2Suppression of ETI by PTI priming to balance plant growth and defense through an MPK3/MPK6-WRKYs-PP2Cs module显示文摘Pattern-triggered immunity(PTI)and effector-triggered immunity(ETI)are required for host defense against pathogens.Although PTI and ETI are intimately connected,the underlying molecular mechanisms remain elusive.In this study,we demonstrate that flg22 priming attenuates Pseudomonas syringae pv.tomato DC3000(Pst)AvrRpt2-induced hypersensitive cell death,resistance,and biomass reduction in Arabidopsis.Mitogen-activated protein kinases(MAPKs)are key signaling regulators of PTI and ETI.The absence of MPK3 and MPK6 significantly reduces pre-PTI-mediated ETI suppression(PES).We found that MPK3/MPK6 interact with and phosphorylate the downstream transcription factor WRKY18,which regulates the expression of AP2C1 and PP2C5,two genes encoding protein phosphatases.Furthermore,we observed that the PTI-suppressed ETI-triggered cell death,MAPK activation,and growth retardation are significantly attenuated in wrky18/40/60 and ap2c1 pp2c5 mutants.Taken together,our results suggest that the MPK3/MPK6-WRKYs-PP2Cs module underlies PES and is essential for the maintenance of plant fitness during ETI.Dacheng Wang Lirong Wei Ting Liu Jinbiao Ma Keyi Huang Huimin Guo Yufen Huang Lei Zhang Jing Zhao Kenichi Tsuda Yiming Wang 2023Molecular Plant2023,16,5:1

4Limestone-Concentrate-Pellet Roasting in wet Carbon Dioxide显示文摘A roast process for treating chalcopyrite concentrate was developed. The investigation of the reaction of limestone-concentrate-pellet in a wet carbon dioxide flow was carried out by means of a thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) to determine at which temperatures the roasting reaction would take place. The thermodynamic calculations on the roast reaction were made by the use of SOLGASMIX-PV program. The TGA curves and thermodynamic calculations indicated that the conversion of chalcopyrite into bornite took place at about 975K, and the conversion of bornite into chalcocite at 1065-1123K. The thermodynamic calculations also showed that the sulfur released was fixed as calcium sulfide within roasted pellets. 5Identification of novel Z/W chromosome-specific markers from the giant freshwater prawn Macrobrachium rosenbergii显示文摘The giant freshwater prawn(Macrobrachium rosenbergii)is a commercially cultured species in China.A sex chromosome-specific marker is crucial for sex identification and distinguishing sex chromosomes.Here,based on the results of reduced-representation genome sequencing and genome survey of M.rosenbergii,we identified steady sex-linked markers.Further nucleotide alignment analysis revealed 83.42%nucleotide similarity between the amplified W-and Z-chromosome fragments.qPCR confirmed that Z chromosome-specific fragments were present in males approximately twice as often compared to females.Similarly,the W chromosome-specific fragments were present in super females approximately twice as often compared to females.Our findings elucidate the ZW/ZZ sex determination type and contribute to exploring sex-related or sex-determining genes present on the sex chromosomes of M.rosenbergii.Xue Liu Lingxia Zhou Biyun Luo Hongli Qian Baoqing Ye Keyi Ma Gaofeng Qiu 2023Aquaculture and Fisheries2023,8,5:0
6Transcriptomic analysis reveals growth-related genes in juvenile grass carp,Ctenopharyngodon idella显示文摘Grass carp has the highest production yield among all the farmed fish species around the world.But the molecular and genetic basis of growth traits is inadequately understood in this fish.In the present study,we apply whole-transcriptome sequencing to identify genes whose expression is different between fast and slow growing grass carp.We identified 1178 differentially expressed genes(DEGs),among which 270 were upregulated in the fast growing group and 908 upregulated in the slow growing group.The GO enrichment analysis revealed that DEGs was significantly enriched in protein synthesis and export machinery,cell division and development and metabolism,suggesting that cell division and metabolism may play key roles in development processes of fish.KEGG pathway analysis showed that MAPK signaling pathway may play a prominent role in growth difference.In addition,the majority of genes in immune responses related pathway were upregulated in the slow growing individuals.These results provide some valuable resources for understanding the molecular mechanisms of growth traits in fish.Yubang Shen Keyi Ma Qin Zhu Xiaoyan Xu Jiale Li 2022Aquaculture and Fisheries2022,7,6:0
7Quantum-Inspired Distributed Memetic Algorithm显示文摘This paper proposed a novel distributed memetic evolutionary model,where four modules distributed exploration,intensified exploitation,knowledge transfer,and evolutionary restart are coevolved to maximize their strengths and achieve superior global optimality.Distributed exploration evolves three independent populations by heterogenous operators.Intensified exploitation evolves an external elite archive in parallel with exploration to balance global and local searches.Knowledge transfer is based on a point-ring communication topology to share successful experiences among distinct search agents.Evolutionary restart adopts an adaptive perturbation strategy to control search diversity reasonably.Quantum computation is a newly emerging technique,which has powerful computing power and parallelized ability.Therefore,this paper further fuses quantum mechanisms into the proposed evolutionary model to build a new evolutionary algorithm,referred to as quantum-inspired distributed memetic algorithm(QDMA).In QDMA,individuals are represented by the quantum characteristics and evolved by the quantum-inspired evolutionary optimizers in the quantum hyperspace.The QDMA integrates the superiorities of distributed,memetic,and quantum evolution.Computational experiments are carried out to evaluate the superior performance of QDMA.The results demonstrate the effectiveness of special designs and show that QDMA has greater superiority compared to the compared state-of-the-art algorithms based on Wilcoxon’s rank-sum test.The superiority is attributed not only to good cooperative coevolution of distributed memetic evolutionary model,but also to superior designs of each special component.Guanghui Zhang Wenjing Ma Keyi Xing Lining Xing Kesheng Wang 2022Complex System Modeling and Simulation2022,2,4:0
8An AIE probe for long-term plasma membrane imaging and membrane-targeted photodynamic therapy显示文摘Two red-emissive luminogens(TPTH and TPTB) with typical aggregation-induced emission characteristics were developed. By introducing the heavy atom of Br at the end of alkyl chain, TPTB exhibited higher reactive oxygen species generation efficiency through both types I and II pathways. Due to its excellent biocompatibility and proper lipophilicity, TPTB could be used for long-term cell membrane staining and this staining ability was independent of the change of plasma membrane potential.
