1Saline soil enzyme activities of four plant communities in Sangong River basin of Xinjiang,China显示文摘Soil enzyme activity plays an important role in the conversion of soil organic carbon into inorganic carbon,which is significant for the global carbon cycle.In this study,we investigated the soil enzyme activities of two ligninolytic enzymes(peroxidase and polyphenol oxidase)and five non-ligninolytic enzymes(α-1,4-glucosidase(AG);β-1,4-glucosidase(BG);N-acetyl-β-glucosaminidase(NAG);β-D-cellobiosidase(CBH);andβ-xylosidase(BXYL))in four plant communities of the Sangong River basin in Fukang,North Xinjiang,China.The four typical plant communities were dominated by Haloxylon ammodendron,Reaumuria soongonica,Salsola passerina,and Tamarix rarmosissima,respectively,with saline soils of varied alkalinity.The results showed that the soil peroxidase activity decreased seasonally.The activities of the five non-ligninolytic enzymes decreased with increasing soil depths,while those of the two ligninolytic enzymes did not show such a trend.In the four plant communities,BG had the highest activity among the five non-ligninolytic enzymes,and the activities of the two ligninolytic enzymes were higher than those of the four non-ligninolytic ones(AG,NAG,CBH,and BXYL).The community of H.ammodendron displayed the highest activity with respect to the two ligninolytic enzymes in most cases,but no significant differences were found among the four plant communities.The geometric mean of soil enzyme activities of the four plant communities was validated through an independently performed principal component analysis(PCA),which indicated that different plant communities had different soil enzyme activities.The correlation analysis showed that soil polyphenol oxidase activity was significantly positively correlated with the activities of the five non-ligninolytic enzymes.The soil pH value was positively correlated with the activities of all soil enzymes except peroxidase.Soil microbial carbon content also showed a significant positive correlation(P<0.01)with the activities of all soil enzymes except polyphenol oxidase.The results suggested that the H.ammodendron community has the highest ability to utilize soil organic carbon,and glucoside could be the most extensively utilized non-ligninolytic carbon source in the saline soil of arid areas in Xinjiang.ZhengJun GUAN Qian LUO Xi CHEN XianWei FENG ZhiXi TANG Wei WEI YuanRun ZHENG 2014Journal of Arid Land2014,6,2:11
2Downregulation of lncRNA AFAP1-AS1 by oridonin inhibits the epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition and proliferation of pancreatic cancer cells显示文摘Recent studies have demonstrated that the expression of the long non-coding RNA(lncRNA)AFAP1-AS1 in pancreatic cancer is negatively correlated with survival and prognosis.However,the effects of oridonin and lncRNA AFAP1-AS1 on the epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition(EMT)and migration of pancreatic cancer cells have not been fully elucidated.Surgery is the only potentially curative method for pancreatic cancer,but postoperative recurrence and metastasis are common.The aim of the present study was to assess the effect of oridonin and lncRNA AFAP1-AS1 silencing on pancreatic cancer cells.The pancreatic cancer cell lines BxPC-3 and PANC-1 cells were transfected with siAFAP1-AS1 and its negative control(siNC).After that,oridonin was used to treat the siAFAP1-AS1-transfected cells.The expression of lncRNA AFAP1-AS1 was downregulated in the pancreatic cancer cell lines BxPC-3 and PANC-1.The apoptosis and cell cycle progression of pancreatic cancer cells were evaluated by flow cytometry and Hoechst 33258 staining.Metastasis and invasion of BxPC-3 and PANC-1 cells were detected by transwell migration assay,real-time cell analysis,and western blot analysis.Cells were transfected with the lentiviral siAFAP1-AS1 and siNC,and tumorigenesis was evaluated in BALB/C nude mice.Immunohistochemical examination was used to verify the effects of oridonin and siAFAP1-AS1 on pancreatic cancer.The results demonstrated that the combination of oridonin and siAFAP1-AS1 inhibited pancreatic cancer cell proliferation,induced apoptosis,arrested cell cycle progression,prevented the migration,regulated EMT-related protein expression in BxPC-3 and PANC-1 cells,and inhibited pancreatic cancer cell tumorigenicity and EMT in nude mice.Songmei Lou Jian Xu Bili Wang Shuquan Li Jun Ren Zhengjun Hu Bin Xu Feng Luo 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,8:10
3Heavy Oil and Oil Sands:Global Distribution and Resource Assessment显示文摘Global recoverable resources of heavy oil and oil sands have been assessed by CNPC using a geology-based assessment method combined with the traditional volumetric method, spatial interpolation method, parametric-probability method etc. The most favourable areas for exploration have been selected in accordance with a comprehensive scoring system. The results show:(1) For geological resources, CNPC estimate 991.18 billion tonnes of heavy oil and 501.26 billion tonnes of oil sands globally, of which technically recoverable resources of heavy oil and oil sands comprise 126.74 billion tonnes and 64.13 billion tonnes respectively. More than 80% of the resources occur within Tertiary and Cretaceous reservoirs distributed across 69 heavy oil basins and 32 oil sands basins. 99% of recoverable resources of heavy oil and oil sands occur within foreland basins, passive continental-margin basins and cratonic basins.(2) Since residual hydrocarbon resources remain following large-scale hydrocarbon migration and destruction, heavy oil and oil sands are characterized most commonly by late hydrocarbon accumulation, the same basin types and source-reservoir conditions as for conventional hydrocarbon resources, shallow burial depth and stratabound reservoirs.(3) Three accumulation models are recognised, depending on basin type: degradation along slope; destruction by uplift; and migration along faults.(4) In addition to mature exploration regions such as Canada and Venezuela, the Volga-Ural Basin and the Pre-Caspian Basin are less well-explored and have good potential for oil-sand discoveries, and it is predicted that the Middle East will be an important region for heavy oil development.LIU Zuodong WANG Hongjun Graham BLACKBOURN MA Feng HE Zhengjun WEN Zhixing WANG Zhaoming YANG Zi LUAN Tiansi WU Zhenzhen 2019Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2019,93,1:9

