| 1 | Non-equilibrium between ions and electrons inside hot spots from National Ignition Facility experiments显示文摘The non-equilibrium between ions and electrons in the hot spot can relax the ignition conditions in inertial confinement fusion[Fan et al.,Phys.Plasmas 23,010703(2016)],and obvious ion-electron non-equilibrium could be observed by our simulations of high-foot implosions when the ion-electron relaxation is enlarged by a factor of 2.On the other hand,in many shots of high-foot implosions on the National Ignition Facility,the observed X-ray enhancement factors due to ablator mixing into the hot spot are less than unity assuming electrons and ions have the same temperature[Meezan et al.,Phys.Plasmas 22,062703(2015)],which is not self-consistent because it can lead to negative ablator mixing into the hot spot.Actually,this non-consistency implies ion-electron non-equilibrium within the hot spot.From our study,we can infer that ion-electron non-equilibrium exists in high-foot implosions and the ion temperature could be~9%larger than the equilibrium temperature in some NIF shots. | Zhengfeng Fan Yuanyuan Liu Bin Liu Chengxin Yu Ke Lan Jie Liu | 2017 | Matter and Radiation at Extremes2017,2,1: | 5 |

| 3 | Numerical simulation of groundwater under complex karst conditions and the prediction of roadway gushing in a coal mine:a case study in the Guang'an Longtan Reservoir in Sichuan Province, China显示文摘Numerical simulation of groundwater in karst areas has long been restricted by the difficulty of generalizing the hydrogeological conditions of reservoirs and of determining the relevant parameters due to the anisotropy and discontinuity of the karst water-bearing media in these areas. In this study, we used the Guang'an Longtan Coal mine in Sichuan as an example, and generalized the complex hydrogeological conditions in the reservoir area. A finite element numerical flow model was used to simulate current and future scenarios of roadway gushing at the bottom of the coal mine at pile number 1 + 700 m. The results show that the roadway section corresponding to valleys has a gushing quantity of 4323.8–4551.25 m^3/d before impoundment. Modeled water inflow after impoundment increased to 1.6 times the water inflow before impoundment, which threatens the impoundment as well as the roadway's normal operation. | 5 | Constructing metal-free heterophotocatalyst using two-dimensional carbon nitride sheets and violet phosphorene for highly efficient visible-light photocatalysis显示文摘Two-dimensional(2D)carbon nitride sheets(CNs)with nanoscale thickness have great potential in solar energy conversion owing to their intrinsic bandgap.However,their photocatalytic efficiency falls far below the practical requirements because the generated electron-hole pairs rapidly recombine.We construct a metal-free 2D p–n junction heterophotocatalyst from CNs and violet phosphorene(VP)using a simple electrostatic self-assembly method.The experimental results and density functional theory calculations show that the built-in electric field of the p–n junction promotes photogenerated carrier transport at the heterojunction interface,thereby promoting the separation of photogenerated electron-hole pairs.Under visible-light illumination,the visible-light photocatalytic hydrogen and CO production rates of the CNs/VP heterojunction were increased by 5.85 and 1.51 times,respectively,when compared to that of CNs.This study provides new insights into the design of metal-free heterogeneous photocatalysts with high catalytic activity。 | Yong Wang Chengxin Zeng Liting Wu Yalin Dong Yu Zhang Dingyi Yang Wen Hu Jian Hao Hongzhe Pan Rusen Yang | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,15: | 0 |

| 7 | Berberine enhances the anti-hepatocellular carcinoma effect of NK92-MI cells through inhibiting IFN-gamma-mediated PD-L1 expression显示文摘Background and aims:Berberine is one of the most promising clinically tested natural alkaloids,and immunotherapy using natural killer(NK)cells is a potentially effective treatment for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).This study aims to elucidate the effect of berberine on the anti-HCC effect of NK92-MI cells.Materials and methods:Human HCC SMMC-7721 and Hep3B cells were co-incubated with NK92-MI cells,berberine(60 or 80 mmol/L),or their combination for 36 h.To evaluate the killing effect of NK92-MI cells on HCC cells,the release of lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)in HCC cells was measured.The anti-tumor effects of berberine,NK92-MI cells,and their combinations were evaluated by MTS,EdU,Tunel,and Western blot assays.A male BALB/c nude mouse subcutaneous tumor model was used to investigate the anti-HCC effect of berberine and NK92-MI cells in vivo.Results:The LDH assay showed that berberine enhanced the cytotoxicity of NK92-MI cells on HCC cells.The combination of berberine and NK92-MI cells demonstrated more obvious anti-HCC effect than did the berberine or NK92-MI single treatment in inhibiting cell proliferation and inducing apoptosis both in vitro and in vivo.Mechanistically,the expression of programmed cell death-ligand 1(PD-L1)in HCC cells was upregulated after co-culture with NK-92MI cells.PD-L1 expression was knocked down,thereby inhibiting the proliferation and promoting apoptosis of HCC cells,and inhibited by berberine that blocked the secretion of interferon gamma(IFN-g),thereby enhancing the anti-tumor effect of NK92-MI cells.Conclusions:Current data show that the immunomodulatory role of berberine is to enhance the cytotoxic effect of NK92-MI cells and inhibit tumor immune escape by reducing the expression of PD-L1.Our study provides a rationale for the clinical application of berberine in combination with NK cells for the treatment of HCC. | Kunyuan Wang Chengxin Gu Ganxiang Yu Jiaen Lin Zhilei Wang Qianting Lu Yangzhi Xu Dan Zhao Xiaofeng Jiang Weijian Mai Shiming Liu Hui Yang | 2022 | Liver Research2022,6,3: | 0 |

