1Evolution of strontium isotopic composition of sea-water from Late Permian to Early Triassic based on study of marine carbonates,Zhongliang Mountain,Chongqing,China显示文摘Collected from a Late Permian to Early Triassic sedimentary section in the Zhongliang Mountain of Chongqing, Southwest China, sixty marine carbonate samples were measured for the 87Sr/86Sr ratios, and corresponding evolution curve was constructed. The concentrations of SiO2, CaO, MgO, Mn and Sr are used to evaluate reservation of strontium isotopic composition for original seawater and the credi-bility of the dissolution method for sample preparation. The results show that most of the samples (except seven samples with the Mn/Sr ratios higher than 2) contain the original geochemistry signa-tures of ancient seawater. Compared to the published 87Sr/86Sr ratios from the Late Permian to Early Triassic, our database reported here is the largest and the curve constructed is the most complete. The strontium isotopic curve from Late Permian to Early Triassic is consistent globally and exhibits a gen-eral trend of steady increase during this period. The minimum of 87Sr/86Sr ratios (0.707011) occurs in the Late Permian (30 m in thickness below the Permian-Triassic boundary), and the maximum (0.708281), near the Early-Middle Triassic boundary. The lack of land plants and the rapid continental weathering result in the increase of 87Sr/86Sr ratios during the interval. The Permian-Triassic boundary in Zhongli-ang Mountain Section has been accepted internationally. The 87Sr/86Sr ratios of six samples near the boundary vary from 0.70714 to 0.70715 with an average of 0.70714, which is consistent with the value of 0.70715 (samples are from articulate brachiopod shells) from Korte et al. published in 2006 (within the error range in experiment). Accordingly, the strontium isotope composition in the Permian-Triassic boundary in this paper is of global significance. 2Form-fnding methods for deployable mesh reflector antennas显示文摘Deployable high-frequency mesh reflector antennas for future communications and observations are required to obtain high gain and high directivity.In order to support these new missions,reflectors with high surface accuracy are widely required.The form-fnding analysis of deployable mesh reflector antennas becomes more vital which aims to determine the initial surface profle formed by the equilibrium prestress distribution in cables to satisfy the surface accuracy requirement.In this paper,two form-fnding methods for mesh reflector antennas,both of which include two steps,are proposed.The frst step is to investigate the prestress design only for the cable net structure as the circumferential nodes connected to the supporting truss are assumed fxed.The second step is to optimize the prestress distribution of the boundary cables connected directly to the supporting truss considering the elastic deformation of the antenna structure.Some numerical examples are carried out and the simulation results demonstrate the proposed form-fnding methods can warrant the deformed antenna reflector surface matches the one by design and the cable tension forces fall in a specifed range.Li Tuanjie Jiang Jie Deng Hanqing Lin Zhanchao Wang Zuowei 2013Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,5:15

4Geochemical characteristics of the Permian Changxing Formation reef dolomites,northeastern Sichuan Basin,China显示文摘The recent discovery of deep and ultra-deep gas reservoirs in the Permian Changxing Formation reefs, northeastern Sichuan Basin is a significant development in marine carbonate oil & gas exploration in China. Reef dolomites and their origins have been major research topics for sedimentologists and oil & gas geologists. The petrography, trace element and isotope geochemistry of the reef dolomites indicated that the dolomites are characterized by low Sr and Mn contents, relatively low Fe contents, very similar δ 13 C and δ 18 O values and very different 87 Sr/ 86 Sr ratios. Although the calculated results of the fluid mixing suggested that a mixture with 85%-95% meteoric water and 5%-15% seawater seemed to be the dolomitizing fluids of the reef dolomites, the low Mn contents, relatively low Fe contents, high δ 13 C values and high homogenization temperatures of the dolomites did not support that there were large proportions of meteoric water in the dolomitization process, and the 87 Sr/ 86 Sr ratios which were close to coeval seawater also did not support the possibility of the mixture of deep-burial circulated fluids from clastic rocks. High temperature deep-burial circulated seawater with low Mn and Fe contents, high Sr content and high δ 13 C values from the dissolution of widely distributed Triassic evaporites during the burial diagenetic processes (including dehydration of water-bearing evaporites) could have been the dolomitizing fluids of the reef dolomites.Hu Zuowei Huang Sijing Li Zhiming Zhang Yingying Xu Ershe Qi Shichao 2013Petroleum Science2013,10,1:6
