1Preferential oxidation of CO in excess H_2 over CeO_2/CuO catalyst:Effect of calcination temperature显示文摘Different from the classical configuration CuO/CeO2 catalyst,the inverse configuration CeO2 /CuO catalyst (atomic ratio of Ce/Cu=10/100) was prepared by impregnation method.Five calcination temperatures were selected to investigate the interaction between CeO2 and CuO support.It is found that as calcination temperature increased from 500 to 900 C,sintering of CeO2 particles on the support occurred together with the diffusion of a portion of Ce 4+ ions into CuO crystals,forming solid solution.Formation of interface complex Ce-O-Cu was suggested by TPR measurements.The catalyst calcined at 700 C gives the highest activity for preferential oxidation of CO in excess H2 stream.Zhiming Gao Ming Zhou Hao Deng Yong Yue 2012Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2012,21,5:5
2Effect of the degree of milling on the physicochemical properties,pasting properties and in vitro digestibility of Simiao rice显示文摘Simiao rice is a variety of long-grain Indica rice popular in South China.However,researches on the milling technology of Simiao rice are limited.The effect of different degrees of milling(DOMs)of Simiao rice(0-12%)were evaluated in terms of the physicochemical properties and in vitro starch digestibility of the rice.The results showed that,as the DOM increased from 0 to 12%,the head rice yield(HRY)and the content of protein,lipid,dietary fiber,vitamin B1,vitamin E and niacin nonlinearly decreased,while the content of total starch and amylose and paste viscosity parameters nonlinearly increased.The differences in chemical constituents between the brown and milled Simiao rice with different DOMs lead to the variation in their pasting properties and in vitro digestibility.Because of lower content of slowly digestible starch(SDS)and resistant starch(RS),milled Simiao rice exhibited greater digestibility and a higher estimated glycaemic index(EGI).The EGI of Simiao rice ranged from 77.98 to 85.55,and remained almost constant(approximately 84)when the DOM was above 4%.Correlation analysis indicated that the EGI had strong negative correlations with lipid,protein,dietary fiber and RS,but a positive correlation with amylose.These results provide theoretical guidance for the production of Simiao rice with desired physicochemical properties and digestibility by adjusting the DOM.Zhiming Wang Mingwei Zhang Guang Liu Yuanyuan Deng Yan Zhang Xiaojun Tang Ping Li Zhencheng Wei 2021Grain & Oil Science and Technology2021,4,2:5
3Influence of white etching layer on rolling contact behavior at wheel-rail interface显示文摘The existence of narrow and brittle white etching layers(WELs)on the rail surface is often linked with the formation of rail defects such as squats and studs,which play the key roles in rail surface degradation and tribological performance.In the present study,a systematic investigation on stress/strain distribution and fatigue life of the WEL during wheel-rail rolling contact was conducted based on a numerical model considering the realistic wheel geometry.This is the first study considering the influence of rail materials,loading pressure,frictional condition,WEL geometry(a/b),and slip ratio(Sr)in the practical service conditions at the same time.The results revealed much higher residual stress in WEL than in rail matrix.Stress changes along the rail depth matched with the previously reported microstructure evolutions.The current work revealed that the maximum difference in contact stress between the wheel passages of rail matrix and the WEL region(noted as stress variation)rises with the increase of loading pressure,the value of a/b,and Sr;but drops with the friction coefficient(μ).In addition,a critical length–depth ratio of 5 for a/b has been found.The fatigue parameter,FP,of the WEL decreased quickly with the length–depth ratio when it was less than 5 and then increased slightly when it was larger than 5.This study also revealed that the fatigue life of the WEL was reduced for high strength head hardened(HH)rail compared with standard carbon(SC)rail.Qinglin LIAN Guanyu DENG Hongtao ZHU Huijun LI Xi WANG Zhiming LIU 2020Friction2020,8,6:4
