| 1 | The Impact of the Linked Factors of Provenance,Tectonics and Climate on Potash Formation:An Example from the Potash Deposits of Lop Nur Depression in Tarim Basin,Xinjiang,Western China显示文摘Potash deposits commonly accumulate in highly restricted settings at the final stage of brine evaporation. This does not mean that potash deposits are formed simply as a result of the evaporation concentration of seawater or lake water, but rather as a coupling result of particular provenance, tectonics and climate activities. In this paper, we focus on the formative mechanism of the potash deposits of Lop Nur depression in Tarim Basin to interpret the detailed coupling mechanism among provenance, tectonics and climate. In terms of the provenance of Lop Nur Lake, the water of the Tarim River which displays 'potassium-rich' characteristics play an important role. In addition, the Pliocene and Lower-Middle Pleistocene clastic beds surrounding Lop Nur Lake host a certain amount of soluble potassium and thus serves as 'source beds' for potash formation. During the late Pliocene, the Lop Nur region has declined and evolved into a great lake from the previous piedmont and diluvial fan area. Since the mid Pleistocene, the great-united Lop Nur Lake has been separated and has generated a chain system consisting of Taitema Lake, Big Ear Lake and Luobei Lake which has turned into the deepest sag in Lop Nur Lake. Dry climate in Lop Nur region has increased since the Pliocene, and became extreme at the late Pleistocene. The study implies that potash formation in Lop Nur Lake depends on the optimal combination of extreme components of provenance, tectonics and climate during a shorter-term period. The optimal patterns of three factors are generally characterized by the long-term accumulation and preliminary enrichment of potassium, the occurrence of the deepest sub-depression and the appearance of an extremely arid climate in Lop Nur region. | 2 | Fault Diagnosis Based on the Updating Strategy of Interval-Valued Belief Structures显示文摘This paper presents the dynamic method for fault diagnosis based on the updating of Interval-valued belief structures(IBSs). The classical Jeffrey's updating rule and the linear updating rule are extended to the framework of IBSs. Both of them are recursively used to generate global diagnosis evidence with the form of Interval basic belief assignment(IBBA) by updating the previous evidence with the incoming evidence. The diagnosis decision can be made by global diagnosis evidence. In the process of evidence updating, the similarity factors of evidence are used to determine switching between the extended Jeffrey's and linear updating rules, and to calculate the linear combination weights. | 3 | Scalable fabrication of printed Zn//MnO2 planar micro-batteries with high volumetric energy density and exceptional safety显示文摘The rapid development of printed and microscale electronics imminently requires compatible micro-batteries(MBs)with high performance,applicable scalability,and exceptional safety,but faces great challenges from the ever-reported stacked geometry.Herein the first printed planar prototype of aqueous-based,high-safety Zn//MnO2 MBs,with outstanding performance,aesthetic diversity,flexibility and modularization,is demonstrated,based on interdigital patterns of Zn ink as anode and MnO2 ink as cathode,with high-conducting graphene ink as a metal-free current collector,fabricated by an industrially scalable screen-printing technique.The planar separator-free Zn//MnO2 MBs,tested in neutral aqueous electrolyte,deliver a high volumetric capacity of 19.3 mAh/cm^3(corresponding to 393 mAh/g)at 7.5 mA/cm^3,and notable volumetric energy density of 17.3 mWh/cm^3,outperforming lithium thin-film batteries(≤10 mWh/cm^3).Furthermore,our Zn//MnO2 MBs present long-term cyclability having a high capacity retention of 83.9%after 1300 cycles at 5 C,which is superior to stacked Zn//MnO2 batteries previously reported.Also,Zn//MnO2 planar MBs exhibit exceptional flexibility without observable capacity decay under serious deformation,and remarkably serial and parallel integration of constructing bipolar cells with high voltage and capacity output.Therefore,low-cost,environmentally benign Zn//MnO2 MBs with in-plane geometry possess huge potential as high-energy,safe,scalable and flexible microscale power sources for direction integration with printed electronics. | Xiao Wang Shuanghao Zheng Feng Zhou Jieqiong Qin Xiaoyu Shi Sen Wang Chenglin Sun Xinhe Bao Zhong-Shuai Wu | 2020 | National Science Review2020,7,1: | 5 |