5Evolution and global correlation for strontium isotopic composition of marine Triassic from Huaying Mountains,eastern Sichuan,China显示文摘Strontium isotope stratigraphy (SIS) has progressively become an efficient chemostratigraphic tool in the research and correlation of global geological events, such as global sea level fluctuations, orogeny, and paleoclimatic and paleoenvironmental changes. In this paper, 87Sr/86Sr ratios of the Triassic marine carbonate rock samples from Huaying Mountains, eastern Sichuan are measured, and the corre-sponding Sr-isotopic curve is constructed, based on the fundamental principle of strontium isotope stratigraphy, analysis of rock fabric, luminescent intensity, chemical composition and representative evaluation for the coeval seawater information. The 87Sr/86Sr ratios show a rapid rise from 0.70721 near the Permian-Triassic transition to 0.70830 at the end of Early Triassic, and then they decline rapidly to 0.70787 in the early Middle Triassic. These data are generally coincident with 87Sr/86Sr ratios of coeval seawater from previous papers, and the curve is also similar to other previous curves. 6Pharmacokinetics and radiation dosimetry of ^(99m)Tc-3PRGD_2 in healthy individuals:A pilot study显示文摘99mTc-3PRGD2 is a new SPECT radiotracer for several tumor imaging with high uptake where integrinαvβ3 is highly expressed.This pilot study was to assess the safety,biodistribution and radiation dosimetry of 9,mTc-3PRGD2 in healthy volunteers.The 10 healthy male volunteers were injected with 99mTc-3PRGD2(786.7±55.8 MBq,19.1-24.2 mCi).Baseline measurements of vital signs,laboratory safety tests and 12-lead electrocardiogram were recorded before and after injection.Blood and urine samples were collected and radiation counts were obtained at various time points.Whole-body scans and ROIs of identified organs were used for visual analysis and estimating the radiation dosimetry.No adverse reactions were found during the study.99mTc-3PRGD2 exhibited a rapid clearance from the blood with less than 45%of the initial dosage at 10 min after injection and gradual increasing radioactivity in urine with(52.9±6)%of original dose at 1440 min.The whole-body imaging showed high radioactive accumulation in bladder.And the highest 99mTc-3PRGD2 uptake was found in the kidneys(3.50×10-2 mSv/MBq).The 99mTc-3PRGD2 exhibited good pharmacokinetic properties and little radiation burden.This study showed that 99mTc-3PRGD2 would be a safe and attractive SPECT agent in clinic applications.CHENG Guanghui GAO Shi JI Tiefeng MA Qingjie JIA Bing CHEN Zuowei WANG Qing 2012Nuclear Science and Techniques2012,23,6:5

8Blocking Features for Two Types of Cold Events in East Asia显示文摘Cold air outbreaks(CAOs)always hit East Asia during boreal winter and have significant impacts on human health and public transport.The amplitude and route of CAOs are closely associated with blocking circulations over the Eurasian continent.Two categories of CAOs are recognized,namely,the ordinary cold wave events(CWEs)and the extensive and persistent extreme cold events(EPECEs),with the latter having even stronger impacts.The blocking features associated with these two types of CAOs and their differences are investigated in this study on the intraseasonal timescale.What these two CAOs do have in common is that they are both preceded by the intensification and recurrence of a blocking high over the midlatitude North Atlantic.The difference between these events is primarily reflected on the spatial scale and duration of the corresponding blocking high.During the CWEs,blocking occurs around the Ural Mountains,and exhibits a regional feature.The resulting cold air temperature persists for only up to 8 days.In contrast,during the EPECEs,the blocking region is quite extensive and is not only confined around the Ural Mountains but also extends eastward into Northeast Asia in a southwest–northeast orientation.As a result,the cold air tends to accumulate over a large area and persists for a much longer time.The blocking activity is primarily induced by an increased frequency and eastward extension of the synoptic anticyclonic Rossby wave breaking(AWB).Compared with the CWEs,characterized by a regional and short-lived synoptic AWB frequency,the EPE-CEs tend to be accompanied by more recurrent and eastward extensions of the synoptic AWB.Zuowei XIE Cholaw BUEH 2017Journal of Meteorological Research2017,31,2:5
