| 2 | Preparation and Arc Breakdown Behavior of Nanocrystalline W-Cu Electrical Contact Materials显示文摘Nanostructured (NS) W-Cu composite powder was prepared by mechanical alloying (MA), and nanostructured bulk ofW-Cu contact material was fabricated by hot pressed sintering in an electrical vacuum furnace. The microstructure,electric conductivity, hardness, breakdown voltage and arcing time of NS W-Cu alloys were measured and comparedto conventional W-Cu alloys prepared by powder metallurgy. The results show that microstructural refinement anduniformity can improve the breakdown behavior, the electric arc stability and the arc extinction ability of nanos-tructured W-Cu contacts materials. | 3 | Investigation of mutual effects among additives in electrolyte for plasma electrolytic oxidation on magnesium alloys显示文摘Plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO)coatings were prepared on AZ91D magnesium alloys in alkaline silicate-based electrolyte with and without additives.The mutual effects among additives including TiC particles,dispersant polyethylene glycol 6000(PEG6000)and anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)were studied based on orthogonal experiment.The content and distribution of TiC deposited in the coatings were measured by EPMA and EDS.The thicknesses,phase compositions,microstructures and corrosion resistances of the codlings were cAarnined by using TT260 eddy current tuickncss gage,XRD,SEM and clcctrochcniical test,respectively.The results show that the experiment design of this study is the key to study the mutual effects among these additives.Each additive and their interactions all remarkably influence TiC content and corrosion resistance of the coatings.Smaller size TiC is much easier to migrate towards the anode,and the interaction between PEG6000 and SDS both effectively prevents its agglomeration and increases the number of its negative surface charges,which further increase the migration rate and the deposited uniformity of TiC and make TiC have more opportunity to deposit in the discharge channel.Thus,when smaller size TiC,PEG6000 and SDS are all added into the electrolyte,they could improve the anti-corrosion property of the coating to the largest extent attributed to higher TiC content and the densest microstructure of the coating. | Lingyun An Ying Ma Le Sun Zhanying Wang Sheng Wang | 2020 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2020,8,2: | 9 |

| 5 | GNP6,a novel allele of MOC1,regulates panicle and tiller development in rice显示文摘The yield of rice is mostly affected by three factors,namely,panicle number,grain number and grain weight.Variation in panicle and grain numbers is mainly caused by tiller and panicle branches generated from axillary meristems(AMs).MOC1 encodes a putative GRAS family nuclear protein that regulates AM formation.Although several alleles of MOC1 have been identified,its variation in germplasm resources remains unclear.In the present study we characterized a novel mocl allele named gnp6 which has a thymine insertion in the coding sequence of the SAW motif in the GRAS domain.This mutation causes arrested branch formation.The SAW motif is necessary for nuclear localization of GNP6/MOC1 where it functions as a transcription factor or co-regulator.Haplotype analysis showed that the coding region of GNP6/MOC1 was conserved without any non-synonymous mutations in 240 rice accessions.However,variation in the promoter region might affect the expression of it and its downstream genes.Joint haplotype analysis of GNP6/MOC1 and MOC3 showed that haplotype combinations H9,H10 and H11,namely MOC1-Hap1 in combination with MOC3-Hap3,MOC3-Hap4 or MOC3-Hap5 could be bred to promote branch formation.These findings will enrich the genetic resources available for rice breeders. | Zhanying Zhang Xingming Sun Xiaoqian Ma Bingxia Xu Yong Zhao Zhiqi Ma Gangling Li Najeeb Ullah Khan Yinghua Pan Yuntao Liang Hongliang Zhang Jinjie Li Zichao Li | 2021 | The Crop Journal2021,9,1: | 6 |

| 8 | Epidemiology of Animal Rabies—China,2010–2020显示文摘Introduction:Rabies is a fatal zoonotic infectious disease that poses a serious threat to public health in China.Since 2005,a National Animal Rabies Surveillance System has been operating to understand the rabies situation in animals in China with a view to control and eventually eliminate dog-mediated human rabies.Methods:From 2010,the brain tissues of dogs,livestock,and wild animals showing rabies-like clinical signs were collected and tested by the National Reference Laboratory(NRL)for Animal Rabies to analyze the epidemiological characteristics of rabies,including animal species,geographic distribution,and transmission sources.Over the same period,clinically suspected animal rabies cases were collected by Animal Disease Control Centers through the National Animal Disease Monitoring Information Platform(NADMIP)and then reported in the Veterinary Bulletin.Results:During 2010–2020,170 of 212 suspected animal rabies cases were submitted to and confirmed by NRL as rabies virus-positive.Of these confirmed cases dogs,especially free-roaming and ownerless dogs in rural areas,were major transmission hosts(71/170).A total of 51 infected dogs attacked humans with 45 biting more than one person.The dog cases were reported all year round,but with significantly more in spring and summer.The majority of livestock rabies cases(70/80)being caused by rabid wild foxes in Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia revealed that foxes play a pivotal role in animal rabies epizootics in the north and northwest of the country.Conclusion:Dogs were the main transmission sources of rabies in China,and along with the recent increase of rabies in foxes and other wildlife,presented an increasing threat to livestock and public health. | Ye Feng Jihong Ma Sheng Sun Lijuan Chi Zhanying Kou Changchun Tu | 2021 | China CDC weekly2021,3,39: | 3 |