4Direct Ink Writing of Highly Conductive MXene Frames for Tunable Electromagnetic Interference Shielding and Electromagnetic Wave-Induced Thermochromism显示文摘The highly integrated and miniaturized next-generation electronic products call for high-performance electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding materials to assure the normal operation of their closely assembled components.However,the most current techniques are not adequate for the fabrication of shielding materials with programmable structure and controllable shielding efficiency.Herein,we demonstrate the direct ink writing of robust and highly conductive Ti3C2Tx MXene frames with customizable structures by using MXene/AlOOH inks for tunable EMI shielding and electromagnetic wave-induced thermochromism applications.The as-printed frames are reinforced by immersing in AlCl_(3)/HCl solution to remove the electrically insulating AlOOH nanoparticles,as well as cross-link the MXene sheets and fuse the filament interfaces with aluminum ions.After freeze-drying,the resultant robust and porous MXene frames exhibit tunable EMI shielding efficiencies in the range of 25-80 dB with the highest electrical conductivity of 5323 S m−1.Furthermore,an electromagnetic wave-induced thermochromic MXene pattern is assembled by coating and curing with thermochromic polydimethylsiloxane on a printed MXene pattern,and its color can be changed from blue to red under the high-intensity electromagnetic irradiation.This work demonstrates a direct ink printing of customizable EMI frames and patterns for tuning EMI shielding efficiency and visualizing electromagnetic waves.Xinyu Wu Tingxiang Tu Yang Dai Pingping Tang Yu Zhang Zhiming Deng Lulu Li Hao-Bin Zhang Zhong-Zhen Yu 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,10:3
5Quantum engineering of non-equilibrium efficient p-doping in ultra-wide band-gap nitrides显示文摘Ultra-wide band-gap nitrides have huge potential in micro-and optoelectronics due to their tunable wide band-gap,high breakdown field and energy density,excellent chemical and thermal stability.However,their application has been severely hindered by the low p-doping efficiency,which is ascribed to the ultrahigh acceptor activation energy originated from the low valance band maximum.Here,a valance band modulation mode is proposed and a quantum engineering doping method is conducted to achieve high-efficient p-type ultra-wide band-gap nitrides,in which GaN quantum-dots are buried in nitride matrix to produce a new band edge and thus to tune the dopant activation energy.By non-equilibrium doping techniques,quantum engineering doped AIGaN:Mg with Al content of 60%is successfully fabricated.The Mg activation energy has been reduced to about 21 meV,and the hole concentration reaches higher than 10^(18)cm^(-3)at room temperature.Also,similar activation energies are obtained in AIGaN with other Al contents such as 50%and 70%;indicating the universality of the quantum engineering doping method.Moreover,deep-ultraviolet light-emission diodes are fabricated and the improved performance further demonstrates the validity and merit of the method.With the quantum material growth techniques developing,this method would be prevalently available and tremendously stimulate the promotion of ultra-wide band-gap semiconductor-based devices.Ke Jiang Xiaojuan Sun Zhiming Shi Hang Zang Jianwei Ben Hui-Xiong Deng Dabing Li 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,4:3
6Identifying human body states by using a flexible integrated sensor显示文摘Flexible sensors are required to be lightweight,compatible with the skin,sufficiently sensitive,and easily integrated to extract various kinds of body vital signs during continuous healthcare monitoring in daily life.For this,a simple and low-cost flexible temperature and force sensor that uses only two carbon fiber beams as the sensing layer is reported in this work.This simple,flexible sensor can not only monitor skin temperature changes in real time but can also extract most pulse waves,including venous waves,from most parts of the human body.A pulse diagnostic glove containing three such flexible sensors was designed to simulate pulse diagnostic methods used in traditional Chinese medicine.Wearable equipment was also designed in which four flexible sensors were fixed onto different body parts(neck,chest,armpit,and fingertip)to simultaneously monitor body temperature,carotid pulse,fingertip artery pulse,and respiratory rate.Four important physiological indicators—body temperature(BT),blood pressure(BP),heart rate(HR),and respiratory rate(RR)—were extracted by the wearable equipment and analyzed to identify exercise,excited,tired,angry,and frightened body states.Ying Jin Guoning Chen Kete Lao Songhui Li Yong Lu Yufeng Gan Zhundong Li Jiajia Hu Jingcheng Huang Jinxiu Wen Honggui Deng Min Yang Zhiming Chen Xiaoyan Hu Baowen Liang Jianyi Luo 2020npj Flexible Electronics2020,4,1:2
