1Necessity and feasibility of improving the residual resistance factor of polymer flooding in heavy oil reservoirs显示文摘The efficiency of water flooding in heavy oil reservoirs would be improved by increasing the viscosity of the displacing phase, but the sweep efficiency is not of significance due to the low mobility of the vicious oil. On the basis of mobility control theory, increasing the residual resistance factor not only reduces the water-oil mobility ratio but also decreases the requirement for viscosity enhancement of the polymer solution. The residual resistance factor caused by hydrophobic associating polymer solution is higher than that caused by polyacrylamide solution in brine containing high concentrations of calcium and magnesium ions. The results of numerical simulations show that the polymer flooding efficiency improved by increasing the residual resistance factor is far better than that by only increasing solution viscosity. The recovery factor of heavy oil reservoirs (70 mPa·s) can be enhanced by hydrophobic associating polymer solution of high residual resistance factor (more than 3) and high effective viscosity (24 mPa·s). 4The study on the safety and efficacy of amnion graft for preventing the recurrence of moderate to severe intrauterine adhesions显示文摘Transcervical resection of adhesion(TCRA)is the standard treatment for the intrauterine adhesions,but the recurrence of adhesions is a tough problem for the gynecologist.In addition,the therapeutic strategy after TCRA about prevention of recurrence remains controversial especially for the patients with moderate to severe intrauterine adhesions(IUAs).Hence,we designed this study to explore the safety and efficacy of fresh amnion grafts for preventing the recurrence after TCRA for patients with moderate to severe IUAs.One hundred patients with moderate to severe IUAs who presented with a history of hypomenorrhea,amenorrhea and infertility were included in the study from January 2015 to December 2017.Patients were divided into amnion group(52 patients)and chitosan group(48 patients).Fresh amnion grafts or intrauterine injections of chitosan were administered after TCRA.Transvaginal ultrasonography(TVUS)and hysteroscopy were performed at the first and third month after the operation.The surgical procedures for all patients were completed successfully without relevant complications.In amnion group,8 patients exhibited relapse in the first month and 2 patients in three months after surgery;in chitosan group,23 women exhibited relapse in the first month and 18 patients in three months after surgery.Statistical analysis revealed that the recurrence rate of adhesion in amnion group was significantly lower than those of chitosan group in the first and three months after surgery(P1=0.000,P2=0.000).After TCRA,fresh amnion graft plays a significant role in preventing further adhesions than injections of chitosan.Changjiang Li Aiqi Cai Congcong Sun Benyuan Wu Xinpei Chen Yanhua Mao Yingfeng Zhang Yating Gou Jie Yu Yuhan Wang Huanhuan Yu Jia Wang 2020Genes & Diseases2020,7,2:11
5A transgene-free method for rapid and efficient generation of precisely edited pigs without monoclonal selection显示文摘Gene-edited pigs for agricultural and biomedical applications are typically generated using somatic cell nuclear transfer(SCNT).However, SCNT requires the use of monoclonal cells as donors, and the time-consuming and laborious monoclonal selection process limits the production of large populations of gene-edited animals. Here, we developed a rapid and efficient method named RE-DSRNP(reporter RNA enriched dual-sg RNA/CRISPR-Cas9 ribonucleoproteins) for generating gene-edited donor cells. RE-DSRNP takes advantage of the precise and efficient editing features of dual-sg RNA and the high editing efficiency, low off-target effects, transgene-free nature, and low cytotoxic characteristics of reporter RNA enriched RNPs(CRISPR-Cas9ribonucleoproteins), thus eliminating the need for the selection of monoclonal cells and thereby greatly reducing the generation time of donor cells from 3–4 weeks to 1 week, while also reducing the extent of apoptosis and chromosomal aneuploidy of donor cells. We applied RE-DSRNP to produce cloned pigs bearing a deletion edit of the wild-type p53-induced phosphatase 1(WIP1)gene: among 32 weaned cloned pigs, 31(97%) carried WIP1 edits, and 15(47%) were homozygous for the designed fragment deletion, and no off-target event was detected. The WIP1 knockout(KO) pigs exhibited male reproductive disorders, illustrating the utility of RE-DSRNP for rapidly generating precisely edited animals for functional genomics and disease research. 