1A Novel Triple-tied-cross-linked PV Array Configuration with Reduced Number of Cross-ties to Extract Maximum Power Under Partial Shading Conditions显示文摘Partial shadings cause output power reduction from Photovoltaic(PV)arrays due to mismatch losses.The selection of PV array configurations play a vital role in maximum power generation.This paper proposes a novel Triple-Tied-Cross-Linked(T-T-C-L)configuration to extract maximum power with a lesser number of cross ties than a Total-Cross-Tied(T-C-T)configuration.The performance of the proposed T-T-C-L configuration has been compared with various conventional PV array configurations,such as Series(S),Parallel(P),Series-Parallel(S-P),Bridge-Link(B-L),Honey-Comb(H-C),and T-C-T under Partial Shading Conditions(PSCs)by considering the 9×9 PV array.The PSCs considered are uneven row,column,diagonal,random,short&narrow,short&wide,long&narrow,long&wide shadings and uniform half module shading.The measures,such as open circuit voltage,short circuit current,maximum power,voltages and currents at maximum power,mismatch losses,fill factor and efficiency have been used for performance analysis of various configurations.From the results,it can be concluded that the performance of the proposed T-T-C-L configuration is optimal compared to other configurations.Tejavathu Ramesh Kandipati Rajani Anup Kumar Panda 2021CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,3:1

4Parallel inverter control using different conventional control methods and an improved virtual oscillator control method in a standalone microgrid显示文摘Partly because of advances in power electronic converters,the share of renewable energy in power generation is steadily increasing.The main medium of interface for integrating renewable energy sources to the utility grid is the power electronic inverter.Virtual oscillator control(VOC)is a time-domain approach for controlling parallel inverters in a standalone microgrid(MG).The concept is to simulate nonlinear deadzone oscillator dynamics in a system of invert-ers to ensure a stable AC MG in the absence of communication.VOC is a time-domain and self-synchronizing control-ler that simply requires the measurement of filter current,whereas traditional droop control and the virtual synchro-nous machine(VSM)require low pass filters for active and reactive power calculations.In this work,a particle swarm optimization(PSO)-based VOC method(VOC-PSO)is proposed,in which the parameters of the VOC are designed using the PSO algorithm.The system performance using droop,VSM,VOC,and VOC-PSO controllers are investigated using MATLAB and Opal-RT real-time digital simulator platforms.The results show that the proposed VOC-PSO gives improved performance over other control strategies.The efficacy of the proposed VOC-PSO control method is also demonstrated by the experimental results.Vikash Gurugubelli Arnab Ghosh Anup Kumar Panda 2022Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2022,7,1:0