| 4 | Neuroprotective effects of total saponins from Rubus parvifolius L. on cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury in rats显示文摘This study examines the neuroprotective effects and mechanisms of action of total saponins from Rubus parvifolius L. (TSRP) on focal cerebral ischemia and reperfusion injury in rats. Focal cerebral ischemia and reperfusion injury was performed in rats using the suture method. The results indicate that intragastric injection of TSRP, at 5, 10 and 20 mg/kg, could decrease neurological impairment, reduce cerebral infarct volume, diminish pathological changes, and significantly inhibit the apoptosis of neurons surrounding the ischemic area. In addition, TSRP upregulated the expression of the anti-apoptotic factor Bcl-2, at the protein and mRNA levels, and it downregulated the expression of the pro-apoptotic factor Bax, at the protein and mRNA levels. | 12 | A reactive oxygen species burst causes haploid induction in maize显示文摘Haploid induction (HI) is an important tool in crop breeding. Phospholipase A1 (ZmPLA1)/NOT LIKE DAD (NLD)/MATRILINEAL (MTL) is a key gene controlling HI in maize;however, the underlying molecular mechanism remains unclear. In this study, to dissect why loss of ZmPLA1 function could mediate HI we performed a comprehensive multiple omics analysis of zmpla1 mutant anthers by integrating transcriptome, metabolome, quantitative proteome, and protein modification data. Functional classes of significantly enriched or differentially abundant molecular entities were found to be associated with the oxidative stress response, suggesting that a reactive oxygen species (ROS) burst plays a critical role in HI. In support of this, we further discovered that a simple chemical treatment of pollen with ROS reagents could lead to HI. Moreover, we identified ZmPOD65, which encodes a sperm-specific peroxidase, as a new gene controlling HI. | 15 | Room-temperature fast assembly of 3D macroscopically porous graphene frameworks for binder-free compact supercapacitors with high gravimetric and volumetric capacitances显示文摘Synthesis and applications of three-dimensional(3 D)porous graphene frameworks(GFs)have attracted extensive interest owing to their intriguing advantages of high specific surface area,enriched porosity,excellent electrical conductivity,exceptional compressibility and processability.However,it is still challenging for economically viable,fast and scalable assembly of 3 D GFs at room-temperature.Herein,we reported a one-step scalable strategy for fast self-assembly of graphene oxide into 3 D macroscopically porous GFs,with assistance of polyoxometalates(POM)as functional cross-linker and hydrazine hydrate as reductant at room-temperature.The resulting 3 D interconnected macroporous POM-GFs uniformly decorated with ultrasmall POM nanoclusters were directly processed into binder-/additive-free film compact electrodes(1.68 g cm^(-3))with highly aligned,layer-stacked structure and electrically conductivity(622 S m-1)for high-performance supercapacitors,showing an impressive gravimetric capacitance of205 F g-1,volumetric capacitance of 334 F cm^(-3) at 1 mV s^(-1),and remarkable cycling stability with capacitance retention of 83%after 10,000 cycles,outperforming the most reported GFs.Further,the solid-state supercapacitors offered excellent gravimetric capacitance of 157 F g-1 exceptionally volumetric capacitance of 115 F cm^(-3) at 2 mV s^(-1) based on single electrode,and volumetric energy density of2.6 mWh cm^(-3).Therefore,this work will open novel opportunities to room-temperature fast assembly of 3 D porous graphene architectures for high-energy-density supercapacitors. | Sen Wang Xiao Wang Chenglin Sun Zhong-Shuai Wu | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,10: | 2 |

| 19 | Chlorophyll-based organic solar cells with improved power conversion efficiency显示文摘Chlorophylls(Chls), and associated chlorophyll derivatives, are one of the oldest, most versatile organic semiconductors found in nature. Herein, we present two easily semi-synthesized chlorophyll derivatives, namely, chlorin e6 trimethyl ester(Ce6Me3) and its copper complex(Cu–Ce6 Me3), as the p-type dopants for organic semiconductors and their impact in organic solar cells(OSCs). In our study, both Chls showed intense Soret and Q y bands in the UV-visible spectra, leading to an effect means for capturing solar light and energy. Chls also exhibited high carrier mobility owing to the partial formation of aggregates through the spin-coating process. Using Chls, we fabricated OSCs in both planar-heterojunction(PHJ) and bulkheterojunction(BHJ) solar cell configurations, together with C70/PC70 BM as electron acceptors. In PHJ solar cells, we received solar power conversion efficiencies(PCEs) of only 0.85% and 0.93% for Cu–Ce6 Me 3-and Ce6Me3-based devices, respectively, with the thickness of the donor layer at 5 nm. In BHJ cells, we achieved much higher PCEs of 1.53% and 2.05% for Cu–Ce6Me3 :PC 70 BM and Ce6Me3 :PC 70 BM respectively, where both blending ratios were set to 1:8.
