3A super-resolution algorithm for synthetic aperture radar based on modified spatially variant apodization显示文摘The existing spatially variant apodizations(SVAs) either cannot depress the sidelobes effectively or reduce the energy of the mainlobe.To improve this,a modified SVA(MSVA) is put forward in this paper,which expands the traditional filter from 3-taps to 5-taps and sets relevant parameters according to different sampling rates to get the excellent result that satisfies constrained optimization theory.A modified super-SVA is also presented,which compares the result after the iteration with the original signal and makes the one whose amplitude is smaller as the initial value of the next iteration.This method can eliminate the sidelobes produced by the intermediate operation,so that the following bandwidth extrapolation is more available.Super-MSVA is presented based on the modified SVA and modified super-SVA,which is suitable for any Nyquist sampling rate,can extrapolate the signal bandwidth many times through iteration with a commensurate improvement in resolution,as demonstrated by the result of the experiment.NI Chong WANG YanFei XU XiangHui ZHOU ChangYi CUI PengFei 2011Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2011,54,2:2

5Soil liquefaction assessment by using hierarchical Gaussian Process model with integrated feature and instance based domain adaption for multiple data sources显示文摘For soil liquefaction prediction from multiple data sources,this study designs a hierarchical machine learning model based on deep feature extraction and Gaussian Process with integrated domain adaption techniques.The proposed model first combines deep fisher discriminant analysis(DDA)and Gaussian Process(GP)in a unified framework,so as to extract deep discriminant features and enhance the model performance for classification.To deliver fair evalu-ation,the classifier is validated in the approach of repeated stratified K-fold cross validation.Then,five different data resources are presented to further verify the model’s robustness and generality.To reuse the gained knowledge from the existing data sources and enhance the generality of the predictive model,a domain adaption approach is formu-lated by combing a deep Autoencoder with TrAdaboost,to achieve good performance over different data records from both the in-situ and laboratory observations.After comparing the proposed model with classical machine learn-ing models,such as supported vector machine,as well as with the state-of-art ensemble learning models,it is found that,regarding seismic-induced liquefaction prediction,the predicted results of this model show high accuracy on all datasets both in the repeated cross validation and Wilcoxon signed rank test.Finally,a sensitivity analysis is made on the DDA-GP model to reveal the features that may significantly affect the liquefaction.Hongwei Guo Timon Rabczuk Yanfei Zhu Hanyin Cui Chang Su Xiaoying Zhuang 2022AI in Civil Engineering2022,1,1:0

7Characteristics of patients with chronic airflow obstruction caused by solid fuel or tobacco smoke显示文摘To the Editor: Chronic airflow obstruction (CAO) is a characteristic feature of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and occurs due to airway and/or alveolar abnormalities typically associated with exposure to noxious particles or gases.[1] The major risk factor for CAO is cigarette smoking, but exposure to solid fuel likely influences CAO development. Studies have found that solid fuel exposure is associated with a high prevalence of CAO, particularly among women.[2] Comparing COPD caused by either solid fuel or tobacco smoke exposure is very significant because about 3 billion people are exposed to solid fuel smoke, and 1.01 billion people smoke tobacco, globally. 8Whole‑genome transcriptome and DNA methylation dynamics of pre‑implantation embryos reveal progression of embryonic genome activation in buffaloes显示文摘Background During mammalian pre-implantation embryonic development(PED),the process of maternal-to-zygote transition(MZT)is well orchestrated by epigenetic modification and gene sequential expression,and it is related to the embryonic genome activation(EGA).During MZT,the embryos are sensitive to the environment and easy to arrest at this stage in vitro.However,the timing and regulation mechanism of EGA in buffaloes remain obscure.Results Buffalo pre-implantation embryos were subjected to trace cell based RNA-seq and whole-genome bisulfite sequencing(WGBS)to draw landscapes of transcription and DNA-methylation.Four typical developmental steps were classified during buffalo PED.Buffalo major EGA was identified at the 16-cell stage by the comprehensive analy-sis of gene expression and DNA methylation dynamics.By weighted gene co-expression network analysis,stage-spe-cific modules were identified during buffalo maternal-to-zygotic transition,and key signaling pathways and biological process events were further revealed.Programmed and continuous activation of these pathways was necessary for success of buffalo EGA.In addition,the hub gene,CDK1,was identified to play a critical role in buffalo EGA.Conclusions Our study provides a landscape of transcription and DNA methylation in buffalo PED and reveals deeply the molecular mechanism of the buffalo EGA and genetic programming during buffalo MZT.It will lay a foundation for improving the in vitro development of buffalo embryos.Penghui Fu Du Zhang Chunyan Yang Xiang Yuan Xier Luo Haiying Zheng Yanfei Deng Qingyou Liu Kuiqing Cui Fei Gao Deshun Shi 2023Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2023,14,6:0

10Analysis of Genetic Evolution of Escherichia fergusonii显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to explore the genetic evolution of Escherichia fergusonii in different countries and regions,and to clarify the genetic relationship of E.fergusonii in different countries and regions.[Methods]Bioinformatics method and bacterial 16 S rRNA sequencing technology were used to sort out and prune 16 S rRNA genes isolated in laboratory and searched in NCBI database to construct a molecular evolutionary tree for analysis and comparison.[Results]The direction of evolution of E.fergusonii has broken through regions,and there was cross evolution among continents.The origin of E.fergusonii was the Asian continent,and its adaptability to arid climate was not strong.[Conclusions]This study revealed the genetic evolution laws of E.fergusonii in the spread and mutation of livestock and poultry diseases,and provides a theoretical reference for the prevention and treatment of the disease.Junhua LIU Yilian ZHOU Yaoxin CUI Yanfei LIU Jiande YANG 2020Agricultural Biotechnology2020,9,5:0
