Kinetics model for leaching of ion-adsorption type rare earth ores显示文摘This paper aims to establish a mathematical model that can analyze the whole leaching kinetics process of ion-adsorption type rare earth ores. This leaching process is composed of three steps:(1)ammonium ions arrive at the ore particle surface through the diffusion layer;(2)ammonium ions exchange with rare earth ions;and(3)rare earth ions enter into the external solution through the diffusion layer. In the leaching process,it is hypothesized that the ore particle size remains constant The process of ammonium ions and rare earth ions passing through the diffusion layer was described by the Fick law,and the reversible ion exchange process between ammonium ions and rare earth ions was described by the Kerr model,A leaching kinetics model of rare earth ions by ammonium ions was constructed.Accuracy of this kinetics model was verified with laboratory tests. It is found that the correlation coefficients of all data are greater than 0.9000.The proposed kinetics model is therefore feasible for kinetics analysis throughout the leaching process. | Ping Long Guanshi Wang Chao Zhang Yaojie Yang Xiaojing Cao Zibo Shi | 2020 | Journal of Rare Earths2020,38,12: | 5
Autophagy receptor CCDC50 tunes the STING-mediated interferon response in viral infections and autoimmune diseases显示文摘DNA sensing and timely activation of interferon(IFN)-mediated innate immunity are crucial for the defense against DNA virus infections and the clearance of abnormal cells. However, overactivation of immune responses may lead to tissue damage and autoimmune diseases;therefore, these processes must be intricately regulated.STING is the key adaptor protein, which is activated by cyclic GMP-AMP,the second messenger derived from cGAS-mediated DNA sensing. Here,we report that CCDC50,a newly identified autophagy receptor, tunes STING-directed type I IFN signaling activity by delivering K63-polyubiquitinated STING to autolysosomes for degradation.Knockout of CCDC50 significantly increases herpes simplex virus 1(HSV-1)-or DNA ligand-induced production of type I IFN and proinflammatory cytokines.Ccdc50-deficient mice show increased production of IFN,decreased viral replication, reduced cell infiltration, and improved survival rates compared with their wild-type littermates when challenged with HSV-1.Remarkably,the expression of CCDC50 is downregulated in systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE),a chronic autoimmune disease.CCDC50 levels are negatively correlated with IFN signaling pathway activation and disease severity in human SLE patients.CCDC50 deficiency potentiates the cGAS-STING-mediated immune response triggered by SLE serum. Thus, our findings reveal the critical role of CCDC50 in the immune regulation of viral infections and autoimmune diseases and provide insights into the therapeutic implications of CCDC50 manipulation. | Panpan Hou Yuxin Lin Zibo Li Ruiqing Lu Yicheng Wang Tian Tian Penghui Jia Xi Zhang Liu Cao Zhongwei Zhou Chunmei Li Jieruo Gu Deyin Guo | 2021 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,10: | 3
Characteristics and formation mechanism of siltstone-mudstone rhythmic sedimentary sections in the Lower Silurian Longmaxi Formation in the Changning area,South Sichuan Basin, southwest China显示文摘The Lower Member of the Longrnaxi Forma-tion is generally dominated by siliceous shale, but recently we found some siltstone-mudstone rhythm sections developed in the Lower Member of the Longmaxi Formation. The study of formation mechanism of siltstone-mudstone rhythmic sedimentary sections may provide new insights into the shale sedimentary environ-ment.Therefore,we studied the characteristics and formation mechanism of siltstone-mudstone rhythmic sedimentary sections in the Lower Member of the Long-maxi Formation in the Changning area based on core observation, thin section identification, major elements and trace elements analysis. The results show the following:1)Two siltstone-mudstone rhythmic sedimentary sections are characterized by frequent interbed between black or gray-black shale and light gray siltstone, abundant argillaceous laminas and silty laminas, with obvious lithological boundaries having developed.Horizontal laminas and rhythmic laminas are well-developed in the shale layer, while the wavy laminas are well-developed in the siltstone layer.2)The major compositional elements are SiO2,Al2O3 and CaO,followed by Fe_(2)O_(3),MgO,K_(2)O and Na_(2)O.3)Compared with the world average shale, these siltstone-mudstone rhythmic sedimentary sections are rich in Mo,U and Ba,but less in V,Co,Ni,Cu.Compared with the shale layer, the siltstone layer has lower contents of V,Co and Ni.4).The geochemical redox indices,Mo-U and CIA values suggest the formation of the siltstone-mudstone rhythmic sedimentary sections are related to influences from bottom currents in an oxic condition with a warm and humid paleoclimate. | Gaoxiang WANG Lei CHEN Yang YANG Cui JING Man CHEN Xiucheng TAN Xin CHEN Di CAO Zibo WEI Minglong LI Dong HUANG | 2021 | Frontiers of Earth Science2021,15,4: | 0