8Achieving Ultra-Wideband and Elevated Temperature Electromagnetic Wave Absorption via Constructing Lightweight Porous Rigid Structure显示文摘Realizing ultra-wideband absorption,desirable attenuation capability at high temperature and mechanical requirements for real-life applications remains a great challenge for microwave absorbing materials.Herein,we have constructed a porous carbon fiber/polymethacrylimide(CP)structure for acquiring promising microwave absorption performance and withstanding both elevated temperature and high strength in a low density.Given the ability of porous structure to induce desirable impedance matching and multiple reflection,the absorption bandwidth of CP composite can reach ultra-wideband absorption of 14 GHz at room temperature and even cover the whole X-band at 473 K.Additionally,the presence of imide ring group in polymethacrylimide and hard bubble wall endows the composite with excellent heat and compressive behaviors.Besides,the lightweight of the CP composite with a density of only 110 mg cm^(−3) coupled with high compressive strength of 1.05 MPa even at 453 K also satisfies the requirements in engineering applica-tions.Compared with soft and compressible aerogel materials,we envision that the rigid porous foam absorbing material is particularly suitable for environmental extremes.Zibao Jiao Wenjun Huyan Feng Yang Junru Yao Ruiyang Tan Ping Chen Xuewei Tao Zhengjun Yao Jintang Zhou Peijiang Liu 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,11:1
9Identification of Early Peach Aphid Infestation Based on Hyperspectral Imaging Technology显示文摘Peach aphid is a common pest and hard to detect.This study employs hyperspectral imaging technology to identify early damage in green cabbage caused by peach aphid.Through principal component transformation and multiple linear regression analysis,the correlation relation between spectral characteristics and infestation stage is analyzed.Then,four characteristic wavelength selection methods are compared and optimal characteristic wavelengths subset is determined to be input for modelling.One linear algorithm and two nonlinear modelling algorithms are compared.Finally,support vector machine(SVM)model based on the characteristic wavelengths selected by multi-cluster feature selection(MCFS)acquires the highest identification accuracy,which is 98.97%.These results indicate that hyperspectral imaging technology have the ability to identify early peach aphid infestation stages on green cabbages.Yangyang Fan Wenjie Feng Zhengjun Qiu Shuai Wang 2023Journal of Beijing Institute of Technology2023,32,3:0

12Thickness dependence of the crystallization and phase transition in ZrO_(2)thin films显示文摘Fluorite-structure binary oxides(e.g.,HfO_(2)and ZrO_(2))have attracted increasing interest for a broad range of applications including thermal barrier coatings,high-k dielectrics,and novel ferroelectrics.A crystalline structure plays a crucial role in determining physical and chemical properties.Structure evolution of ZrO_(2)thin films,particularly down to the nanometer scale,has not been thoroughly studied.In this work,we carried out systematic annealing analysis on the ZrO_(2)thin films.Through in-situ high-temperature X-ray diffraction(XRD)characterizations,a thickness dependence of crystallization and phase transition is observed.Irrespective of the thickness(10-300 nm),the as-prepared amorphous ZrO_(2)thin films are preferentially crystallized into a tetragonal(t)structure(high-temperature phase),which can be preserved down to room temperature(RT)upon anncaling at the corresponding crystallization temperaturc(T).When anncaling at temperaturcs higher than Tc,the transition from t to monoclinic(m;RT phase)will occur,and the quantity of the transition strongly depends on the film thickness.Our work expands the basic understanding of the phase transition in the ZrO_(2)thin films,and offers a path to the selective control over the phase structure for novel functionalities.Yue Guan Jing Zhou Haodong Zhong Weipeng Wang Zhengjun Zhang Feng Luo Shuai Ning 2023Journal of Advanced Ceramics2023,12,4:0
13Multi-functional and multi-scenario applications for MXene aerogels with synergistically enhanced asymmetric modules显示文摘The development of multifunctional materials and synergistic applications of various functions are important conditions for integrated and miniaturized equipment.Here,we developed asymmetric MXene/aramid nanofibers/polyimides(AMAP)aerogels with different modules using an integrated molding process.Cleverly asymmetric modules(layered MXene/aramid nanofibers section and porous MXene/aramid nanofibers/polyimides section)interactions are beneficial for enhanced performances,resulting in low reflection electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding(specific shielding effectiveness of 2483(dB·cm^(3))/g and a low R-value of 0.0138),high-efficiency infrared radiation(IR)stealth(ultra-low thermal conductivity of 0.045 W/(m·K)and IR emissivity of 0.32 at 3–5μm and 0.28 at 8–14μm),and excellent thermal management performances of insulated Joule heating.Furthermore,these multifunctional AMAP aerogels are suitable for various application scenarios such as personal and building protection against electromagnetic pollution and cold,as well as military equipment protection against infrared detection and EMI.Junru Yao Jintang Zhou Feng Yang Guiyu Peng Yijie Liu Zhengjun Yao Fan Wu Haibo Zeng 2024Nano Research2024,17,4:0
