| 1 | Effect of Reclamation Time and Land Use on Soil Properties in Changjiang River Estuary,China显示文摘The objective of this study is to analyze soil physical and chemical properties,soil comprehensive functions and impact factors after different years of reclamation.Based on the survey data taken from 216 soil sampling points in the Fengxian Reclamation Area of the Changjiang (Yangtze) River Estuary,China in April 2009 and remotely sensed TM data in 2006,while by virtue of multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA),geo-statistical analysis (GA),prin-cipal component analysis (PCA) and canonical correspondence analysis (CCA),it was concluded that:1) With the in-crease in reclamation time,soil moisture,soil salinity,soil electric conductivity and soil particle size tended to decline,yet soil organic matter tended to increase.Soil available phosphorous tended to increase in the early reclamation period,yet it tended to decline after about 49 years of reclamation.Soil nitrate nitrogen,soil ammonia nitrogen and pH changed slightly in different reclamation years.Soil physical and chemical properties reached a steady state after about 30 years of reclamation.2) According to the results of PCA analysis,the weighted value (0.97 in total) that represents soil nutrient factors (soil nitrate nitrogen,soil organic matter,soil available phosphorous,soil ammonia nitrogen,pH and soil particle size) were higher than the weighted value (0.48 in total) of soil limiting factors (soil salinity,soil elec-tric conductivity and soil moisture).The higher the F value is,the better the soil quality is.3) Different land use types play different roles in the soil function maturity process,with farmlands providing the best contribution.4) Soil physi-cal and chemical properties in the reclamation area were mainly influenced by reclamation time,and then by land use types.The correlation (0.1905) of the composite index of soil function (F) with reclamation time was greater than that with land use types (-0.1161). | SUN Yongguang LI Xiuzhen ülo MANDER HE Yanlong JIA Yue MA Zhigang GUO Wenyong XIN Zaijun | 2011 | Chinese Geographical Science2011,21,4: | 17 |
| 2 | Major advances in studies of the physical geography and living environment of China during the past 70 years and future prospects显示文摘The natural environment provides material essentials for human survival and development. The characteristics,processes, regional differentiation and forcing mechanisms of the elements of the natural environment(e.g. geomorphology,climate, hydrology, soil, etc.) are the main objects of research in physical geography. China has a complex natural environment and huge regional differentiation and therefore it provides outstanding reserach opportunities in physical geography. This review summarizes the most important developments and the main contributions of research in the physical geography and human living environment in China during the past 70 years. The major topics addressed are the uplift of the Tibetan Plateau and the evolution of its cryosphere, the development of fluvial systems, the acidification of the vast arid region of the Asian interior, variations in the monsoon and westerly climate systems on multiple timescales, the development of lakes and wetlands, the watershed system model, soil erosion, past human-environment interactions, biogeography, and physical geographic zonality. After briefly introducing international research developments, we review the history of research in physical geography in China, focusing on the major achievements and major academic debates, and finally we summarize the status of current research and the future prospects. | 3 | Maintaining the balance of TDP-43,mitochondria,and autophagy:a promising therapeutic strategy for neurodegenerative diseases显示文摘Mitochondria are the energy center of cell operations and are involved in physiological functions and maintenance of metabolic balance and homeostasis in the body.Alterations of mitochondrial function are associated with a variety of degenerative and acute diseases.As mitochondria age in cells,they gradually become inefficient and potentially toxic Acute injury can trigger the permeability of mitochondrial membranes,which can lead to apoptosis or necrosis.Transactive response DNA-binding protein 43 kDa(TDP-43)is a protein widely present in cells.It can bind to RNA,regulate a variety of RNA processes,and play a role in the formation of multi-protein/RNA complexes.Thus,the normal physiological functions of TDP-43 are particularly important for cell survival.Normal TDP-43 is located in various subcellular structures including mitochondria,mitochondrial-associated membrane,RNA particles and stress granules to regulate the endoplasmic reticulum-mitochondrial binding,mitochondrial protein translation,and mRNA transport and translation.Importantly,TDP-43 is associated with a variety of neurodegenerative diseases,including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis,frontotemporal dementia and