9A Novel Identification of the Polar/Eurasia Pattern and Its Weather Impact in May显示文摘The Polar/Eurasia(POL) pattern was previously identified based on the empirical orthogonal function method and monthly mean data, in which the positive and negative phases are anti-symmetric in spatial distribution. This paper identifies the positive(POL+) and negative(POL-) phases of the POL pattern through applying a novel approach, i.e.,self-organizing maps, to daily 500-h Pa geopotential height fields in May over 1948–2017. The POL+, POL1-, and POL2-patterns defined by this method represent actual physical modes. The POL+ pattern features a wave train from the northeastern Atlantic/northern Europe via the subarctic regions of Eurasia to Lake Baikal. The POL1-pattern is characterized by a planetary-scale dipole pattern with a positive anomaly band over subarctic Eurasia and a negative anomaly band from central Asia to the Sea of Okhotsk. The anomaly centers of the POL2-pattern are basically antisymmetrical to those of the POL+ pattern. The POL+ pattern increases the blocking frequency over the northeastern Atlantic/northern Europe and northeastern Asia, where high-frequency transient eddies are highly recurrent in the north. Accordingly, precipitation increases apparently in the subarctic Asian continent and western Siberia, and decreases around Europe and Lake Baikal. A mimic wave train is also observed in the surface air temperature anomaly field. During the POL1-period, the blocking frequency is abnormally high over Eurasia, whereas high-frequency transient eddies are apparently suppressed over northern Eurasia. Correspondingly, significant precipitation deficits are observed in northern Eurasia. The POL1-pattern also causes a remarkable temperature increase in the subarctic seas of Eurasia and a considerable temperature drop in the midlatitude Asian continent. As the POL2-pattern prevails, the blocking frequency decreases over the North Atlantic/Europe but strengthens over the Asian continent. 11Carbon isotope composition and comparison of Lower Triassic marine carbonate rocks from Southern Longmenxia section in Guang'an, Sichuan Basin显示文摘The Early Triassic was a period of ecological restoration for the earth's system after the end-Permian mass extinction.Geochemical records linked to the variations in marine ecosystems during this period have attracted the interest of geologists for many years.Based on petrographic analysis of samples and evaluations of their reliability as proxies for original seawater,this study investigated the carbon and oxygen isotopic compositions of 350 carbonate rock samples from the Lower Triassic(and adjacent strata)in the southern Longmenxia section of Guang'an,eastern Sichuan Basin.The results indicate that the Triassic carbonate rocks from the southern Longmenxia section favorably preserved the original seawater'sδ^(13)C signal.Furthermore,carbon and oxygen isotopic compositions are found to be poorly correlated,with a determination coefficient as low as 0.0205 and only 44 rock samples show results of Mn/Sr>2 and/orδ^(18)0<-6.5‰.The complete carbon isotopic curve for the Lower Triassic is established using the data from the remaining 306 samples with Mn/Sr<2 and/orδ^(18)O>-6.5‰.This curve presents favorable comparability on a global scale,specifically in theδ^(13)C minima near the Permian-Triassic boundary,at the top of the Jia1 and within the the Jia3,as well as in theδ^(13)C maxima at the tops of the Ye1 and Ye4,at the base of the Jia2 and at the top of the Ye3.The peaks and troughs corresponding to these maxima and minima all reflect global signals.By comparing these results to previous research on coeval carbon isotopic curves established within the chronostratigraphic framework,the ages of these critical evolution points are determined.The results show that the Ye1 roughly corresponds to the Griesbachian substage;the Ye2 through Ye4 correspond to the Dienerian substage;Jial corresponds to the Smithian substage;from the Jia2 to the lower part of the Jia4 correspond to the Spathian substage;and the middle and upper parts of the Jia4 belongs to the Aegean Substage of the Middle Triassic.Around the boundary between the Jial and Jia2(which represents the Smithian-Spathian boundary(SSB)),the value ofδ^(13)C increases rapidly from-0.911‰to 3.679‰.The span during which the seawater's carbon isotope experiences this drastic change may be less than36 kyr.The oxygen isotope,which is more sensitive to sedimentary environmental changes,exhibits changes prior to the carbon isotope near the SSB,indicating a significant increase in the salinity of the seawater before a sharp rise in the carbon isotope;this event leads to the formation of evaporites and dolomites.HUANG SiJing HUANG KeKe ZHONG YiJiang LI XiaoNing MAO XiaoDong HU ZuoWei LIU SiBing ZHANG Meng WU WenHui 2017Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,1:4
