| 2 | Improved thermal conductivity and dielectric properties of flexible PMIA composites with modified micro-and nano-sized hexagonal boron nitride显示文摘A series of flexible poly(m-phenylene isophthalamide)(PMIA)-based composites with different sizes and mass fractions of hexagonal boron nitride(hBN)were successfully manufactured for the first time via the casting technique.The effects of modified hBN particles on microstructure,mechanical properties,dielectric properties and thermal conductivities of fabricated composites were investigated.The results indicate that modified hBN particles manifest good compatibility with the PMIA matrix.The Young's modulus and Theat-resistance index of PMIA-based composites are increased with increasing the mass fraction of hBN particles.Due to additional thermal conductive paths and networks formed by nano-sized hBN particles,the K-m/n-hBN-30 composite displays the thermal conductivity of 0.94 W·m^-1·K^-1 higher than that of the K-m-hBN-30 composite(0.86 W·m^-1·K^-1),and more than 4 times higher than that of neat PMIA.Moreover,the obtained PMIA-based composites also show low dielectric constant and ideal dielectric loss.Owing to the excellent comprehensive performance,hBN/PMIA composites present potential applications in the broad field of electronic materials. | Cuangyu DUAN Yan WANG Junrong YU Jing ZHU Zuming HU | 2019 | Frontiers of Materials Science2019,13,1: | 3 |
| 3 | Topology optimization of continuum structures considering damage based on independent continuous mapping method显示文摘A continuum topology optimization usually produces results similar to a skeleton structure. In addition, the material utilization in the optimized structure is greatly improved compared with the original structure. On the other hand, the redundancy of the structure is greatly reduced due to the removed material. A partial local failure in the optimized structure makes it more difficult for the entire structure to meet the strength/stiffness requirements. By using the independent continuous mapping (ICM) method, with minimal weight as the objective and both stress and displacement as the respective constraints, the continuum topology optimization models can be employed, which also consider damage. A dual-sequence quadratic programming (DSQP) algorithm is used to solve the topology optimization models. Numerical examples confirm the effectiveness and feasibility of the models. The results indicate that both a good load-path and weight reduction can be obtained. In addition, compared with the structure obtained using conventional topology optimization, redundancy is improved greatly, and the strength/stiffness requirements for the structure can be satisfied for each damage scenario. The ultrahigh pressure eclogites have the highest density and P-wave velocity (Vp) and lower anisotropy. Pressure derivatives of the eclogites range from 0. 22 to 0. 33 km. s-1 GPa-1. Average temperature derivative of the eclogites is - 3. 41×10-4 km. s-1. °C -1. The density and VP of the eclogites imply that there will be two united possibilities related to crust-mantle recycling after the eclogite formed in the deep lithosphere. One is that some eclogites in the deep lithosphere were detached and sunk into deeper mantle due to their denser density. | 12 | Early Rehabilitation of Acute Stroke Patients with Hemiplegia and Effects of regional Cerebral Blood Flow (rCBF) of the Patients with Cerebral Infarction by Early Rehabiiitation显示文摘Objectives: To investigate whether early rchabilitation could improve obviously clinical prognosis of acute stroke patients. The mechanism of early rehabilitation that could improve brain function was preliminarily studied. Methods: 240 patients with acute hemiplegia were randomly divided into control group (120 cases) and rehabilitation group (120 cases). The control group received general treatment and the latter received early rehabilitation (Bobath methods) besides general treatment. At pre-rehabilitation and the end of 1,2,3,4,5,6 month at post-rehabilitation, the neurological deficit was assessed with modified Edinbcrg-Scandinavian stroke scale (MESSS); the motor function of the hemiplegic limbs were assessed with modified Fugl-meyer motor scale (FM);the ADL were assessed with modified Barthel Index (MBI), and the general secondary complications of both groups were also evaluated. Moreover, rCBF of 72 cases of acute cerebral infarction with hemiplegia (34 in control group, 38 in rehabilitation group) was earned out by SPECT imaging at pre-rehabilitation and at the end of I month at post - rehabilitation.Results and Discussion: Compared with those of control group, at the end of 1,2,3,4,5,6 month at post - rehabilitation, the scores of MESSS were more obviously decreased (p<0.05 and p<0.01); the scores of MBI and FM were more significantly increased (p<0.05 and p<0.01); and morbidity of secondary complications was more significantly decreased (p<0.05 and p<0.01). Compared with those of pre-rehabilitation in rehabilitation group, both the decrease of MESS scores and the increase of FM, MBI scores were more obvious (p<0.01) at the end of 1,2,3 month of post-rehabilitation; however, compared with that of the end of 3 month at post-rehabilitation, at the end of 4,5,6 month of post-rehabilitation in rehabilitation group. Both the decrease of MESSS scores and the increase of FM scores hadn′t statistical significance (p>0.05). but scores of MBt were obviously increased (p<0.05). There were positive correlation between FM scores at pretreatmcnt and at the end of 3 month. There were negative correlation between MESSS scores at pretreatment and at the end of 1,2,3 month at post-treatment and MBI scores at the end of 3 month. The rCBF imaging was more obviously promoted at the end of 1 month of post-rehabilitation in rehabilitation group (p<0.05).Conclusions: Early rehabilitation can not only obviously reduce the neurological deficit, general secondary complications and disabilities but clearly improvc the motor function of hemiplegic limbs, activities of daily living, ischcmic rCBF and prognosis in the acute stroke patients. | 14 | Multifunctional tubular carbon nanofibers/polyurethane electromagnetic wave absorber with room-temperature self-healing and recyclable performance显示文摘Incorporating self-healing and recyclable capabilities into microwave absorbing materials is expected to facilitate the life extension,cost reduction,and performance stability,thereby meeting the practical applications.In this research,a recycling and room-temperature self-healing electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorber is designed,in which linear polyurethane cross-linked by aromatic disulfide bonds is used as healable matrix,and tubular carbon nanofibers(TCNFs)are employed to attenuate microwave.The resultant composites with a TCNFs content of 7 wt.%harvest a minimum reflection loss(RLmin)of−39.0 dB and an effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)of 2.9 GHz at a matching thickness of 4.0 mm.Driven by the reversible dynamic bonds including hydrogen bonds and aromatic disulfide bonds,the high healing efficiency of 88.7%at 25°C and 93.2%at 60°C is presented.Impressively,even after three repairing cycles at room temperature,a healable efficiency of 86.4%is acquired,and RLmin can still reach−39.1 dB at the same thickness,together with an EAB of 3.0 GHz.Additionally,the results of solvent recycling experiment manifest that the recycled specimen achieves the almost similar mechanical and microwave dissipation properties as original one.These attractive characteristics make the designed self-healing and recyclable composites promising for next-generation EMW consumption devices. | Shuai Kang Shiya Qiao Yutong Cao Zuming Hu Na Li Junrong Yu Yan Wang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,1: | 1 |