Alzheimer's disease,which are characterized by abnormal phosphorylation,ubiquitination,lysis or nuclear depletion of TDP-43 in neurons and glial cells.Although the pathogenesis of TDP-43 proteinopathy remains unknown,the presence of pathological TDP-43 inside or outside of mitochondria and the functional involvement of TDP-43 in the regulation of mitochondrial morphology,transport,and function suggest that mitochondria are associated with TDP-43-related diseases.Autophagy is a basic physiological process that maintains the homeostasis of cells,including targeted clearance of abnormally aggregated proteins and damaged organelles in the cytoplasm;therefore,it is considered protective against neurodegenerative diseases.However,the combination of abnormal TDP-43 aggregation,mitochondrial dysfunction,and insufficient autophagy can lead to a variety of aging-related pathologies.In this review,we describe the current knowledge on the associations of mitochondria with TDP-43 and the role of autophagy in the clearance of abnormally aggregated TDP-43 and dysfunctional mitochondria.Finally,we discuss a novel approach for neurodegenerative treatment based on the knowledge. | Chunhui Huang Sen Yan Zaijun Zhang | 2020 | Translational Neurodegeneration2020,9,4: | 5 |
| 4 | 胸腔置管白介素-2联合顺铂治疗恶性胸腔积液的临床观察(英文)显示文摘Objective: The aim of our study was to explore the short-term effects and complication of interleukin-2 (IL-2) combining with Cisplatin in the treatment of malignant hydrothorax.Methods: Sixty-two cases patients with malignant hydrothorax were randomly divided into two groups.Observation group was 31 examples,thoracic cavity injection IL-2 and Cisplatin;31 cases in control group using Cisplatin alone intra-thoracic injection.The regime of every week for 1–4 weeks was used to observe short term effects and complications.Results: The total response rate in observe group was higher than that in control group (90.3% vs.68.1%),which had statistically significant difference (P < 0.05).The complications included gastrointestinal tract reaction,bone marrow inhibition,chest pain and fever.The incidence rates of chest pain and fever in observe group was slightly higher than that in control group,but there was no statistically significant difference (P > 0.05).Conclusion: The IL-2 combining with Cisplatin intra-thoracic injection for malignant hydrothorax has the features of good therapeutic effects and slight poisonous side effects,which is worth to be used in clinic. | Cheng Xu Zaijun Zhang Yuezhen Hu Yeyuan Wang Mingquan Li | 2011 | The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2011,10,1: | 3 |

| 6 | A new method for optimal FTU placement in distribution network under consideration of power service reliability显示文摘Modern distribution network with high penetration of intermittent renewable sources and the so-called prosumers requires more reliable distribution automation(DA) system for safe operation and control. The design of optimal feeder terminal units(FTU)placement is critical and economical for the effective DA application. Previously proposed solutions of optimal FTU placement aiming to ensure the accuracy of state estimation(SE), typically include the following two main shortcomings: 1) only to obtain the optimal FTU placement in quantity, and the analysis of FTU location is not considered yet; 2) few consider the uncertainty of intermittent power injections in the analysis of state estimation. In this paper, a modified methodology of FTU placement is proposed not only aiming to ensure the accuracy of state estimation with the minimum number of meters, but also finding those specific FTU locations to guarantee the power service reliability. Moreover, the uncertainty models of those intermittent power injections are also considered by using probability density function(PDF). The resultant optimization problem is addressed by using the covariance matrix adaptation evolution strategy(CMA-ES). | 8 | Impact Factors on Distribution and Characteristics of Natural Plant Community in Reclamation Zones of Changjiang River Estuary显示文摘To identify impact factors on the distribution and characters of natural plants community in reclamation area, with survey data from 67 plant quadrats in July 2009, soil properties data from 216 sampling points in April 2009, and TM (30 m) data in 2006, the composition and characteristics of natural plants community in different time of the Fengxian area in the Changjiang (Yangtze) River estuary were analyzed with two-way indicator species analysis (TWINSPAN), multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), detrended canonical correspondence analysis (DCCA) and canonical correspondence analysis (CCA). The results show that: 1) The plant communities in the reclaimed area are mainly mesophytes and helophytic-mesophytic transitional communities, showing a gradient distribution trend with the change in reclamation years. Species richness (MA), species diversity (H) and above-ground biomass also increase with the increase of reclamation years.
