1Derailment risk and dynamics of railway vehicles in curved tracks: Analysis of the effect of failed fasteners显示文摘The effect of the fastener's failure in a railway track on the dynamic forces produced in the wheel-rail contact is studied using the simulation software VAMPIRE to assess the derailment risk of two different vehicles in two curves with distinct characteristics. First, a 3D-FEM model of a real track is constructed, paying special attention to fasteners, and calibrated with displacement data obtained experimentally during a train passage. This numerical model is subsequently used to determine the track vertical and lateral stiffness. This study evidences that although the track can practically lose its lateral stiffness as a consequence of the failure of 7 consecutive fasteners, the vehicle stability would not be necessarily compromised in the flawed zone. Moreover, the results reveal that the uncompensated acceleration and the distance along which the fasteners are failed play an important role in the dynamic behavior of the vehicle-track system, influencing strongly the risk of derailment.Silvia Morales-Ivorra Julia Irene Real Cesar Hernandez Laura Montalbain 2016Journal of Modern Transportation2016,24,1:4

4Leaching kinetics in cyanide media of Ag contained in the industrial mining-metallurgical wastes in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico显示文摘The leaching kinetics in cyanide media of the silver contained in the Dos Carlos waste tailings at the City of Pachuca de Soto, Hidalgo State, Mexico were carried out. The used material contained the following chemical composition: 56 10-6of Ag, 0.6 10 6of Au and 70.43%(by weight) of SiO2; 7.032%(by weight) of Al2O3; 2.69%(by weight) of Fe; 0.46%(by weight) of Mn; 3.98%(by weight) of K2O; 3.34%(by weight) of CaO; 2.50%(by weight) of Na2O; 0.04%(by weight) of Zn; 0.026%(by weight) of Pb. The mineralogical phases present were the following: Silica, albite, argentite, berlinite, orthoclase, potassium jarosite, and natrojarosite. In the leaching kinetics in cyanide media, and under the studied conditions, the effect of the CN concentration on the reaction rate has no effect on the whole process of alkaline cyanidation, of which the reaction order is n 0. Temperature has an effect on the cyanidation rate of the reaction, with an activation energy of 47.9 KJ/mol. At the same time, when the particle size decreases there is an increase in the reaction rate, which is inversely proportional to the particle diameter; when increasing the NaOH concentration there is an increase in the reaction rate Kexp, with a reaction order(n) of 0.215 under the studied ranges.Juan Hernandez Francisco Patino Isauro Rivera Iván Alejandro Reyes Misrael Uriel Flores Julio Cesar Juarez Martín Reyes 2014International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2014,24,5:1

6Variability in mentum deformities of Tanytarsus larvae(Diptera,Chironomidae)in a metal rich basin in Northern Mexico显示文摘Mentum deformities in chironomids have been commonly used as indicators of metal contamination in freshwater ecosystems.Incidence of these deformities suggests sublethal effects and can provide early signals of environmental deterioration. While anthropogenic metal pollution is known to lead to an increase in deformities in chironomids, natural background deformity incidence information is key to their effective use as biomonitoring tools. Here we explore the incidence of deformities from 5000 Tanytarsus(Diptera,Chironomidae)menta in relation to water physicochemical, and sediment metal(Al,As,Cu,Fe,Mn,Pb,Zn)concentration data from numerous sites in the naturally metal-rich Sonora River(NW Mexico)obtained over a two-year period.Higher metal concentrations were found in the upper basin.Higher salinity, total suspended solids and conductivity were found in the lower basin.Only As and Cu were occasionally found above published threshold effect levels(TEL).The proportion of deformities(%D)was low(2.1%)and a generalized linear model only explained 25.36%of%D variability among samples;this model included several physicochemical parameters. The only metal significantly related to deformities was Cu.Despite significant spatial and temporal variability in all metal concentrations and other physicochemical parameters in the basin,we were unable to explain a strong relationship between metal concentration and deformity incidence. Our results, based on consistent%D quantification from 5000 samples from a single taxon, suggest that natural variation in metal concentrations, even when statistically significant,is not associated with notable variations in the incidence of deformities.Orestes Carlos Bello-Gonzalez Perla Alonso-EguíaLis Cesar Arturo Ilizaliturri Hernandez Norman Mercado-Silva 2022Water Biology and Security2022,1,2:0
7Influence of Data Clouds Fusion From 3D RealTime Vision System on Robotic Group Dead Reckoning in Unknown Terrain显示文摘This paper proposes the solution of tasks set required for autonomous robotic group behavior optimization during the mission on a distributed area in a cluttered hazardous terrain. The navigation scheme uses the benefits of the original real-time technical vision system(TVS)based on a dynamic triangulation principle. The method uses TVS output data with fuzzy logic rules processing for resolution stabilization.Based on previous researches, the dynamic communication network model is modified to implement the propagation of information with a feedback method for more stable data exchange inside the robotic group.According to the comparative analysis of approximation methods,in this paper authors are proposing to use two-steps post-processing path planning aiming to get a smooth and energy-saving trajectory. The article provides a wide range of studies and computational experiment results for different scenarios for evaluation of common cloud point influence on robotic motion planning.Mykhailo Ivanov Oleg Sergyienko Vera Tyrsa Lars Lindner Wendy Flores-Fuentes Julio Cesar Rodriguez-Quinonez Wilmar Hernandez Paolo Mercorelli 2020IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2020,7,2:0
