1Evaluation of fault diagnosability for nonlinear uncertain systems with multiple faults occurring simultaneously显示文摘Up to present,the problem of the evaluation of fault diagnosability for nonlinear systems has been investigated by many researchers.However,no attempt has been done to evaluate the diagnosability of multiple faults occurring simultaneously for nonlinear systems.This paper proposes a method based on differential geometry theories to solve this problem.Then the evaluation of fault diagnosability for affine nonlinear systems with multiple faults occurring simultaneously is achieved.To deal with the effect of control laws on the evaluation results of fault diagnosability,a design scheme of the evaluation of fault diagnosability is proposed.Then the influence of uncertainties on the evaluation results of fault diagnosability for affine nonlinear systems with multiple faults occurring simultaneously is analyzed.The numerical simulation results are obtained to show the effectiveness of the proposed evaluation scheme of fault diagnosability.LIN Lixiong WANG Qing HE Bingwei PENG Xiafu 2020Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2020,31,3:3

8Performance of novel 3D printing tools in removing coronary-artery calcification tissue显示文摘Rotational atherectomy is an effective treatment for severe vascular calcification obstruction,and relies on high-speed grinding(typically 130,000–210,000 r/min)with miniature grinding tools to remove calcified tissue and restore blood flow.However,reports of intraoperative complications are common because of the grinding force,temperature,and debris directly acting on the body during the grinding process,which can easily cause damage to patients.In this study,three novel grinding tools were designed and fabricated and a series of experiments have been conducted to analyze the effects of tool geometry and parameters on grinding performance,that is,force,temperature,and specimen surface morphology.The results show that these tools can effectively remove simulated calcified tissue and that they have two motions,rotation and revolution,in the tube.At higher rotational speeds,grinding force and temperature increase noticeably,while the amount of debris decreases significantly.In addition,by observing the surface morphology of the specimens,we concluded that the material removal rate per unit time is influenced by both rotational speed and tool geometry,and that high rotational speed and a rough tool surface can improve the material removal rate efficiently.Chuhang Gao Zhaoju Zhu Zirui Huang Liujing Chen Lihong Lu Mingcheng Fang Yao Liu Bingwei He 2023Bio-Design and Manufacturing2023,6,4:0
9Higher plant photosynthetic capability in autumn responding to low atmospheric vapor pressure deficit显示文摘It has been long established that the terrestrial vegetation in spring has stronger photosynthetic capability than in autumn.However,this study challenges this consensus by comparing photosynthetic capability of terrestrial vegetation between the spring and autumn seasons based on measurements of 100 in situ eddy covariance towers over global extratropical ecosystems.At the majority of these sites,photosynthetic capability,indicated by light use efficiency(LUE)and apparent quantum efficiency,is significantly higher in autumn than in spring,due to lower atmosphere vapor pressure deficit(VPD)at the same air temperature.Seasonal VPD differences also substantially explain the interannual variability of the differences in photosynthetic capability between spring and autumn.We further reveal that VPD in autumn is significantly lower than in spring over 74.14% of extratropical areas,based on a global climate dataset.In contrast,LUE derived from a data-driven vegetation production dataset is significantly higher in autumn in over 61.02% of extratropical vegetated areas.Six Earth system models consistently projected continuous larger VPD values in spring compared with autumn,which implies that the impacts on vegetation growth will long exist and should be adequately considered when assessing the seasonal responses of terrestrial ecosystems to future climate conditions.Yawen Wang Wenfang Xu Wenping Yuan Xiuzhi Chen Bingwei Zhang Lei Fan Bin He Zhongmin Hu Shuguang Liu Wei Liu Shilong Piao 2021The Innovation2021,2,4:0