The effect of hydrothermal temperatures on the photocatalytic efficiency of as-prepared SnS2 nanoflakes was investigated. | 11 | Variations in OsSPL10 confer drought tolerance by directly regulating OsNAC2 expression and ROS production in rice显示文摘Drought is a major factor restricting the production of rice(Oryza sativa L.).The identification of natural variants for drought stress-related genes is an important step toward developing genetically improved rice varieties.Here,we characterized a member of the SQUAMOSA PROMOTER BINDING PROTEIN-LIKE(SPL)family,OsSPL10,as a transcription factor involved in the regulation of drought tolerance in rice.OsSPL10 appears to play a vital role in drought tolerance by controlling reactive oxygen species(ROS)production and stomatal movements.Haplotype and allele frequency analyses of OsSPL10 indicated that most upland rice and improved lowland rice varieties harbor the OsSPL10Hap1allele,whereas the OsSPL10Hap2allele was mainly present in lowland and landrace rice varieties.Importantly,we demonstrated that the varieties with the OsSPL10Hap1allele showed low expression levels of OsSPL10 and its downstream gene,OsNAC2,which decreases the expression of OsAP37 and increases the expression of OsCOX11,thus preventing ROS accumulation and programmed cell death(PCD).Furthermore,the knockdown or knockout of OsSPL10 induced fast stomatal closure and prevented water loss,thereby improving drought tolerance in rice.Based on these observations,we propose that OsSPL10 confers drought tolerance by regulating OsNAC2 expression and that OsSPL10Hap1could be a valuable haplotype for the genetic improvement of drought tolerance in rice. | Yingxiu Li Shichen Han Xingming Sun Najeeb Ullah Khan Qun Zhong Zhanying Zhang Hongliang Zhang Feng Ming Zichao Li Jinjie Li | 2023 | Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2023,65,4: | 2 |
| 12 | Toll-like receptor 9 defciency induces osteoclastic bone loss via gut microbiota-associated systemic chronic inflammation显示文摘Toll-like receptors(TLRs)play pivotal roles in inflammation and provide important links between the immune and skeletal systems.Although the activation of TLRs may affect osteoclast differentiation and bone metabolism,whether and how TLRs are required for normal bone remodeling remains to be fully explored.In the current study,we show for the first time that TLR9^(-/-)mice exhibit a low bone mass and low-grade systemic chronic inflammation,which is characterized by the expansion of CD4^(+)T cells and increased levels of inflammatory cytokines,including TNFα,RANKL,and IL1β.The increased levels of these cytokines significantly promote osteoclastogenesis and induce bone loss.Importantly,TLR9 deletion alters the gut microbiota,and this dysbiosis is the basis of the systemic inflammation and bone loss observed in TLR9^(-/-)mice.Furthermore,through single-cell RNA sequencing,we identified myeloid-biased hematopoiesis in the bone marrow of TLR9^(-/-)mice and determined that the increase in myelopoiesis,likely caused by the adaptation of hematopoietic stem cells to systemic inflammation,also contributes to inflammation-induced osteoclastogenesis and subsequent bone loss in TLR9^(-/-)mice.Thus,our study provides novel evidence that TLR9 signaling connects the gut microbiota,immune system,and bone and is critical in maintaining the homeostasis of inflammation,hematopoiesis,and bone metabolism under normal conditions. | Peng Ding Qiyuan Tan Zhanying Wei Qiyu Chen Chun Wang Luyue Qi Li Wen Changqing Zhang Chen Yao | 2022 | Bone Research2022,10,3: | 2 |

| 16 | Microfluidic adhesion analysis of single glioma cells for evaluating the effect of drugs显示文摘Cancer metastasis is one of the most serious problems for tumor therapy,which is closely related to cell adhesion and deadhesion process.Better comprehension of cell adhesion ability will benefit drug research.Here,a biomimetic microfluidic enzyme digestion method was proposed to gently measure the influence of drugs on cell-matrix adhesion ability at the single cell level.The method can selectively digest the extracellular matrix(ECM)that linked to a single cell,and the trypsin concentration around the cell is relatively uniform and constant,thus the measured cell adhesion strength should be precise.Commercially available anti-cancer agents including 5-fluorouracil(5-FU),actinomycin D(Act D),temozolomide(TMZ)and allicin were evaluated,and the data showed only TMZ and allicin can inhibit cell adhesion significantly under our experiment conditions.The influence of TMZ became more and more obvious as the increase of duration and the effect became prominent only after 6 h adhesion process,which could provide a quick evaluation of whether the drugs are effective to cancer cell(compared with Calcein-AM/PI cell viability test).The adhesion strength of U87 cells decreased when the concentration of TMZ increased,and the effect of TMZ can be effectively inhibited by adding lactic acid to culture medium,which indicated acidic tumor microenvironment could promote drug resistance of tumor cells.Different from conventional evaluation methods which focus on the drugs’influence on cellular viability or metabolism,this work provides a new perspective to study the effect of drugs,which is helpful to enrich the drug evaluation system. | Qiang Zhang Sifeng Mao Weiwei Li Qiushi Huang Shuo Feng Zhanying Hong Jin-Ming Lin | 2020 | Science China Chemistry2020,63,6: | 1 |
