| 2 | Electrochemically driven conversion reaction in fluoride electrodes for energy storage devices显示文摘Exploring electrochemically driven conversion reactions for the development of novel energy storage materials is an important topic as they can deliver higher energy densities than current Li-ion battery electrodes.Conversion-type fluorides promise particularly high energy densities by involving the light and small fluoride anion,and bond breaking can occur at relatively low Li activity(i.e.,high cell voltage).Cells based on such electrodes may become competitors to other envisaged alternatives such as Lisulfur or Li-air systems with their many unsolved thermodynamic and kinetic problems.Relevant conversion reactions are typically multiphase redox reactions characterized by nucleation and growth processes along with pronounced interfacial and mass transport phenomena.Hence significant overpotentials and nonequilibrium reaction pathways are involved.In this review,we summarize recent findings in terms of phase evolution phenomena and mechanistic features of(oxy)fluorides at different redox stages during the conversion process,enabled by advanced characterization technologies and simulation methods.It can be concluded that well-designed nanostructured architectures are helpful in mitigating kinetic problems such as the usually pronounced voltage hysteresis.In this context,doping and open-framework strategies are useful.By these tools,simple materials that are unable to allow for substantial Li nonstoichiometry(e.g.,by Li-insertable channels)may be turned into electroactive materials. | Chilin Li Keyi Chen Xuejun Zhou Joachim Maier | 2018 | npj Computational Materials2018,,1: | 8 |

| 4 | Mass Spectrometry Analysis of SARS-CoV-2 Nucleocapsid Protein Reveals Camouflaging Glycans and Unique Post-Translational Modifications显示文摘The devastating coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic has prompted worldwide efforts to study structural biological traits of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)and its viral components.Compared to the Spike protein,which is the primary target for currently available vaccines or antibodies,knowledge about other virion structural components is incomplete.Using high-resolution mass spectrometry,we report a comprehensive post-translational modification(PTM)analysis of nucleocapsid phosphoprotein(NCP),the most abundant structural component of the SARS-CoV-2 virion.In addition to phosphoryl groups,we show that the SARS-CoV-2 NCP is decorated with a variety of PTMs,including N-glycans and ubiquitin.Based on newly identified PTMs,refined protein structural models of SARS-CoV-2 NCP were proposed and potential immune recognition epitopes of NCP were aligned with PTMs.These data can facilitate the design of novel vaccines or therapeutics targeting NCP,as valuable alternatives to the current vaccination and treatment paradigm that is under threat of the ever-mutating SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein. | Zeyu Sun Xiaoqin Zheng Feiyang Ji Menghao Zhou Xiaoling Su Keyi Ren Lanjuan Li | 2021 | Infectious Microbes & Diseases2021,3,3: | 1 |
| 5 | Complex Motion Modeling and State Estimation in Road Coordinates显示文摘Constrained modeling and state estimation have attracted much attention in recent years. This paper focuses on target motion modeling and tracking in road coordinates. An improved initialization method,which uses the optimal fusion of the position measurements in different directions,is presented for the constraint coordinate Kalman filter(CCKF). The CCKF is evaluated with a comprehensive comparison to the state-of-art linear equality constraint estimation methods. Numerical simulation results demonstrate the better performance of the CCKF. Then the interacting multiple model CCKF(IMM-CCKF) is proposed to manifest the advantages of the CCKF in complex motion modeling and state estimations. | 10 | Study on the Fouling Propensity of Effluent from the MBR System for the Electronics Wastewater with High Salinity显示文摘To the electronics wastewater with high salinity,the fouling propensity of effluent from the membrane bioreactor( MBR) system played an important role for the design and long-term operational sustainability of the MBR + Reverse Osmosis( RO) system. In this text,the effluent quality,settling performance and membrane fouling were researched with three dimension excitation-emission fluorescence spectra( EEM) and scanning electron microscope( SEM)-Energy Dispersive Spectrometer( EDS). The results showed that there were few organics with a strong adhesion in the effluent. The metal ions in the effluent not only had a complexation reaction with the macromolecules fulvic acid and protein but also with silicon colloid. It caused a compact fouling layer on the RO membrane surface. But the organics and most of inorganic matters could form settling of flocs and be removed from the effluent by improving p H of the effluent,which would relieve the membrane fouling. | 11 | State estimation in range coordinate using range-only measurements显示文摘In some tracking applications,due to the sensor characteristic,only range measurements are available.If this is the case,due to the lack of full position measurements,the observability of Cartesian states(e.g.,position and velocity)are limited to particular cases.For general cases,the range measurements can be utilized by developing a state estimation algorithm in range-Doppler(R-D)plane to obtain accurate range and Doppler estimates.In this paper,a state estimation method based on the proper dynamic model in the R-D plane is proposed.The unscented Kalman filter is employed to handle the strong nonlinearity in the dynamic model.Two filtering initialization methods are derived to extract the initial state estimate and the initial covariance in the R-D plane from the first several range measurements.One is derived based on the well-known two-point differencing method.The other incorporates the correct dynamic model information and uses the unscented transformation method to obtain the initial state estimates and covariance,resulting in a model-based method,which capitalizes the model information to yield better performance.Monte Carlo simulation results are provided to illustrate the effectiveness and superior performance of the proposed state estimation and filter initialization methods. | LI Keyi GUO Zhengkun ZHOU Gongjian | 2022 | Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2022,33,3: | 0 |
