1Enhancement of T cell infiltration via tumor-targeted Th9 cell delivery improves the efficacy of antitumor immunotherapy of solid tumors显示文摘Insufficient infiltration of T cells severely compromises the antitumor efficacy of adoptive cell therapy(ACT)against solid tumors.Here,we present a facile immune cell surface engineering strategy aiming to substantially enhance the anti-tumor efficacy of Th9-mediated ACT by rapidly identifying tumor-specific binding ligands and improving the infiltration of infused cells into solid tumors.Non-genetic decoration of Th9 cells with tumor-targeting peptide screened from phage display not only allowed precise targeted ACT against highly heterogeneous solid tumors but also substantially enhanced infiltration of CD8+T cells,which led to improved antitumor outcomes.Mechanistically,infusion of Th9 cells modified with tumor-specific binding ligands facilitated the enhanced distribution of tumor-killing cells and remodeled the immunosuppressive microenvironment of solid tumors via IL-9 mediated immunomodulation.Overall,we presented a simple,cost-effective,and cell-friendly strategy to enhance the efficacy of ACT against solid tumors with the potential to complement the current ACT.Tao Chen Yucheng Xue Shengdong Wang Jinwei Lu Hao Zhou Wenkan Zhang Zhiyi Zhou Binghao Li Yong Li Zenan Wang Changwei Li Yinwang Eloy Hangxiang Sun Yihang Shen Mohamed Diaty Diarra Chang Ge Xupeng Chai Haochen Mou Peng Lin Xiaohua Yu Zhaoming Ye 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,5:0
2Evaluation of phenanthrene removal from soil washing effluent by activated carbon adsorption using response surface methodology显示文摘Soil washing is a promising technology for the remediation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAH)-contaminated sites,but surfactant needs to be recovered to reduce remediation cost and avoid secondary pollution.In this study,activated carbon(AC),prepared from waste walnut shells,was applied to the adsorptive removal of phenanthrene(PHE)from synthetic soil washing effluent with Tween 80 as a model surfactant.Box-Behnken statistical experiment design(BBD)and response surface methodology(RSM)were used to investigate the influence of AC dosage,Tween 80 concentration and adsorption time,and their potential interaction effect on PHE removal.A response surface model was established based on the BBD experimental results.The goodness of fit of the model was confirmed by determination coefficient,coefficient of variation(CV)and residuals analysis.The RSM model indicates that AC dosage or adsorption time had positive effect on PHE removal while Tween 80 concentration had negative effect.The interaction effect between AC dosage and Tween 80 concentration was significant but the other two interaction effects were not.The 3D response surface plots were developed based on the RSM equation.The RSM model was validated by an additional experiment and the obtained result of PHE removal was very close to the model prediction,indicating the RSM model can effectively predict the PHE removal from soil washing effluent with activated carbon adsorption.Zenan Wang Xin Zheng Yan Wang Heng Lin Hui Zhang 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,2:0
3Conversion of syngas to methanol and DME on highly selective Pd/ZnAl_(2)O_(4) catalyst显示文摘Supported Pd catalysts with varied Pd loadings(x=0.5 wt%, 2.0 wt%, 5.0 wt%, 7.5 wt%, 15.0 wt%) were prepared by the incipient wetness impregnation method using a ZnAl_(2)O_(4) spinel support.We found that ZnAl_(2)O_(4) supported Pd catalysts with low Pd loadings(e.g., 0.5 wt%) are very selective in syngas conversion to methanol and dimethyl-ether(DME).XRD and TEM characterization shows that,after reduction at350℃,PdZnβ phase with Pd:Zn molar ratio of 1:1 is favored to form predominantly on the spinel support at relatively low Pd loadings,i.e.less than 5.0 wt%, while Pd-rich PdZnα alloy phase exists at Pd loadings above 5.0 wt%.A higher reduction temperature such as 500℃ can facilitate the transformation from PdZnα to PdZnβ phase in those catalysts with high Pd loading.We further found that catalysts with predominant PdZnβ phase are selective in the methanol and DME production from syngas,while the presence of PdZnα phase leads to the notable formation of alkanes byproducts,resulting in reduced methanol and DME selectivity.DME formation from dehydration of methanol depends on the acidity of catalysts,which was found to increase with Pd loading,probably due to the formation of isolated Al_(2)O_(3) as a result of Zn migrating from ZnAl_(2)O_(4) spinel phase to form the PdZn phases with Pd.Liang Liu Zenan Lin Shanya Lin Yeyun Chen Lina Zhang Shaopeng Chen Xianhua Zhang Jingdong Lin Zhaoxia Zhang Shaolong Wan Yong Wang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,7:0