6Prediction and control of trailing edge noise based on bionic airfoil显示文摘As a promising means,the passive porosity technology is used for the trailing-edge noise reduction of a bionic airfoil.The detailed two-dimensional Large Eddy Simulation is achieved to gain a better understanding of the prediction and passive control of trailing-edge noise source with the non-porous and porous treatment,respectively.The flow fields around the bionic airfoil indicate that the leading-edge separation causes both the noise contributors,i.e.,the turbulent boundary layer and the vortex shedding.In addition,the effect of the porous trailing edge is substantiated in the distribution of the static pressure.The relevant noise also suggests a pronounced noise reduction potential in excess of 10 dB,but it has dependence on the flow resistivities.The two trailing-edge noise reduction mechanisms are characterized:(1)the suppression of the tonal vortex shedding noise;(2)the reduction of broadband turbulent boundary layer scattering noise.The findings may be used as reference in the design of silent aircraft.GE ChangJiang ZHANG ZhiHui LIANG Ping ZHANG ChengChun REN LuQuan 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,7:6
7Plant crop remains from the outer burial pit of the Han Yangling Mausoleum and their significance to Early Western Han agriculture显示文摘A large amount of carbonized plant remains were discovered in one of the outer burial pits of the Han Yangling Mausoleum, which was built more than 2000 years ago for the Jing Emperor, Liu, Qi (188―141 cal a BC), the fourth emperor of the Western Han Dynasty. The remains are identified by phytolith analysis and macrofossil morphological features. Seeds from foxtail millet (Setaria italica), broomcorn millet (Panicum miliaceum), rice (Oryza sativa) and chenopod (possible Chenopodium giganteum) are identified, suggesting that these four crops might have been the staple plant foods in the capital area (Guanzhong area), Shaanxi Province during the Early Western Han Dynasty. Chenopods were often considered as weeds since they have only been rarely found as carbonized seeds in prehistoric sites. This is the first time such a large amount of seeds has been found at a site, which provides strong material evidence for chenopod cultivation with a long history in China. Wheat was thought to be promoted and popularized in the Guanzhong area since the Wu Emporor, Liu, Che (156―87 cal a BC), the fifth emperor of the Western Han Dynasty. 9Short-Term Dynamic Radar Quantitative Precipitation Estimation Based on Wavelet Transform and Support Vector Machine显示文摘Currently,Doppler weather radar in China is generally used for quantitative precipitation estimation(QPE)based on the Z–R relationship.However,the estimation error for mixed precipitation is very large.In order to improve the accuracy of radar QPE,we propose a dynamic radar QPE algorithm with a 6-min interval that uses the reflectivity data of Doppler radar Z9002 in the Shanghai Qingpu District and the precipitation data at automatic weather stations(AWSs)in East China.Considering the time dependence and abrupt changes of precipitation,the data during the previous 30-min period were selected as the training data.To reduce the complexity of radar QPE,we transformed the weather data into the wavelet domain by means of the stationary wavelet transform(SWT)in order to extract high and low-frequency reflectivity and precipitation information.Using the wavelet coefficients,we constructed a support vector machine(SVM)at all scales to estimate the wavelet coefficient of precipitation.Ultimately,via inverse wavelet transformation,we obtained the estimated rainfall.By comparing the results of the proposed method(SWTSVM)with those of Z=300×R1.4,linear regression(LR),and SVM,we determined that the root mean square error(RMSE)of the SWT-SVM method was 0.54 mm per 6 min and the average Threat Score(TS)could exceed 40%with the exception of the downpour category,thus remaining at a high level.Generally speaking,the SWT-SVM method can effectively improve the accuracy of radar QPE and provide an auxiliary reference for actual meteorological operational forecasting.Changjiang ZHANG Huiyuan WANG Jing ZENG Leiming MA Li GUAN 2020Journal of Meteorological Research2020,34,2:4

12Optimization of Process Parameters for in High-Energy Ball Milling of CNTs/Al2024 Composites Through Response Surface Methodology显示文摘The mathematical models are developed to evaluate the ultimate tensile strength( UTS) and hardness of CNTs / Al2024 composites fabricated by high-energy ball milling. The effects of the preparation variables which are milling time,rotational speed,mass fraction of CNTs and ball to powder ratio on UST and hardness of CNTs / Al2024 composites are investigated. Based on the central composite design( CCD),a quadratic model is developed to correlate the fabrication variables to the UST and hardness. From the analysis of variance( ANOVA),the most influential factor on each experimental design response is identified. The optimum conditions for preparing CNTs / Al2024 composites are found as follows: 1. 53 h milling time,900 r / min rotational speed,mass fraction of CNTs 2. 87% and Ball to powder ratio 25 ∶ 1. The predicted maximum UST and hardness are 273.30 MPa and 261.36 HV,respectively. And the experimental values are 283.25 MPa and256.8 HV,respectively. 