Molecular ecological networks reveal the spatial-temporal variation of microbial communities in drinking water distribution systems显示文摘Microbial activity and regrowth in drinking water distribution systems is a major concern for water service companies. However, previous studies have focused on the microbial composition and diversity of the drinkingwater distribution systems(DWDSs),with little discussion on microbial molecular ecological networks(MENs)in different water supply networks.MEN analysis explores the potentialmicrobial interaction and the impact of environmental stress,to explain the characteristics of microbial community structures. In this study, the random matrix theory-based network analysis was employed to investigate the impact of seasonal variation including water source switching on the networks of three DWDSs that used different disinfection methods. The results showed that microbial interaction varied slightly with the seasons but was significantly influenced by different DWDSs.Proteobacteria, identified as key species, play an important role in the network.Combined UV-chlorine disinfection can effectively reduce the size and complexity of the network compared to chlorine disinfection alone, ignoring seasonal variations, which may affect microbial activity or control microbial regrowth in DWDSs.This study provides new insights for analyzing the dynamics of microbial interactions in DWDSs. | Zibo Jing Zedong Lu Zhinan Zhao Wenfeng Cao Weibo Wang Yanchu Ke Xiaohui Wang Wenjun Sun | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,2: | 0
An approach to explore the eddy currents of the new type divertor for EAST device using ANSYS code显示文摘An effective method for eddy current calculation has been developed for EAST’s new divertor by using ANSYS.A 3D model of a double null divertor for the EAST device was built to evaluate eddy currents and electromagnetic(EM)forces on these components. The main input to the model is the plasma current and poloidal field coil currents, which are loaded into the model using experimental data measured from the EAST discharges. These currents generate magnetic fields that match those producing an EAST discharge, and the time variation of these fields produces the eddy currents in the divertors, along with from the resulting EM forces. In addition, the first 10 time steps were discussed for the eddy current generation and changing trend. It indicates that a static analysis before a transient mode start can solve the eddy current origination in the initial time steps. With this method, the EM transient response of EAST’s new divertor can be predicted based on ANSYS simulations.Furthermore, the method is also an effective approach to estimate the EM results for the in-vessel components of a fusion reactor during a disruption. | LIU ChangLe YAO DaMao DOODY Jeffrey LIPSCHULTZ Bruce ZHOU LiHua LIANG Chao ZHOU ZiBo CAO Lei XU TieJun | 2014 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,1: | 0
Flexible radio-frequency micro electro-mechanical switch towards the applications of satellite communications显示文摘This paper presents a flexible radio-frequency microelectromechanical system(RF MEMS)switch integrated on cyclo-olefin polymer(COP)substrate using a modified surface MEMS processing technology, which could be used in the 17-19 GHz frequency band of satellite communication.Through systematic simulation analysis,it is found that flexible RF MEMS switch can achieve certain bending radius by miniaturizing the electronic dimension, without degrading the RF performance. It is demonstrated that the RF characteristics of flexible RF MEMS switch with special anchor structural design, fabricated by modified surface MEMS processing, are not sensitive to bending deformation under the curvature of 0 mm^(-1),0.05 mm^(-1),0.10 mm^(-1).Furthermore,the range of bending curvature which will affect the RF characteristics is given through systematic simulation. The flexible RF MEMS switch with high process compatibility and stable RF performance is believed to be promising candidates for future microwave communications and other consumer electronics. | Yingli Shi Chao Zhou Zibo Cao Yurong He Jingwen Guo Chunxin Li Qianhong Wu Kui Liang Yanzhao Li Yuan Lin | 2022 | npj Flexible Electronics2022,6,1: | 0
