Melanin nanoparticles alleviate sepsis-induced myocardial injury by suppressing ferroptosis and inflammation显示文摘Myocardial injury as one of the severe complications leads to the increasing morbidity and mortality in patients with sepsis.Recent studies reported that reactive oxygen species(ROS)-mediated ferroptosis plays a critical role in the development of heart diseases. Therefore,we hypothesized that anti-ferroptosis agent might be a novel potential therapeutic strategy for sepsis-induced cardiac injury.Herein,we demonstrated that a small biocompatible and MRI-visible melanin nanoparticles(MMPP)improves myocardial function by inhibiting ROS-related ferroptosis signaling pathway. In LPS-induced murine sepsis model, after a single dose intravenously injection of MMPP treatment,MMPP markedly alleviated the myocardial injury including cardiac function and heart structure disorder through suppressing iron-accumulation induced ferroptosis. In vitro,MMPP inhibited cardiomyocyte death by attenuating oxidative stress, inflammation and maintaining mitochondrial homeostasis.Collectively, our findings demonstrated that MMPP protected heart against sepsis-induced myocardial injury via inhibiting ferroptosis and inflammation, which might be a novel therapeutic approach in future. | Chang Liu Quan Zou Huixin Tang Jia Liu Shiqi Zhang Caihong Fan Junwei Zhang Ruiqing Liu Yashan Liu Ruiyan Liu Yan Zhao Qiang Wu Zhi Qi Yanna Shen | 2023 | Bioactive Materials2023,,6: | 5

Improved Prefix Based Format-Preserving Encryption for Chinese Names显示文摘In the era of big data, government, business and personal digital information will be possible for data mining. Data mining requires massive data as a support. However, the direct release of the original mass data, which usually contain some sensitive information of personal or analysis, will result in leakage of user privacy. Therefore, it is becoming increasingly important to protect privacy information in data publishing. In this paper, we focus on the multi-type self-identified format-preserving encryption. First, we introduce a multi-type self-identified format-preserving encryption system and discuss the encryption of various types of data in this system. Then, for the format preserving encryption(FPE) about Chinese name, we study from the encryption model construction and basic encryption scheme. The format-preserving encryption model about Chinese name is constructed and the concept of the name library is presented. Based on this, it is used to not only limit the message space to reduce complexity, but also ensure the cipher in accordance with the Chinese naming habits. In addition, according to the encryption and decryption model, format-preserving encryption process of Chinese name is designed. In order to add new names, the algorithm of name space expansion is proposed. Based on the Prefix, this paper put forward an algorithm named Cycle-Prefix, which enhances the security and dynamics of FPE by using two adjustment factors and the circular encryption. Compared with the traditional Prefix algorithm, experiments show that Cycle-Prefix can not only complete the task of FPE for Chinese name, but also encrypt same plain text into different ciphers under the premise of similar efficiency with Prefix. | Junwei Zou Peng Wang Hong Luo | 2018 | China Communications2018,15,3: | 2

Multi-attribute-Based Access Control Policy for Supply Chain Data Service显示文摘The Electronic product code(EPC) network is established and maintained in worldwide-scale based on the EPC standard framework to guarantee the real-time information recognition, and provide efficient management for supply chain. In EPC network, a series of data services can be provided due to the requirements of users. Aiming to guarantee the security of data services, we propose a dynamic access control model for data services based on multiple attributes. We extract specific attribute sets from user, and calculate security level of user using certainty and uncertainty theories based on the attribute sets. The data can be provided to users according to the security level of user and data. The security of data in the supply chain can be guaranteed, and data acquisition can be dynamic and fine-grained. We deploy the proposed model to real supply chain management system we built to verify effectiveness and feasibility of the solution. | ZOU Junwei LAN Jiewei WANG Xiaoke LUO Hong | 2018 | Chinese Journal of Electronics2018,27,6: | 0

