1TiC-Maraging stainless steel composite:microstructure, mechanical and wear properties显示文摘Particulate TiC reinforced 17-4PH and 465 maraging stainless steel matrix composites were processed by con- ventional powder metallurgy (P/M). TiC-maraging stainless steel composites with theoretical density >97% were produced using conventional P/M. The microstructure, and mechanical and wear properties of the composites were evaluated. The microstructure of the composites consisted of (core-rim structure) spherical and semi-spherical TiC particles depending on the wettability of the matrix with TiC particles. In TiC-maraging stainless steel composites, 465 stainless steel binder phase showed good wettability with TiC particles. Some microcracks appeared in the composites, indicating the presence of ten- sile stresses in the composites produced during sintering. The typical properties, hardness, and bend strength were reported for the composites. After heat treatment and aging, an increase in hardness was observed. The increase in hardness was at- tributed to the aging reaction in maraging stainless steel. The specific wear behavior of the composites strongly depends on the content of TiC particles and their interparticle spacing, and on the heat treatment of the maraging stainless steel.Akhtar Farid Khadijah Ali Shah Syed Javid Askari 2006Rare Metals2006,25,6:6
2Rheostatic Control of ABA Signaling through HOS15-Mediated OST1 Degradation显示文摘Dehydrating stresses trigger the accumulation of abscisic acid(ABA),a key plant stress-signaling hormone that activates Snf1-Related Kinases(SnRK2s)to mount adaptive responses.However,the regulatory circuits that terminate the SnRK2s signal relay after acclimation or post-stress conditions remain to be defined.Here,we show that the desensitization of the ABA signal is achieved by the regulation of OST1(SnRK2.6)protein stability via the E3-ubiquitin ligase HOS15.Upon ABA signal,HOS15-induced degradation of OST1 is inhibited and stabilized OST1 promotes the stress response.When the ABA signal terminates,protein phosphatases ABI1/2 promote rapid degradation of OST1 via HOS15.Notably,we found that even in the presence of ABA,OST1 levels are also depleted within hours of ABA signal onset.The unexpected dynamics of OST1 abundance are then resolved by systematic mathematical modeling,demonstrating a desensitizing feedback loop by which OST1-induced upregulation of ABI1/2 leads to the degradation of OST1.This model illustrates the complex rheostat dynamics underlying the ABA-induced stress response and desensitization.Akhtar Ali Jae Kyoung Kim Masood Jan Haris Ali Khan Irfan Ullah Khan Mingzhe Shen Junghoon Park Chae Jin Lim Shah Hussain Dongwon Baek Kai Wang Woo Sik Chung Vicente Rubio Sang Yeol Lee Zhizhong Gong Woe Yeon Kim Ray ABressan Jose MPardo Dae-Jin Yun 2019Molecular Plant2019,12,11:5
3History of cupping(Hijama):a narrative review of literature显示文摘Cupping(Hijama in Arabic) is an ancient, holistic method for the treatment of a variety of diseases. Though the exact origin of cupping therapy is a matter of controversy, its use has been documented in early Egyptian and Chinese medical practices. Diverse human civilizations have contributed to the historical development and continuation of cupping therapy. This narrative review describes the history of cupping, historical definitions, cupping instruments and uses of cupping therapy. Electronic searches of relevant databases(Pub Med, Google Scholar and Ovid SP) were conducted using keywords and Boolean operators. Manual searches and references of published articles and books were also conducted. A number of articles(N = 625) were retained for extensive review, and finally 83 articles were included in this paper. The historical descriptions of cupping therapy were found in ancient human civilizations of the Eastern and Western world. There were inconsistent data concerning the origin of cupping, definitions, instruments, procedures, definite advancements and research in Hijama over centuries. Cupping therapy fell out of favor in 17 th and mid-18 th centuries but recovered popularity in modern medicine. Currently, cupping therapy is used for health promotion, prophylaxis and treatment of a variety of diseases around the world. Cupping therapy with a good safety profile has a checkered history and is a well-recognized traditional method for managing medical conditions. 4Elemental composition of rice using calibration free laser induced breakdown spectroscopy显示文摘In this paper, we apply laser induce breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) to determine the elemental composition of different parts(root, stem and seed) of the rice plant and determine their weighted concentration using calibration free laser induced breakdown spectroscopy (CF-LIBS) technique. Ca, Fe and K are identified as major elements, while C, Ti, Mg, Si, Li, Ba, Sr, Cr, Na and Al as minor elements. We also detect the H-alpha line of hydrogen in the spectrum and determine the electron number density. The electron number density and its behavior as a function of laser energy, laser wavelength and the detector position are investigated. 6水热法制备MoO3⁃GQDs的三甲胺气敏性能显示文摘采用水热法制备了一系列具有不同碳量子点(GQDs)含量的MoO3‑GQDs纳米复合材料,利用X射线衍射、扫描电子显微镜、透射电子显微镜、FTIR等对MoO3‑GQDs复合材料进行了表征,研究了其气敏性能。结果表明,复合材料中GQDs的含量对MoO3‑GQDs复合材料的气敏响应和选择性有显著影响。MoO3‑GQDs纳米复合材料(S‑6,GQDs悬浮液的含量为6 mL)传感器在230℃时对三甲胺(TMA)表现出高的气敏响应和好的气敏选择性;该传感器对1000μL·L^-1 TMA的响应为74.08;对1000μL·L^-1 TMA的响应时间和恢复时间分别为73和34 s;S‑6复合材料气敏传感器在230℃时可以检测到1μL·L^-1的TMA。Ali Akhtar 戴芃 储向峰 梁士明 何利芳 2021无机化学学报2021,37,2:2
7The electronic and magnetic properties of wurtzite Mn:CdS, Cr:CdS and Mn:Cr:CdS: first principles calculations显示文摘In this article, density functional theory(DFT) based on generalized gradient approximation(GGA)and GGACU, U is Hubbard term, is used to study the electronic properties of CdS doped with different dopants(Cr, Mn). The calculations are carried out for Mn-doped CdS, Cr-doped CdS, and co-doping of Mn/Cr in CdS simultaneously. It is found that hopping of electrons is possible with Cr:CdS and Mn:Cr:CdS while Mn:CdS does not allow the hopping of electrons. Moreover, double exchange interactions are observed in Cr:CdS and d-d superexchange interactions are observed in Mn:CdS. Now the problem becomes interesting when one magnetic ion(Cr) supporting double exchange interactions and another ion(Mn) supporting d-d super-exchange interactions are doped simultaneously in the same system(CdS). The co-doped CdS is more stable even at high Curie temperature due to p-d double exchange interactions and d-d super exchange interactions.