| 9 | Engineering homotype heterojunctions in hard carbon to induce stable solid electrolyte interfaces for sodium-ion batteries显示文摘Developing effective strategies to improve the initial Coulombic efficiency(ICE)and cycling stability of hard carbon(HC)anodes for sodium-ion batteries is the key to promoting the commercial application of HC.In this paper,homotype heterojunctions are designed on HC to induce the generation of stable solid electrolyte interfaces,which can effectively increase the ICE of HC from 64.7%to 81.1%.The results show that using a simple surface engineering strategy to construct a homotypic amorphous Al_(2)O_(3) layer on the HC could shield the active sites,and further inhibit electrolyte decomposition and side effects occurrence.Particularly,due to the suppression of continuous decomposition of NaPF 6 in ester-based electrolytes,the accumulation of NaF could be reduced,leading to the formation of thinner and denser solid electrolyte interface films and a decrease in the interface resistance.The HC anode can not only improve the ICE but elevate its sodium storage performance based on this homotype heterojunction composed of HC and Al_(2)O_(3).The optimized HC anode exhibits an outstanding reversible capacity of 321.5mAhg^(−1) at 50mAg^(−1).The cycling stability is also improved effectively,and the capacity retention rate is 86.9%after 2000 cycles at 1Ag^(−1) while that of the untreated HC is only 52.6%.More importantly,the improved sodium storage behaviors are explained by electrochemical kinetic analysis. | Chengxin Yu Yu Li Haixia Ren Ji Qian Shuo Wang Xin Feng Mingquan Liu Ying Bai Chuan Wu | 2023 | Carbon Energy2023,5,1: | 0 |
| 10 | Plant and fungal species interactions differ between aboveground and belowground habitats in mountain forests of eastern China显示文摘Plant and fungal species interactions drive many essential ecosystem properties and processes;however,how these interactions differ between aboveground and belowground habitats remains unclear at large spatial scales.Here,we surveyed 494 pairwise fungal communities in leaves and soils by Illumina sequencing,which were associated with 55 woody plant species across more than 2,000-km span of mountain forests in eastern China.The relative contributions of plant,climate,soil and space to the variation of fungal communities were assessed,and the plant-fungus network topologies were inferred.Plant phylogeny was the strongest predictor for fungal community composition in leaves,accounting for 19.1%of the variation.In soils,plant phylogeny,climatic factors and soil properties explained 9.2%,9.0%and 8.7%of the variation in soil fungal community,respectively.The plant-fungus networks in leaves exhibited significantly higher specialization,modularity and robustness(resistance to node loss),but less complicated topology(e.g.,significantly lower linkage density and mean number of links)than those in soils.In addition,host/fungus preference combinations and key species,such as hubs and connectors,in bipartite networks differed strikingly between aboveground and belowground samples.The findings provide novel insights into cross-kingdom(plant-fungus)species co-occurrence at large spatial scales.The data further suggest that community shifts of trees due to climate change or human activities will impair aboveground and belowground forest fungal diversity in different ways. | Teng Yang Leho Tedersoo Pamela S.Soltis Douglas E.Soltis Miao Sun Yuying Ma Yingying Ni Xu Liu Xiao Fu Yu Shi Han-Yang Lin Yun-Peng Zhao Chengxin Fu Chuan-Chao Dai Jack A.Gilbert Haiyan Chu | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,5: | 0 |
| 11 | Skeleton Engineering of Isostructural 2D Covalent Organic Frameworks: Orthoquinone Redox-Active Sites Enhanced Energy Storage显示文摘The integration of redox-active sites into the skeleton of open-framework materials is an efficient strategy toward high-performance organic electrodes for energy storage devices.In this work,stepwise introduction of ketone(KT)groups to the skeletons of isostructural two-dimensional(2D)covalent organic frameworks(COFs)was realized by the condensation of 2,4,6-triformylphloroglucinol(Tp,as nodes)with a series of ditopic diamines,which contained none,one,two,and four KT moieties in each linker units,respectively.The precise control of the redox functionalities at the molecular level,combined with regular built-in channels in these KT-Tp COFs endowed them with superior capacitances and excellent rate capabilities for energy storage.In particular,2KT-Tp COF and 4KT-Tp COF electrodes exhibited high capacitances of 256 and 583 F g−1 at a discharge rate of 0.2 A g−1,respectively,which outperformed most reported COF-based electrodes.More importantly,exceptional long-term cyclabilities(>92%capacitance retention)were achieved even after 20,000 cycles at a high current density of 5 A g−1 for these KT-Tp COFs.Our results demonstrated that orthoquinone moieties rendered enhanced performance than the redox COFs with isolated carbonyl groups. | Miao Li Jingjuan Liu Yusen Li Guolong Xing Xiang Yu Chengxin Peng Long Chen | 2021 | CCS Chemistry2021,3,2: | 0 |