Service-Oriented Middleware for Heterogeneous Environment in Internet of Things显示文摘A great number of sensor technologies are applied in the Internet of Things (IoT) currently and more are emerging, which makes the IoT a heterogeneous network. This paper discusses the convergence and integration problem in IoT.A Service-Oriented Middleware for Heterogeneous Environment (SOMHE) in IoT is proposed. The purpose of the middleware is to shield the difference between protocols in the sensor layers such as Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and ZigBee by defining the data conversion and mapping model.A Web service interface is supplied by this middleware, thus the complexity of high level application development can be reduced greatly. The feasibility and reliability of this middleware is verified by a demonstration system. | Wu Yuexin Zhang Yinghai Fan Chunxiao Zou Junwei | 2012 | China Communications2012,9,9: | 0
UM15 reinforces a lymphocyte-mimicking nanotrap for precise HIV-1 inhibition显示文摘Even the potential of T cell-mimicking nanotrap for long term viral control due to its overcoming of human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)genetic diversity and viral resistance, the robust HIV inhibition was not expected because these nanotraps displayed no obvious advantages compared with the infinite host cells.Herein,a glycoprotein 120(gp120)-targeting polypeptide UM15 reinforced lymphocyte-mimicking nanotrap was constructed, and its improved HIV-1 inhibiting efficacy was validated.According to the results, the constructed nanotraps exhibited evident escaping ability from uptake of the mononuclear phagocyte system and highly improved binding ability with gp120 proteins. The constructed nanotraps neutralized all tested HIV-1 pseudo typed viruses with IC80 of 21.0μg/mL,and inhibited both X4-tropic and R5-tropic HIV-1 with IC80 of 34.4 and 20.6μg/mL,respectively.Approximately 40%of gp120 was observed to be shed from pseudo virus, and above 40%bystander T cells were prevented from gp120-induced death by the constructed nanotraps. The safety of the constructed nanotraps was confirmed both in vitro and in mice. Therefore, the constructed nanotraps could specifically neutralize free HIV-1,selectively bind with gp120 expressing HIV-1 infected cells, cause gp120 shedding, inhibit gp120-induced bystander T cell killing on the premise of safety, and were considered as promising therapeutic agents for precise inhibition of HIV. | Jinbang Zhang Zhengyang Li Jiaxin Li Hui Li Junwei Che Te Zhao Pengfei Zou Jingwan Han Yang Yang Meiyan Yang Yuli Wang Wei Gong Haihua Xiao Zhiping Li Lin Li Chunsheng Gao | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,7: | 0
Expression of Fragaria ananassa Osmotin-like Protein(FaOLP2) in E. coli:Purification and Antifungal Activity显示文摘[Objective]The FaOLP2(Fragaria ananassa osmotin-like protein)is a functional homolog of PR5-like protein. This study was undertaken to produce recombinant FaOLP2 and to identify its antifungal activity.[Method]The ORF of FaOLP2(accession number DQ325524)was cloned into pET22b vector to construct the pET22b-FaOLP2 plasmid. The recombinant mature FaOLP2 was expressed in E.coli Rosetta-gami B(DE3)by inducing with 1 mmol/L IPTG and found exclusively in insoluble inclusion bodies. As FaOLP2 requires the correct formation of eight disulfide bonds, but there were no obvious effect to correctly form these by expression at different temperatures and high osmotic pressure(supplemented Betaineand and D-Sorbitol),we used an in vitro method to refold E.coli expressed FaOLP2 by gradually elution using reduced:oxidized gluthatione redox buffer, followed by 8 mol/L urea solubilized His6-tagged mature FaOLP2 protein, which was affinity-purified by an immobilized-metal(Ni2+)affinity chromatography(IMAC)column.[Result]This method generated biologically active conformations of the recombinant mature FaOLP2 that displayed antifungal activity against Ustilaginoides virens,a plant pathogenic fungus, which causes rice false smut.[Conclusion]This study laid the foundation for further biotechnological application of the novel protein. | Bai LI Sufang LI Huandi LI Junwei SUN Keqin ZOU | 2013 | Agricultural Biotechnology2013,2,6: | 0
