll concentration induced by the slow-moving typhoon with a maximum observed instantaneous wind speed of 35.1 m/s.The sea surface temperature to the right of the typhoon track changed more than that on the left owing to a right bias of the typhoon associated with coupling of the typhoon with wind stress on the sea surface.In the ocean interior,there was obvious downwelling at 24.7 m and upwelling at a depth of 35.7 m with the vertical entrainment and agitation of the typhoon,and the ef fects extended to different depths of up to more than 1000 m.When the typhoon passed through the main study area,the maximum flow velocity change at depths of 51 and 660 m was about 0.44 and 0.04 m/s,respectively.The typhoon af fected the flow field to a depth of 660 m as it formed and decayed in 11 h,moved at an average speed of 60 m/h,and af fected the sea surface over a range exceeding 700 km as it moved slowly and stayed at sea for 2 d.Vertical entrainment and agitation generated by the typhoon,as well as rainfall,cooled the sea surface.This inhibited the strengthening of the typhoon,but the energy transmitted to the ocean led to divergence-convergence flow from a shallow to deep layer. | GUO Jie ZHANG Tianlong XU Chenqi XIE Qiang | 2020 | Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,2: | 1 |
| 6 | Albumin-based multidrug delivery system enriched in Golgi apparatus against metastatic breast cancer显示文摘Breast cancer and metastasis remain great challenges in clinical therapy.Compared with monotherapy,combination therapy,especially mediated by nanomedicine delivery strategy,significantly improves the therapeutic efficacy and reduces undesired toxicity.Cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2)inhibitors are widely used for adjuvant chemotherapy because COX-2 is overexpressed in virtually all cancer cell lines to regulate tumor progression by catalyzing prostaglandin E2(PGE2)synthesis.This drug combination strategy is still required to be improved due to some unsatisfactory clinical trial results.Intricate processes of tumor growth and metastasis are orchestrated by multiple proteins in addition to COX-2,which are modified and transported by Golgi apparatus.Hence,disrupting the structure and function of Golgi apparatus can inhibit the secretion of tumor-related proteins and further suppress carcinoma progression and metastasis.Since COX-2 is also enriched within Golgi apparatus in tumor cells,COX-2 inhibitors and Golgi disrupting agents can be co-delivered to Golgi apparatus to maximize the synergy.In this work,we developed a human serum albumin(HSA)nanoparticle encapsulating pirarubicin(THP),retinoic acid(RA),and indomethacin(IMC),called TIR-HSA,which was observed to be localized in Golgi complex of 4T1 cells.Owing to the synergistic effect of these three drugs,TIR-HSA inhibited the proliferation,migration,and invasion of tumor cells,enhanced the apoptotic rate,and improved the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment,which remarkably regressed the tumor growth and metastasis and prolonged the survival period of 4T1-bearing mice. | Chenqi Guo Xiong Peng Ting Zhao Jiaxing Feng Zhaofei Guo Mengying Wu Rongping Zhang Xun Sun Yuan Huang Zhirong Zhang Tao Gong | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,4: | 0 |
