| 1 | Stress Corrosion Cracking of Nitrogen-containing Stainless Steel 316LN in High Temperature Water Environments显示文摘Stress corrosion cracking(SCC) of stainless steels and Ni-based alloys in high temperature water coolant is one of the key problems affecting the safe operation of nuclear power plants(NPPs).The nitrogen-added stainless steel is a kind of possible candidate materials for mitigating SCC since reducing the carbon content and adding nitrogen to offset the loss in strength caused by the decrease in carbon content can mitigate the problem of sensitization.However,the reports of SCC of nitrogen-added stainless steels in high temperature water are few available.The effects of applied potential and sensitization treatment on the SCC of a newly developed nitrogen-containing stainless steel(SS) 316LN in high temperature water doped with chloride at 250 ℃ were studied by using slow strain rate tests(SSRTs).The SSRT results are compared with our data previously published for 316 SS without nitrogen and 304NG SS with nitrogen,and the possible mechanism affecting the SCC behaviors of the studied steels is also discussed based on SSRT and microstucture analysis results.The susceptibility to cracking of 316LN SS normally increases with increasing potential.The susceptibility to SCC of 316LN SS was less than that of 316 SS and 304NG SS.Sensitization treatment at 700 ℃ for 30 h showed little effect on the SCC of 316LN SS and significant effect on the SCC of 316 SS.The predominant cracking mode for the 316LN SS in both annealed state and the state after the sensitization treatment was transgranular.The presented conditions of mitigating stress corrosion cracking are some useful information for the safe use of 316LN SS in NPPs. | YANG Wu LI Guangfu HUANG Chunbo ZHOU Jianjiang LU Zhanpeng | 2010 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2010,23,6: | 9 |

| 4 | Vision Based Hand Gesture Recognition Using 3D Shape Context显示文摘Hand gesture recognition is a popular topic in computer vision and makes human-computer interaction more flexible and convenient.The representation of hand gestures is critical for recognition.In this paper,we propose a new method to measure the similarity between hand gestures and exploit it for hand gesture recognition.The depth maps of hand gestures captured via the Kinect sensors are used in our method,where the 3D hand shapes can be segmented from the cluttered backgrounds.To extract the pattern of salient 3D shape features,we propose a new descriptor-3D Shape Context,for 3D hand gesture representation.The 3D Shape Context information of each 3D point is obtained in multiple scales because both local shape context and global shape distribution are necessary for recognition.The description of all the 3D points constructs the hand gesture representation,and hand gesture recognition is explored via dynamic time warping algorithm.Extensive experiments are conducted on multiple benchmark datasets.The experimental results verify that the proposed method is robust to noise,articulated variations,and rigid transformations.Our method outperforms state-of-the-art methods in the comparisons of accuracy and efficiency. | Chen Zhu Jianyu Yang Zhanpeng Shao Chunping Liu | 2021 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,9: | 5 |

| 8 | New flame retardant epoxy resins based on cyclophosphazene-derived curing agents显示文摘To obtain high-efficiency flame retardancy of epoxy resins,a cyclophosphazene derivative tri-(ohenylenediamino)cyclotriphosphazene(3 ACP)was successfully synthesized and used as a curing agent for the thermosetting of an epoxy resin system.The flame retardant properties,thermal stability,and pyrolysis mechanism of the resultant thermosets were investigated in detail.The experiments indicated that the synthesized thermoset achieved a UL-94 V-0 rate under a vertical burning test as well as a limiting oxygen index(LOI)of 29.2%,which was able to reach V-0 even when a small amount of 3 ACP was incorporated.Scanning electronic microscopic observation demonstrated that the char residue of the thermosets was extremely expanded after the vertical flame test.Thermal analysis showed that the samples had a lower initial decomposition temperature when 3 ACP was introduced into the epoxy resin systems.This indicates that the carbonization ability of the thermosets was significantly improved at elevated temperatures.In addition,the incorporation of 3 ACP can effectively suppress the release of combustible gases during the pyrolysis process,and the decomposition of E-44/DDS-3 ACP curing systems also promotes the formation of polyphosphoramides charred layer in the condensed phase.The investigation on the chemical structures of both the gaseous and condensed phase pyrolysis process confirmed the flame-retardant mechanism of the 3 ACP-cured epoxy resins.Therefore,the nonflammable halogen-free epoxy resin developed in this study has potential applications in electric and electronic fields for environment protection and human health. | Zhenwei Miao Dongpeng Yan Xiaodong Wang Xinfang Zhang Wenqi Zhou Munan Qiu Fan Yang Zhanpeng Wu | 2022 | Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,8: | 3 |

| 10 | Green tea polyphenols protect spinal cord neurons against hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidative stress显示文摘Green tea polyphenols are strong antioxidants and can reduce free radical damage. To investigate their neuroprotective potential, we induced oxidative damage in spinal cord neurons using hydrogen peroxide, and applied different concentrations(50–200 μg/mL) of green tea polyphenol to the cell medium for 24 hours. Measurements of superoxide dismutase activity, malondialdehyde content, and expression of apoptosis-related genes and proteins revealed that green tea polyphenol effectively alleviated oxidative stress. | 11 | Principal-component estimates of the Kuroshio Current axis and path based on the mathematical verification between satellite altimeter and drifting buoy data显示文摘We used satellite altimetry data to investigate the Kuroshio Current because of the higher resolution and wider range of observations. In previous studies, satellite absolute geostrophic velocities were used to study the spatiotemporal variability of the sea surface velocity field along the current, and extraction methods were employed to detect the Kuroshio axes and paths. However, sea surface absolute geostrophic velocity estimated from absolute dynamic topography should be regarded as the geostrophic component of the actual surface velocity, which cannot represent a sea surface current accurately. In this study, mathematical verification between the climatic absolute geostrophic and bin-averaged drifting buoy velocity was established and then adopted to correct the satellite absolute geostrophic velocities. There were some differences in the characteristics between satellite geostrophic and drifting buoy velocities. As a result, the corrected satellite absolute geostrophic velocities were used to detect the Kuroshio axis and path based on a principal-component detection scheme. The results showed that the detection of the Kuroshio axes and paths from corrected absolute geostrophic velocities performed better than those from satellite absolute geostrophic velocities and surface current estimations. Cells at passage 5 were incubated in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium supplemented with 10% (v/v) fetal bovine serum, 20 μg/L nerve growth factor, 20 μg/L basic fibroblast growth factor and 1% (v/v) penicillin for 6 days. Cells presented with long processes, similar to nerve cells. Connections were formed between cell processes. Immunocytochemical staining with neuron specific enolase verified that cells differentiated into neuron-like cells. Immunofluorescence cytochemistry and western blot results revealed that the expression of protein hairy enhancer of split-1 was significantly reduced.
