| 1 | Environmental risk factors for inflammatory bowel diseases: Evidence based literature review显示文摘AIM: To advances in genetics and immunology have contributed to the current understanding of the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel diseases(IBD). METHODS: The current opinion on the pathogenesis of IBD suggests that genetically susceptible individuals develop intolerance to dysregulated gut microflora(dysbiosis) and chronic inflammation develops as a result of environmental insults. Environmental exposures are innumerable with varying effects during the life course of individuals with IBD. Studying the relationship between environmental factors and IBD may provide the missing link to increasing our understanding of the etiology and increased incidence of IBD in recent years with implications for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Environmental factors are heterogeneous and genetic predisposition, immune dysregulation, or dysbiosis do not lead to the development of IBD in isolation. RESULTS: Current challenges in the study of environmental factors and IBD are how to effectively translate promising results from experimental studies to humans in order to develop models that incorporate the complex interactions between the environment, genetics, immunology, and gut microbiota, and limited high quality interventional studies assessing the effect of modifying environmental factors on the natural history and patient outcomes in IBD.CONCLUSION: This article critically reviews the current evidence on environmental risk factors for IBD and proposes directions for future research. | Ayokunle T Abegunde Bashir H Muhammad Owais Bhatti Tauseef Ali | 2016 | World Journal of Gastroenterology2016，22，27： | 11 |

| 3 | Real-time visual inspection system for grading fruits using computer vision and deep learning techniques显示文摘Traditional manual visual grading of fruits has been one of the important challenges faced by the agricultural industry due to its laborious nature as well as inconsistency in inspec-tion and classification process.Automated defects detection using computer vision and machine learning has become a promising area of research with a high and direct impact on the domain of visual inspection.In this study,we propose an efficient and effective machine vision system based on the state-of-the-art deep learning techniques and stack-ing ensemble methods to offer a non-destructive and cost-effective solution for automat-ing the visual inspection of fruits’freshness and appearance.We trained,tested and compared the performance of various deep learning models including ResNet,DenseNet,MobileNetV2,NASNet and EfficientNet to find the best model for the grading of fruits.The proposed system also provides a real time visual inspection using a low cost Raspberry Pi module with a camera and a touchscreen display for user interaction.The real time sys-tem efficiently segments multiple instances of the fruits from an image and then grades the individual objects(fruits)accurately.The system was trained and tested on two data sets(apples and bananas)and the average accuracy was found to be 99.2% and 98.6% using EfficientNet model for apples and bananas test sets,respectively.Additionally,a slight improvement in the recognition rate(0.03% for apples and 0.06% for bananas)was noted while applying the stacking ensemble deep learning methods.The performance of the developed system has been found higher than the existing methods applied to the same data sets previously.Further,during real-time testing on actual samples,the accuracy was found to be 96.7% for apples and 93.8% for bananas which indicates the efficacy of the developed system. | Nazrul Ismail Owais A.Malik | 2022 | Information Processing in Agriculture2022，9，1： | 3 |
