| 1 | LncRNA TUG1 promotes cisplatin resistance in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma cells by regulating Nrf2显示文摘Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)is a common malignancy with poor prognosis.The drug resistance compromises the efficacy of chemotherapy for ESCC.Long non-coding RNA taurine upregulated gene 1(TUG1)has been identified as a promoter of cancer progression and chemotherapy resistance in many malignancies.However,the exact role of TUG1 in ESCC chemotherapy resistance remains unclear.In this study,we showed that TUG1 expression in TE-1-derived cisplatin(DDP)-resistant(TE-1/DDP)cells was higher than that in TE-1 cells.Furthermore,TUG1 promoted DDP resistance in TE-1 and TE-1/DDP cells by promoting cell proliferation,suppressing cell apoptosis,and elevating protein expression of the classical multi-drug resistance-related P-gp.In contrast,TUG1 knockdown exerted an opposite effect.Mechanistically,RNA pull-down and RNA immunoprecipitation assays confirmed that TUG1 directly bound to nuclear factor(erythroid-derived 2)-like 2(Nrf2)protein and elevated Nrf2 protein expression.Moreover,Nrf2-neutralizing antibody effectively reversed the TUG1 overexpression-mediated promotion of ESCC cell resistance to DDP.In conclusion,our findings demonstrated that TUG1 promoted ESCC cell resistance to DDP,at least in part,through upregulating Nrf2. | Zhenghua Zhang Ran Xiong Caiwei Li Meiqing Xu Mingfa Guo | 2019 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,8: | 7 |
| 2 | Concept of the solar ring mission:An overview显示文摘The concept of the Solar Ring mission was gradually formed from L5/L4 mission concept, and the proposal of its pre-phase study was funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China in November 2018 and then by the Strategic Priority Program of Chinese Academy of Sciences in space sciences in May 2019. Solar Ring mission will be the first attempt to routinely monitor and study the Sun and inner heliosphere from a full 360-degree perspective in the ecliptic plane. The current preliminary design of the Solar Ring mission is to deploy six spacecraft, grouped in three pairs, on a sub-AU orbit around the Sun. The two spacecraft in each group are separated by about 30?and every two groups by about 120?. This configuration with necessary science payloads will allow us to establish three unprecedented capabilities:(1) determine the photospheric vector magnetic field with unambiguity,(2) provide 360-degree maps of the Sun and the inner heliosphere routinely, and(3) resolve the solar wind structures at multiple scales and multiple longitudes. With these capabilities, the Solar Ring mission aims to address the origin of solar cycle, the origin of solar eruptions, the origin of solar wind structures and the origin of severe space weather events. | 3 | Geochronology and Geochemistry of the Tinggong Porphyry Copper Ore Deposit, Tibet显示文摘We have determined the ages of the ore-bearing Tinggong porphyries and the Eocene granites using the LA-ICPMS zircon U-Pb method. Zircons from one adamellite porphyry and two diorite porphyries yield ages of 15.54±0.28 Ma, 15.02±0.25 Ma and 14.74±0.22 Ma, respectively. The ages of two granites are 50.48±0.71 Ma and 50.16±0.48 Ma. Light Rare Earth Elements(LREE) are enriched in the ore-bearing adamellite porphyries, which are high-K calc-alkaline and metaluminous, while Heavy Rare Earth Elements(HREE) and Y are strongly depleted, indicating an adakitic affinity. The Large Ion Lithophile Elements(LILE) of the adamellite porphyries are highly enriched, whereas some High Field Strength Elements(HFSE) are depleted. The diorite porphyry in this study is chemically similar to the adamellite porphyries, except that the Mg# of the diorite porphyry is a little higher, demonstrating more mantle contamination. Four samples from different rocks are selected for in situ zircon Hf isotopic analyses. The samples show positive εHf(t) values and young Hf model ages, indicating their derivation from juvenile crust. However, the adamellite porphyry and diorite porphyry formed in the Miocene exhibit more heterogeneous Hf isotopic ratios, with lower εHf(t) values than the granites formed in the Eocene, suggesting the involvement of old Indian continent crust in their petrogenesis. The geochronology and geochemistry of the adamellite porphyries and the diorite porphyries indicate that they formed from the same source region in a post-collisional environment, but contaminated by crust and mantle materials in different ratios. | 6 | Effect of film types on thermal response,cellular structure,forming defects and mechanical properties of combined in-mold decoration and microcellular injection molding parts显示文摘Different types of polymer films were used in the combined in-mold decoration and microcellular injection molding(IMD/MIM)process.The multiphase fluid-solid coupled heat transfer model was established to study the thermal response at the melt filling stage in the IMD/MIM process.It was found that the temperature distributed asymmetrically along the thickness direction due to the changed heat transfer coefficient of the melt on the film side.When polyethylene terephthalate(PET)films were applied,the temperature of the melt-film interface increased faster and to be higher at the end of melt filling stage in comparison with the application of polycarbonate(PC)and thermoplastic polyurethane(TPU)films.And the effects of film types on the cellular structure,forming defects and mechanical properties of IMD/MIM parts were also studied experimentally.The results showed that the film types had no obvious effect on the cells size in the transition layer and the mechanical properties of the parts.Under certain film thickness,the offset distance of core layer was the largest with PET film used,while the offset distance was the smallest with TPU film used.And similar results were found for the warpage of the parts.However,an exactly opposite change occurred for the thickness of film-side transition layer and the bubble marks on the surface of the parts. | Wei Guo Zhihui Yu Wenting Wei Zhenghua Meng Huajie Mao Lin Hua | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,33: | 1 |