12Temperatures of dolomitizing fluids in the Feixianguan Formation from the Northeastern Sichuan Basin显示文摘The discovery of natural gas reservoirs from the Triassic Feixianguan Formation in the Northeastern Sichuan Basin is an important breakthrough in the field of marine carbonate rocks for Chinese oil and gas exploration in recent years.Because of the dolomite-hosted reservoirs in the Feixianguan Formation,these dolomites and their formation mechanisms have been a research focus for sedimentary geologists and petroleum geologists.Based on the homogenization temperatures of fluid inclusions,oxygen isotopic composition and their calculated temperatures,and the burial and thermal history of the typical well,it is considered that the majority of dolomites are formed by low-temperature dolomitizing fluids in the Triassic Feixianguan Formation,Northeastern Sichuan Basin.Only a minority of dolomites are formed by high-temperature dolomitizing fluids.The ending depth interval of low-temperature dolomitizing fluids was about 1000-2500 m,of which the correspondingly ending timing interval was approximately from early-middle Middle Triassic to early-middle Late Triassic.The main depth interval of high-temperature dolomitizing fluids was about 3200-4500 m,of which the correspondingly main timing interval was approximately early-middle Middle Jurassic.The low-temperature and high-temperature dolomitizing fluids have different meanings to the formation and evolution of the pore volumes of dolomite reservoirs in the Feixianguan Formation,Northeastern Sichuan Basin.HU ZuoWei HUANG SiJing LI ZhiMing QING HaiRuo FAN Ming LAN YeFang 2012Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,10:4

14^(99m)Tc-3P_4 -RGD_2 radiotracers for SPECT/CT of esophageal tumor显示文摘In recent years,several RGD(Arg-Gly-Asp)-based radiotracers have already been successfully tested in human for the visualization of integrin αvβ3,demonstrating its feasibility in tumor diagnosis.In this paper,we evaluated the 99mTc-3P4-RGD2 single photon emission computed tomography/computerized tomography(SPECT/CT)in patients suffering from space occupying disease of esophagus.40 patients(34 males and 6 female;mean age: 58.3 years) with a suspected space occupying lesion of esophagus were included,thus finally obtaining their definite pathologic diagnosis(malignant,n=32;benign,n=8).All patients underwent endoscopic,barium esophagography and SPECT/CT imaging preoperatively.The chest SPECT was performed at 4 h after administration of99mTc-3P4-RGD2 with a dose of 939±118 MBq.The diagnosis precision,sensitivity and specificity among these methods were compared.The relationship between radioactive uptake and clinical pathological stage of esophageal carcinoma was discussed by calculating the tumor to normal esophagus(T/N).Meanwhile,the integrin αvβ3 expression was assessed immunohistochemically in postoperative esophageal tissues.31 patients were diagnosed as esophageal carcinoma;and 1,leiomyosarcoma;and 6.leimyoma;and 2,esophageal tuberculosis.The accuracy,sensitivity and specificity of barium esophagography,endoscopic and SPECT/CT imaging are 92.5/93.8/87.5%,97.5/96.9/100%,and 90/90.6/87.5%,respectively.Abnormal accumulation of radiotracer in 29 malignant lesions is observed.The SPECT/CT imaging displayed the region of radioactive uptake and lesions matched extremely with the T/N ratio from 1.31 to 2.79(mean 2.04).A case with pulmonary metastases and a case with mediastinal lymph node metastases were found which were missed by barium esophagography and endoscopic.The99mTc-3P4-RGD2 uptake of the esophageal carcinoma masses had no relevance to the tumor pathologic classification(P>0.05).There was a significant positive correlation between T/N ratio and positive cell percentage of integrin αvβ3(r=0.976),demonstrating the certain clinical potential in the diagnosis of esophageal carcinoma.GAO Shi MA Qingjie WEN Qiang JIA Bing LIU Zhaofei CHEN Zuowei ZHANG Haishan LI Dandan 2013Nuclear Science and Techniques2013,24,4:3