14Bicontinuous porous membranes with micro-nano composite structure using a facile atomization-assisted nonsolvent induced phase separation method显示文摘The micro-nano composite structure can endow separation membranes with special surface properties,but it often has the problems of inefficient preparation process and poor structural stability.In this work,a novel atomization-assisted nonsolvent induced phase separation method,which is also highly efficient and very simple,has been developed.By using this method,a bicontinuous porous microfiltration membrane with robust micro-nano composite structure was obtained via commercially available polymers of polyacrylonitrile and polyvinylpyrrolidone.The formation mechanism of the micro-nano composite structure was proposed.The microphase separation of polyacrylonitrile and polyvinylpyrrolidone components during the atomization pretreatment process and the hydrogen bonding between polyacrylonitrile and polyvinylpyrrolidone molecules should have resulted in the nano-protrusions on the membrane skeleton.The membrane exhibits superhydrophilicity in air and superoleophobicity underwater.The membrane can separate both surfactant-free and surfactant-stabilized oil-in-water emulsions with high separation efficiency and permeation flux.With excellent antifouling property and robust microstructure,the membrane can easily be recycled for long-term separation.Furthermore,the scale-up verification from laboratory preparation to continuous production has been achieved.The simple,efficient,cost-effective preparation method and excellent membrane properties indicate the great potential of the developed membranes in practical applications.Jing Wang Guoyuan Pan Yu Li Yang Zhang Hongwei Shi Xuanbo Liu Hao Yu Muhua Zhao Yiqun Liu Changjiang Wu 2022Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2022,16,8:2
15Potential of geosynchronous SAR interferometric measurements in estimating three-dimensional surface displacements显示文摘The ability of differential interferometric synthetic aperture radar(DIn SAR) technology used for centimeter level deformation detection has been well-proved. Nevertheless, the applications of DIn SAR under the low Earth orbit(LEO) are limited to the line-of-sight(LOS) measurements, the limited observation area and the long revisited time. Geosynchronous SAR(GEO SAR), which runs in the height of 36000 km with the advantage of a short revisit time and a large observation area, is a potential approach to overcome the series problems in LEO SAR. This paper focuses on estimating three-dimensional(3D) displacements by using GEO SAR DIn SAR measurements acquired from multiple imaging geometries. Aiming to provide a normal solution for geologic hazard monitoring and relative geophysical application in the future, the errors induced by decorrelation noise, orbital ramp and ionospheric distortion are analyzed for the GEO SAR DIn SAR measurements. A series of experiments have been conducted to find the relationship between the 3D displacements and the DIn SAR observations which are provided with different noises and combinations of imaging geometries. The results reveal that 3D displacements can be expected from the combination of left-and right-looking GEO SAR DIn SAR measurements. 16Purification characteristics and parameters optimization of anthocyanin extracted from blueberry显示文摘To improve the yield and purity of anthocyanin extracted from blueberry,the characteristics and optimization for the separation and purification process of anthocyanin by AB-8 macroporous adsorbent resin was studied.In the absorption stage,the pH value has positive effect in ranges of 1.0-3.0 and the temperature rise has firstly negative then positive effect on adsorption rate of anthocyanin with adsorption time.In the desorption stage,the ethanol concentration increase has firstly positive then steady effect and the temperature rise has positive and then negative effect on desorption rate of anthocyanin.The purification temperature may improve diffusion or induce degradation of anthocyanin.AB-8 macroporous adsorbent resin is suitable to purify the anthocyanin from extract of powdered blueberries and the optimum parameters were obtained by using Design Expert software as adsorption time of 3 h,pH value of 1.0,adsorption temperature of 18℃ in absorption stage and desorption time of 30 min,ethanol concentration of 46.5%,desorption temperature of 22℃ in desorption stage with the highest absorption rate and desorption rate are 87.65% and 84.80%,respectively.Zheng Xianzhe Zhang Zhaoguo Jin Changjiang Mu Yanqiu Liu Chenghai Chen Zhiying Liu Haijun Lin Zhen 2015International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2015,8,2:2
