Anomalous Power-Usage Behavior Detection from Smart Home Wireless Communications显示文摘With the rapid development of Internet of things(IoT)technologies, smart home systems are getting more and more popular in our daily life.Besides provid-ing convenient functionality and tangible benefits, smart home systems expose users to security risks. In this paper,we proposed SHGuard,an anomaly detection approach based on power usage data exposed from wireless commu-nications in the smart home system.SHGuard monitors and collects the electricity-usage data sent from the smart sockets.Based on the collected data,we developed a method to identify/infer the type of device and formally defined the user behavior pattern according to the device event features,e.g.,frequent sequence pattern set,the support degree, the sequence length and the occurrence time of the power changing event.SHGuard extracts and builds the normal behavior pattern during the initialization stage. It continuously infers the smart devices’states by monitoring the electricity usage data and updates the user behavior patterns.Any abnormal behaviors will be detected once the current user behavior pattern deviates from the original pattern. We prototyped our method and evaluated SHGuard using UCI dataset. The experiment results illustrated the efficiency of SHGuard. | Jian Mao Shishi Zhu Jingdong Bian Qixiao Lin Jianwei Liu | 2019 | Journal of Communications and Information Networks2019,4,1: | 1

A Novel Product Remaining Useful Life Prediction Approach Considering Fault Effects显示文摘In this paper,a novel remaining useful life prediction approach considering fault effects is proposed. The Wiener process is used to construct the degradation process of single performance characteristic with the fault effects. The first passage time based remaining useful life distribution is calculated by assuming fault occurrence moment is a random variable and follows a certain distribution.Expectation maximization algorithm is employed to estimate model parameters, where the fault occurrence moment is considered as a missing data. Finally,a Copula function is used to describe the dependence between the multiple performance characteristics and derive joint remaining useful life(RUL)distribution of product with the fault effects. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is verified by the experiments of turbofan engines. | Jingdong Lin Zheng Lin Guobo Liao Hongpeng Yin | 2021 | IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2021,8,11: | 0
Paclitaxel and cisplatin with or without cetuximab in metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma:a randomized, multicenter phase II trial显示文摘Lack of effective targeted therapy in metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)underscores the urgent need for identifying new treatment approaches for this challenging disease. We sought to assess the addition of cetuximab to paclitaxel-cisplatin chemotherapy for first-line treatment in patients with metastatic ESCC.In this randomized,multicenter,open-label,phase II clinical trial, patients were randomized to receive paclitaxel-cisplatin(TP)(paclitaxel[175 mg/m^(2) intravenously(i.v.)on day 1 of every 3-week cycle]and cisplatin[75 mg/m^(2) i.v.on day 1 of every 3-week cycle])and TP plus cetuximab(CTP)(cetuximab,400 mg/m^(2) i.v.on day 1 of week 1,followed by 250 mg/m^(2) weekly). | Zhihao Lu Yanqiao Zhang Qingxia Fan Yueyin Pan Da Jiang Ping Lu Jingdong Zhang Xianglin Yuan Jifeng Feng Shujun Yang Wenbin Yue Lin Zhao Yunhua Xu Jinhua Luo Lin Shen | 2022 | The Innovation2022,3,3: | 0
Parallel isolation of calicivirus and reovirus from lethal co-infected mink during a potential epidemic of farmed mink infections显示文摘Mink has been identified as an animal with susceptibility to SARS-CoV-2 and also as the only animal with evidence to transmit the virus back to humans. Thus, the surveillance of viruses among high-density farmed minks has a significant meaning for the control of zoonotic emerging diseases in humans.Within anal swabs of minks that died of unknown causes in a mink farm, mink calicivirus(MCV)and mammalian orthoreovirus(MRV)were detected and simultaneously observed within MDCK cell culture from the sample of the same lethal mink. The parallel isolation was successfully performed by utilizing cell lines from different host sources with distinct viral sensitivities,i.e.Mv.1.Lu and Vero-E6 and the two viruses were independently separated. The prevalence of the virus among the minks and its genomic characteristics were investigated through deep sequencing technology.Phylogenetic analysis of the viral genome showed a close relationship of the newly isolated MCV-GCCDC8-2020 with MCV strains belonging to the genus Vesivirus, but with unique mutations derived from the major structural protein(VP1).The reovirus MRV-GCCDC9-2020 isolated from the same mink belongs to serotype 3 mammalian orthoreovirus and genome analysis showed a potential reassortment derived from reoviruses in different species. This study provides a beneficial reference on viral co-infection within disease investigation in farmed minks and raises the concern for the virus surveillance among the high-density fed animal farms. | Yuanyuan Guo William J.Liu Jingdong Song Kexin Zong Hao Lin Xin Li Shuting Huo Sai Liu Hongli Ran Hongmei Li Peipei Liu He Huang George F.Gao Guizhen Wu | 2021 | Biosafety and Health2021,3,5: | 0
Conversion of syngas to methanol and DME on highly selective Pd/ZnAl_(2)O_(4) catalyst显示文摘Supported Pd catalysts with varied Pd loadings(x=0.5 wt%, 2.0 wt%, 5.0 wt%, 7.5 wt%, 15.0 wt%) were prepared by the incipient wetness impregnation method using a ZnAl_(2)O_(4) spinel support. We found that ZnAl_(2)O_(4) supported Pd catalysts with low Pd loadings(e.g., 0.5 wt%) are very selective in syngas conversion to methanol and dimethyl-ether(DME).XRD and TEM characterization shows that, after reduction at350℃,PdZnβ phase with Pd:Zn molar ratio of 1:1 is favored to form predominantly on the spinel support at relatively low Pd loadings,i.e.less than 5.0 wt%, while Pd-rich PdZnα alloy phase exists at Pd loadings above 5.0 wt%.A higher reduction temperature such as 500℃ can facilitate the transformation from PdZnα to PdZnβ phase in those catalysts with high Pd loading. We further found that catalysts with predominant PdZnβ phase are selective in the methanol and DME production from syngas, while the presence of PdZnα phase leads to the notable formation of alkanes byproducts, resulting in reduced methanol and DME selectivity.DME formation from dehydration of methanol depends on the acidity of catalysts, which was found to increase with Pd loading, probably due to the formation of isolated Al_(2)O_(3) as a result of Zn migrating from ZnAl_(2)O_(4) spinel phase to form the PdZn phases with Pd. | Liang Liu Zenan Lin Shanya Lin Yeyun Chen Lina Zhang Shaopeng Chen Xianhua Zhang Jingdong Lin Zhaoxia Zhang Shaolong Wan Yong Wang | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,7: | 0
