1A modified discrete element model for sea ice dynamics显示文摘Considering the discontinuous characteristics of sea ice on various scales,a modified discrete element model(DEM)for sea ice dynamics is developed based on the granular material rheology.In this modified DEM,a soft sea ice particle element is introduced as a self-adjustive particle size function.Each ice particle can be treated as an assembly of ice floes,with its concentration and thickness changing to variable sizes under the conservation of mass.In this model,the contact forces among ice particles are calculated using a viscous-elastic-plastic model,while the maximum shear forces are described with the Mohr-Coulomb friction law.With this modified DEM,the ice flow dynamics is simulated under the drags of wind and current in a channel of various widths.The thicknesses,concentrations and velocities of ice particles are obtained,and then reasonable dynamic process is analyzed.The sea ice dynamic process is also simulated in a vortex wind field.Taking the influence of thermodynamics into account,this modified DEM will be improved in the future work.LI Baohui LI Hai LIU Yu WANG Anliang JI Shunying 2014Acta Oceanologica Sinica2014,33,1:4
2Diamond semiconductor and elastic strain engineering显示文摘Diamond,as an ultra-wide bandgap semiconductor,has become a promising candidate for next-generation microelec-tronics and optoelectronics due to its numerous advantages over conventional semiconductors,including ultrahigh carrier mo-bility and thermal conductivity,low thermal expansion coefficient,and ultra-high breakdown voltage,etc.Despite these ex-traordinary properties,diamond also faces various challenges before being practically used in the semiconductor industry.This review begins with a brief summary of previous efforts to model and construct diamond-based high-voltage switching diodes,high-power/high-frequency field-effect transistors,MEMS/NEMS,and devices operating at high temperatures.Following that,we will discuss recent developments to address scalable diamond device applications,emphasizing the synthesis of large-area,high-quality CVD diamond films and difficulties in diamond doping.Lastly,we show potential solutions to modulate diamond’s electronic properties by the“elastic strain engineering”strategy,which sheds light on the future development of diamond-based electronics,photonics and quantum systems.Chaoqun Dang Anliang Lu Heyi Wang Hongti Zhang Yang Lu 2022Journal of Semiconductors2022,43,2:2

10Immune risk assessment of residual αGal in xenogeneic decellularized cornea using GTKO mice显示文摘The xenogeneic decellularized corneal matrix(DCM)was expected to be used in lamellar keratoplasty in clinic as the substitute of allogeneic cornea.After decellularization treatment,the remaining risk of xenograft rejection needed to be assessed.The galactose-α1,3-galactose,as the most abundant and closely rejection-related xenogeneic antigen,should be one of the important factors concerned in immunological evaluation.In this study,residual αGal in the DCM was first determined by an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method with qualified accuracy and specificity.Then the DCM was implanted subcutaneously into the α1,3-galactosyltransferase gene-knockout(GTKO)mice,accompanied by the implantation in the wild-type C57BL/6 mice as a comparison.The total serum antibody levels,anti-Gal antibody levels,inflammatory cytokines and ratios of splenic lymphocyte subtypes were detected and the histopathological analysis of implants were performed to systematically evaluate the immune responses.The experimental result showed the fresh porcine corneal matrix samples had(9.90±1.54)×10^12 αGal epitope per mg while the content of residual aGal in the DCM was(7.90±2.00)×10^12 epitope per mg.The GTKO mice had similar potential of reaction to immune stimulation to that of wild-type C57BL/6 mice.At 4 weeks after implantation of DCM,in WT mice and GTKO mice there were both innate immunity response to the DCM characterized by macrophage infiltration.But the elevations of anti-Gal IgG level and the percentage of splenic natural killer cells were only detected in GTKO mice.These changes were thought to be pertinent to the residual αGal antigen,which could not be detected in WT mice.No further αGal antibody-mediated cellular immunity and significant changes of serum cytokine contents were found in GTKO mice,which perhaps suggested that the immune reactions to the DCM after 4 weeks of implantation were moderate and had minor effect on the survival of the corneal graft.Liang Chen Lina Wei Anliang Shao Liming Xu 2020Regenerative Biomaterials2020,7,4:0
11CoS_2 Yolk-Shell Spheres Coated with Carbon Thin Layers as High Active and Stable Electrocatalysts for Hydrogen Evolution Reaction显示文摘Though water electrolysis is effective in generating high-quality hydrogen gas,it requires effective electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).CoS_2 have been considered as a promising HER electrocatalyst because of its high ctalytic activity.However,the key limitation for CoS_2 nanomaterial as HER electrocatalyst is its poor stability,which may be due to the structural breakdown of CoS_2 nanostructure or the evolution of S during H_2 evolution in acid media.Coating porous carbon thin layer for protection from structural breakdown and evolution of S is a good way to improve catalytic stability.In addition,coating carbon layer can change electronic structure of CoS_2 for the moderated hydrogen adsorption energy,leading to enhanced catalytic activity.Here,CoS_2 yolk-shell spheres coated with carbon thin layers exhibit superior catalytic performance for HER with low overpotential,small Tafel slope,and excellent stability.Wang Anliang Tong Yexiang Li Gaoren 2018Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics2018,35,4:0

13New self-calibration schemes for accelerometers in platform INS显示文摘To ensure success of precise navigation, it is necessary to carry out in-field calibration for the accelerometers in platform inertial navigation system(PINS) before a mission is launched.Traditional continuous self-calibration methods are not fit for fast calibration of accelerometers because the platform misalignments have to be estimated precisely and the nonlinear coupling terms will affect accuracy. The multi-position methods with a 'shape of motion' algorithm also have some existing disadvantages: High precision calibration results cannot be obtained when the accelerometer's output data are used directly and it is difficult to optimize the calibration scheme. Focusing on this field, this paper proposes new fast self-calibration methods for the accelerometers of PINS. A data compression filter is employed to improve the accuracy of parameter estimation because it is impossible to obtain non-biased estimation for accelerometer parameters when using the 'shape of motion' algorithm. Besides, continuous calibration schemes are designed and optimized by the genetic algorithm(GA) to improve the observability of parameters. 15Minimizing the filtration loss of water-based drilling fluid with sustainable basil seed powder显示文摘Filtration control is important to ensure safe and high efficient drilling.The aim of the current research is to explore the feasibility of using basil seed powders(BSPs)to reduce filtration loss in water-based drilling fluid.The effect of BSP concentration,thermal aging temperature,inorganic salts(NaCl and CaCl_(2))on the filtration properties of bentonite/basil suspensions was investigated.The filtration control mechanism of BSP was probed via water absorbency test,zeta potential measurement,particle size distribution measurement,and filter cake morphologies observation by scanning electron microscope.The incorporation of BSPs into the bentonite suspension generated acceptable rheology below 1.0 w/v%.The BSPs exhibited effective filtration control after thermal aging at 120C,but less efficiency at 150C.After thermal aging at 120℃,the bentonite suspension containing 1.0 w/v%BSPs could resist NaCl and CaCl_(2) pollution of 5.0 w/v%and 0.3 w/v%respectively.Besides general filtration control behaviors,the exceptional water retaining capability formed by numerous nanoscale 3D networks in the basil seed gum and considerable insoluble small particles in BSPs might further contribute to the filtration control.The excellent filtration properties bring basil seed a suitable and green candidate for the establishment of high-performance drilling fluids.Hanyi Zhong Xin Gao Xianbin Zhang Anliang Chen Zhengsong Qiu Xiangzheng Kong Weian Huang 2022Petroleum2022,8,1:0