7miR-20b-5p attenuates hypoxia-induced apoptosis in cardiomyocytes via the HIF-1α/NF-κB pathway显示文摘Chronic hypoxia is a common inducer of end-stage cardiovascular disease.In cells under hypoxia,the hypoxia-inducible factor-1(HIF-1)plays a vital role in regulating downstream target genes.However,the mechanism of hypoxia in card io myocytes is still unclear.In this study,we aimed to identify novel downstream epigenetic targets of HIF-1α in cardiomyocytes under hypoxia.H9c2 cells were exposed to hypoxia condition,and quantitative real-time PCR analysis was performed to evaluate the expression of miR-20b-5p.The results indicated that the expression of miR-20b-5p was down-regulated in H9c2 cells under low oxygen condition.Meanwhile,HIF-1α overexpression further down-regulated the miR-20b-5p expression in H9c2 cells transfected with HIF-1α plasmids.In addition,Annexin-V-FITC/PI flow cytometry analysis suggested that overexpression of miR-20b-5p attenuated cell apoptosis under hypoxia condition in H9c2 cells.Western blot analysis showed that the hypoxia apparently increased Bax and cleaved-caspase-3,but decreased Bcl-2 expression in H9c2 cells,indicating that hypoxia-induced NF-κB signaling pathway activation is mediated by miR-20b-5p.Hypoxia-induced H9c2 cell apoptosis was reduced after HIF-1α knockdown as shown by the flow cytometry analysis.In conclusion,we identified that miR-20b-5p plays an important role in mediating cardiomyocytes apoptosis under hypoxia,which is mediated by the HIF-1/NF-κB signaling pathway.Zhongquan Zhou Songwen Chen Zhiming Tian Shibing Deng Xuying Yi Shaning Yang Xuexin Yang Lijun Jin Wanqing Shi 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,9:2
8Preferential oxidation of CO in excess H_2 over the CeO_2/CuO catalyst: Effect of initial support显示文摘Three series of CeO2/CuO samples were prepared by impregnation method and characterized by XRD, N2adsorption-desorption, temperatureprogrammed reduction(TPR), XPS and TEM techniques. In comparison with the samples prepared with CuO as initial support, the samples with Cu(OH)2as initial support have higher reducibilities and smaller relative TPR peak areas, and also larger specific surface areas at calcination temperatures of 400℃–600℃. As a result, Cu(OH)2is better than CuO as initial support for preferential oxidation of CO in excess H2(CO-PROX). The best catalytic performance was achieved on the sample calcined at 600℃ and with an atomic ratio of Ce/Cu at 40%. XPS analyses indicate that more interface linkages Ce-O-Cu could be formed when it was calcined at 600℃. 12Development and Characterization of West Nile Virus Replicon Expressing Secreted Gaussia Luciferase显示文摘We developed a Gaussia luciferase (Gluc) reporter replicon of West Nile virus (WNV) and used it to quantify viral translation and RNA replication. The advantage of the Gluc replicon is that Gaussia luciferase is secreted into the culture medium from cells transfected with Gluc replicon RNA, and the medium can be assayed directly for luciferase activity. Using a known Flavivirus inhibitor (NITD008), we demonstrated that the Gluc-WNV replicon could be used for antiviral screening. 13The Relationship between Plant Community Structure and Their Ability to Absorb and Subtract PM_(2.5)显示文摘The research aimed to study absorption and reduction of PM_(2.5)by different plant community structure,and explore which plant community can have better or best comprehensive absorption efficiency,thereby improving and optimizing urban vegetation structure,further promoting improvement of urban air quality,improving people's quality of life,and ensuring a good living environment.In this paper,the method of quadrat survey commonly used in field survey was adopted to record the height,coverage,DBH and other indicators of statistical plants,and corresponding comprehensive value was calculated through these indexes.PM_(2.5)was measured at forest edge,4 and 8 m in the forest,with three repetitions.Subtraction amount of PM_(2.5)determined at different layers was analyzed,as well as its relationship with comprehensive value of community structure.The results showed that PM_(2.5)amount decreased significantly at forest edge,4 and 8 m in the forest,and better community structure had a positive effect on PM_(2.5)absorption.The higher the comprehensive indexes of community structure such as plant height,DBH(arbor),density and coverage,the better the ability of absorbing and reducing PM_(2.5).Therefore,it must pay attention to the diversity of plant species per unit area,to build a good plant community structure,which could better improve structure of local ecosystem,and play a good role in absorbing and reducing PM_(2.5)pollutants in the atmosphere.Yuyuan HUANG Haiyang WEN Huina YANG Chengxi JIANG Hong LIANG Song MA Zhijie CHEN Zhiming YANG Lijuan HUANG Xinfan YU Long HE Suni DENG Wanmin ZHOU Shengyuan WU 2021Meteorological and Environmental Research2021,12,3:1