153D Shape Reconstruction of Lumbar Vertebra From Two X-ray Images and a CT Model显示文摘Structure reconstruction of 3 D anatomy from biplanar X-ray images is a challenging topic. Traditionally, the elastic-model-based method was used to reconstruct 3 D shapes by deforming the control points on the elastic mesh. However, the reconstructed shape is not smooth because the limited control points are only distributed on the edge of the elastic mesh.Alternatively, statistical-model-based methods, which include shape-model-based and intensity-model-based methods, are introduced due to their smooth reconstruction. However, both suffer from limitations. With the shape-model-based method, only the boundary profile is considered, leading to the loss of valid intensity information. For the intensity-based-method, the computation speed is slow because it needs to calculate the intensity distribution in each iteration. To address these issues, we propose a new reconstruction method using X-ray images and a specimen’s CT data. Specifically, the CT data provides both the shape mesh and the intensity model of the vertebra. Intensity model is used to generate the deformation field from X-ray images, while the shape model is used to generate the patient specific model by applying the calculated deformation field.Experiments on the public synthetic dataset and clinical dataset show that the average reconstruction errors are 1.1 mm and1.2 mm, separately. 16IL1RN promotes osteoblastic differentiation via interacting with ITGB3 in osteoporosis显示文摘The occurrence and progress of osteoporosis(OP)are partially caused by impaired osteoblast differentiation.Interleukin-I receptor antagonist(IL1RN)is an immune modulatory molecule that commonly functions by means of competing the binding site of IL-1R with IL-1.Although it was recently reported that IL1RN is involved in osteoblast differentiation,the role of IL1RN in osteogenesis remains unclear.In this work,we first investigated the expression pattern of IL1RN in ovariectomy mice and in vitro osteogenic induction of MC3T3-E1 and C3H10T1/2 cells.To verify the exact role of IL1RN in osteoblast differentiation,we established IL1RN-downregulated/upregulated cell lines.The results indicated that IL1RN was constantly expressed in MC3T3-E1 and C3H10T1/2 cells.Interestingly,an increase of IL1RN expression in osteoblasts occurred when osteoblasts were cultured in osteogenic medium(OM).As expected,silencing of IL1RN attenuated the osteogenic effect of OM,while IL1RN overexpression increased the osteogenic staining and promoted the expression of osteogenic markers,including alkaline phosphatase,osterix,and osteocalcin.In addition to evaluating the function of IL1RN in osteoblasts,we also investigated the molecular mechanism of the role of IL1RN in osteoblasts.We found that IL1RN interacts with integrinβ3 to activateβ-catenin signaling,which finally regulates osteoblast differentiation.Taken together,this study provides the framework that IL1RN,as a novel regulator of osteogenesis,may be a potential therapeutic target for the treatment of OP.Zehua Zou Ruixuan Liu Yiwen Wang Yufei Xing Zuowei Shi Kaifu Wang Daming Dong 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,3:3
17Influence of amplified spontaneous emission and fluorescence of β-carotene on stimulated Raman scattering of carbon disulfide显示文摘β-carotene with double fluorescence characteristics and large third-order optical nonlinearities,which is dissolved in the carbon disulfide(CS2) as the core medium of a liquid core optical fiber(LCOF),is applied in the study of the CS2 stimulated Raman scattering(SRS). The results of this study show that when the concentrations of solution are more than 3.72×10-7 mol/L,the amplified spontaneous emis-sion(ASE) of β-carotene is the main factor influencing the threshold and intensity of Stokes lines; when the concentrations of solution are lower than 3.72×10-7 mol/L,the ASE disappears and the fluorescence plays the key role:The high-order Stokes lines may be observed at very low input-laser power,and the Stokes thresholds decrease as the solution concentration increases. 20Unique chemical properties of metal-carbon bonds in metal-carboranyl and metal-carboryne complexes显示文摘The metal-carbon bonds in metal-carboranyl and metal-carboryne complexes behave very differently from those in classical organometallic complexes. The unique electronic and steric properties of ico-sahedral carboranyl moiety make the M-C bond in metal-carboranyl complexes inert toward unsaturated molecules, and on the other hand, the sterically demanding carborane cage can induce unexpected C-C coupling reactions. The M-C bonds in metal-carboryne complexes are, however, active toward various kinds of unsaturated molecules and the reactivity patterns are dependent upon the electronic configurations of the metal ions.