17Edge superconductivity in multilayer WTe2 Josephson junction显示文摘WTe2,as a type-ⅡWeyl semimetal,has 2D Fermi arcs on the(O01)surface in the bulk and 1D helical edge states in its monolayer.These features have recently attracted wide attention in condensed matter physics.However,in the intermediate regime between the bulk and monolayer,the edge states have not been resolved owing to its closed band gap which makes the bulk states dominant.Here,we report the signatures of the edge superconductivity by superconducting quantum interference measurements in multilayerWTe2 Josephson junctions and we directly map the localized supercurrent.In thickWTe(~60nm),the supercurrent is uniformly distributed by bulk states with symmetricJosephson effect(|Ic+(B)|=|Ic^-(B)|).In thin WTe2(10 nm),however,the supercurrent becomes confined to the edge and its width reaches up to 1.4μm and exhibits non-symmetric behavior|Ic^+(B)|≠|Ic^-(B)|.The ability to tune the edge domination by changing thickness and the edge superconductivity establishes WTez as a promising topological system with exotic quantum phases and a rich physics.Ce Huang Awadhesh Narayan Enze Zhang Xiaoyi Xie Linfeng Ai Shanshan Liu Changjiang Yi Youguo Shi Stefano Sanvito Faxian Xiu 2020National Science Review2020,7,9:2
18A HIGH SENSITIVITY AND WIDE DYNAMIC RANGE ZERO-IF RF RECEIVER FOR COGNITIVE RADIO APPLICATION显示文摘This paper presents an RF receiver of zero-Intermediate Frequency(IF) architecture for Cognitive Radio(CR) communication systems.Zero-IF architecture reduce the image reject filter and IF filter,so it is excellent in low cost,compact volume,and low power dissipation.The receiver employs three digital attenuator and a high gain,high linearity low noise amplifier to achieve wide dynamic range of 70 dB and high receiving sensitivity of-81 dBm.A fully balanced I/Q demodulator and a differential Local Oscillator(LO) chips are used to minimize the negative effects caused by second-order distortion and LO leakage.In order to select an 8 MHz-channel from 14 continuous ones located in UHF band(694-806 MHz) accurately,approach of channel selectivity circuits is proposed.The RF receiver has been designed,fabricated,and test.The measured result shows that the noise figure is 3.4 dB,and the error vector magnitude is 7.5% when the input power is-81 dBm.Liu Jing Zhu Xiaowei Zhang Xiaodong You Changjiang 2010Journal of Electronics(China)2010,27,5:2
19Human Bop is a novel BH3-only member of the Bcl-2 protein family显示文摘One group of Bcl-2 protein family,which shares only the BH3 domain(BH3-only),is critically involved in the regulation of programmed cell death.Herein we demonstrated a novel human BH3-only protein(designated as Bop)which could induce apoptosis in a BH3 domain-dependent manner.Further analysis indicated that Bop mainly localized to mitochondria and used its BH3 domain to contact the loop regions of voltage dependent anion channel 1(VDAC1)in the outer mitochondrial membrane.In addition,purified Bop protein induced the loss of mitochondrial transmembrane potential(ΔΨm)and the release of cytochrome c.Furthermore,Bop used its BH3 domain to contact pro-survival Bcl-2 family members(Bcl-2,Bcl-XL,Mcl-1,A1 and Bcl-w),which could inhibit Bop-induced apoptosis.Bop would be constrained by pro-survival Bcl-2 proteins in resting cells,because Bop became released from phosphorylated Bcl-2 induced by microtubule-interfering agent like vincristine(VCR).Indeed,knockdown experiments indicated that Bop was partially required for VCR induced cell death.Finally,Bop might need to function through Bak and Bax,likely by releasing Bak from Bcl-XL sequestration.In conclusion,Bop may be a novel BH3-only factor that can engage with the regulatory network of Bcl-2 family members to process intrinsic apoptotic signaling.Xiaoping Zhang Changjiang Weng Yuan Li Xiaoyan Wang Chunsun Jiang Xuemei Li Youli Xu Quan Chen Lei Pan Hong Tang 2012Protein & Cell2012,3,10:2
20Effect of yttrium on microstructure and mold filling capacity of a near-α high temperature titanium alloy显示文摘The addition of rare earth yttrium(Y) can improve the performances of high temperature titanium alloys,such as the tensile ductility,thermal stability and creep property,etc.However,few studies on the effect of Y on the castability of titanium alloys have been carried out,which is significant to fabrication of thin-walled complex titanium castings by investment casting.In this study,the microstructure and mold filling capacity of a Ti-1100 alloy with different Y additions(0,0.1wt.%,0.3wt.%,0.5wt.% and 1.0wt.%) were investigated systematically through investment casting experiments,and the casting experiments were carried out in a centrifugal titanium casting machine.The microstructures of the alloy were observed via the optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy.The mold filling capacity was tested by using of a grid pattern and was evaluated by the number of segments completely filled by the cast alloy.The results indicate that the grain size is decreased and the mold filling capacity is improved significantly with increasing the addition of Y from 0 to 1.0wt.%.The average primary grain size of Ti-1100 alloy is reduced from 250 μm to 50 μm and the mold filling capacity is increased from 61.5% to 100%.Considering the potential harmful effect on tensile properties of titanium alloys due to high concentrations of Y,it is suggested that Y addition should be about 0.3wt.%.Zhao Ertuan Chen Yuyong Kong Fantao Zhang Changjiang Xiao Shulong 2012China Foundry2012,9,4:1