18Coupling framework for a wind speed forecasting model applied to wind energy显示文摘Wind energy is the burgeoning renewable energy. Accurate wind speed prediction is necessary to ensure the stability and reliability of the power grid for wind energy. This study focuses on developing a novel hybrid forecasting model to tackle adverse effects caused by strong variability and abrupt changes in wind speed. The hybrid model combines data decomposition and error correction strategy for a wind speed forecasting model applied to wind energy. First, wavelet packet decomposition is applied to wind speed series to obtain stationary subseries. Next, outlier robust extreme learning machine is implemented to predict subseries. Finally, an error correction strategy coupled with data decomposition is designed to repair preliminary prediction results. In addition, four measured datasets from China and USAwind farms with different time intervals are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed approach. Experimental analysis indicates that the proposed model outperforms the compared models. 19One step synthesis of efficient red emissive carbon dots and their bovine serum albumin composites with enhanced multi-photon fluorescence for in vivo bioimaging显示文摘Efficient red emissive carbon dots(CDs)in aqueous solutions are very scarce for high performance bioimaging applications.In this work,we report a one-step solvothermal treatment to synthesize pure red emissive CDs(FA-CDs)from citric acid and urea in formic acid without complicated purification procedures.Photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)of 43.4%was observed in their dimethyl sulfoxide solutions.High PLQY up to 21.9%in aqueous solutions was achieved in their bovine serum albumin(BSA)composites(FA-CDs@BSA)with significantly enhanced multiphoton fluorescence.The strong surface electron-withdrawing structure of FA-CDs caused by the high content of C=O groups contributes for their pure red emission.Owing to the significantly enhanced single and multi-photon red fluorescence and enlarged particle sizes after composing with BSA,in vivo tumor imaging and two-photon fluorescence imaging of blood vessels in mouse ear have been realized via intravenous injection of FA-CDs@BSA aqueous solutions.Huiqi Zhang Gang Wang Zhiming Zhang Josh Haipeng Lei Tzu-Ming Liu Guichuan Xing Chu-Xia Deng Zikang Tang Songnan Qu 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,5:0
20Direct ink writing of multifunctional gratings with gel-like MXene/norepinephrine ink for dynamic electromagnetic interference shielding and patterned Joule heating显示文摘Intelligent electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding modulators with a wide tuning range and cyclic stability are urgently needed but their fabrication remains challenging.A gel-like MXene/norepinephrine ink is developed and multifunctional MXene gratings with wide EMI shielding effectiveness(SE)tuning range,superior reversibility,and high mechanical flexibility are constructed by direct ink writing approach for dynamic EMI shielding and patterned Joule heating applications.The modulable MXene/norepinephrine grating with a high conductivity of 3510 S·cm-1 can conveniently realize the seamless modulation of the EMI SE by adjusting the angle between the MXene grating filaments and the electric field of the incident electromagnetic waves,offering highly reversible switching between shielding“On”(28.0 dB)and“Off”(0.5 dB)states.Notably,due to the optimized integration of the MXene ink and the rationally designed pattern,a superior specific EMI SE of 95,688.2 dB·cm^(2)·g^(-1) is achieved in the“On”state.Furthermore,the MXene/norepinephrine ink can be used to fabricate many complex patterned gratings with superior stability,instant responsibility,and superb mechanical flexibility,exhibiting a unique patterned Joule heating behavior.Direct writing of multifunctional gratings paves a means for developing intelligent EMI shielding materials,wearable electronic devices,and advanced thermal management materials.Pei-Zhu Jiang Zhiming Deng Peng Min Lvxuan Ye Cheng-Zhang Qi Hao-Yu Zhao Ji Liu Hao-Bin Zhang Zhong-Zhen Yu 2024Nano Research2024,17,3:0
