| 1 | IMPROVED SINGULAR VALUE DECOMPOSITION TECHNIQUE FOR DETECTING AND EXTRACTING PERIODIC IMPULSE COMPONENT IN A VIBRATION SIGNAL显示文摘Vibration acceleration signals are often measured from case surface of a running machine to monitor its condition. If the measured vibration signals display to have periodic impulse components with a certain frequency, there may exist a corresponding local fault in the machine, and if further extracting the periodic impulse components from the vibration signals, the severity of the local fault can be estimated and tracked. However, the signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) of the vibration acceleration signals are often so small that the periodic impulse components are submersed in much background noises and other components, and it is difficult or inconvenient for us to detect and extract the periodic impulse components with the current common analyzing methods for vibration signals. Therefore, another technique, called singular value decomposition (SVD), is tried to be introduced to solve the problem. First, the principle of detecting and extracting the signal periodic components using singular value decomposition is summarized and discussed. Second, the infeasibility of the direct use of the existing SVD based detecting and extracting approach is pointed out. Third, the approach to construct the matrix for SVD from the signal series is improved largely, which is the key program to improve the SVD technique; Other associated improvement is also proposed. | 3 | Assessing the Dynamics of Grassland Net Primary Productivity in Response to Climate Change at the Global Scale显示文摘Understanding the net primary productivity(NPP) of grassland is crucial to evaluate the terrestrial carbon cycle. In this study, we investigated the spatial distribution and the area of global grassland across the globe. Then, we used the Carnegie-Ames-Stanford Approach(CASA) model to estimate global grassland NPP and explore the spatio-temporal variations of grassland NPP in response to climate change from 1982 to 2008. Results showed that the largest area of grassland distribution during the study period was in Asia(1737.23 × 104 km^2), while the grassland area in Europe was relatively small(202.83 × 10~4 km^2). Temporally, the total NPP increased with fluctuations from 1982 to 2008, with an annual increase rate of 0.03 Pg C/yr. The total NPP experienced a significant increasing trend from 1982 to 1995, while a decreasing trend was observed from 1996 to 2008. Spatially, the grassland NPP in South America and Africa were higher than the other regions, largely as a result of these regions are under warm and wet climatic conditions. The highest mean NPP was recorded for savannas(560.10 g C/(m^2·yr)), whereas the lowest was observed in open shrublands with an average NPP of 162.53 g C/(m^2·yr). | 6 | Footprint Problem with Angle of Attack Optimization for High Lifting Reentry Vehicle显示文摘A formal analysis to footprint problem with effects of angle of attack (AOA) is presented. First a flexible and rapid standardized method for footprint generation is developed. Zero bank angle control strategy and the maximum crossrange method are used to obtain virtual target set; afterward, closed-loop bank angle guidance law is used to find footprint by solving closest approach problem for each element in virtual target set. Then based on quasi-equilibrium glide condition, the typical inequality reentry trajectory constraints are converted to angle of attack lower boundary constraint. Constrained by the lower boundary, an original and practical angle of attack parametric method is proposed. By using parametric angle of attack profile, optimization algorithm for angle of attack is designed and the impact of angle of attack to footprint is discussed. | 7 | A microporous surface containing Si3N4/Ta microparticles of PEKK exhibits both antibacterial and osteogenic activity for inducing cellular response and improving osseointegration显示文摘As an implantable biomaterial,polyetherketoneketone(PEKK)exhibits good mechanical strength but it is biologically inert while tantalum(Ta)possesses outstanding osteogenic bioactivity but has a high density and elastic modulus.Also,silicon nitride(SN)has osteogenic and antibacterial activity.In this study,a microporous surface containing both SN and Ta microparticles on PEKK(STP)exhibiting excellent osteogenic and antibacterial activity was created by sulfonation.Compared with sulfonated PEKK(SPK)without microparticles,the surface properties(roughness,surface energy,hydrophilicity and protein adsorption)of STP significantly increased due to the SN and Ta particles presence on the microporous surface.In addition,STP also exhibited outstanding antibacterial activity,which inhibited bacterial growth in vitro and prevented bacterial infection in vivo because of the presence of SN particles.Moreover,the microporous surface of STP containing both SN and Ta particles remarkably induced response(e.g.,proliferation and differentiation)of rat bone mesenchymal stem(rBMS)cells in vitro.Furthermore,STP significantly improved new bone regeneration and osseointegration in vivo.Regarding the induction of cellular response in vitro and improvement of osseointegration in vivo,the microporous surface containing Ta was better than the surface with SN particles.In conclusion,STP with optimized surface properties activated cellular responses in vitro,enhanced osseointegration and prevented infection in vivo.Therefore,STP possessed the dual biofunctions of excellent osteogenic and antibacterial activity,showing great potential as a bone substitute. | Xinglong Hu Shiqi Mei Fan Wang Songchao Tang Dong Xie Chao Ding Wenli Du Jun Zhao Lili Yang Zhaoying Wu Jie Wei | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,10: | 6 |

The epitaxial relationship has been confirmed to be [010]( 2ˉ01) β-Ga_2O_3||[ 011ˉ0](0001)Al_2O_3 via in-situ reflection high energy electron diffraction(RHEED) monitoring and ex-situ X-ray diffraction(XRD) measurement. Crystalline quality is improved and surface becomes flatter with increasing growth temperature, with a best full width at half maximum(FWHM) of XRD ω-rocking curve of( 2ˉ01) plane and root mean square(RMS) roughness of 0.68° and 2.04 nm for the sample grown at 730 °C,respectively. | 10 | The Escherichia coli O157:H7 DNA detection on a gold nanoparticle-enhanced piezoelectric biosensor显示文摘This paper presents development of a quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) biosensor for real-time de- tection of E. coli O157:H7 DNA based on nanogold particles amplification. Many inner Au nanoparticles were immobilized onto the thioled surface of the Au electrode, then more specific thiolated sin- gle-stranded DNA (ssDNA) probes could be fixed through Au-SH bonding. The hybridization was in- duced by exposing the ssDNA probe to the complementary target DNA of E. coli O157:H7 gene eaeA, then resulted in a mass change and corresponding frequency shifts ( △f ) of the QCM. The outer avidin-coated Au nanoparticles could combine with the target DNA to increase the mass. The electro- chemical techniques, cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) were adopted to manifest and character each step. The target DNA corresponding to 2.0×103 colony forming unit (CFU)/mL E. coli O157:H7 cells can be detected by this biosensor, so it is practical to develop a sensitive and effective QCM biosensor for pathogenic bacteria detection based on specific DNA analy- sis. | 13 | TLR9 agonist enhances radiofrequency ablation-induced CTL responses, leading to the potent inhibition of primary tumor growth and lung metastasis显示文摘Radiofrequency ablation(RFA)is the most common approach to thermal ablation for cancer therapy.Unfortunately,its efficacy is limited by incomplete ablation,and further optimization of RFA is required.Here,we demonstrate that incubation at 65°C triggers more EG7 tumor cell death by necrosis than treatment at 45°C,and the 65°C-treated cells are more effective at inducing antigen-specific CD8^(+)cytotoxic T lymphocyte(CTL)responses after injection in mice than the 45°C-treated ones.Dendritic cells(DCs)that phagocytose 65°C-treated EG7 cells become mature with upregulated MHCII and CD80 expression and are capable of efficiently inducing effector CTLs in mouse tumor models.RFA(65°C)therapy of EG7 tumors induces large areas of tumor necrosis and stimulates CTL responses.This leads to complete regression of small(~100 mm^(3))tumors but fails to suppress the growth of larger(~350 mm^(3))tumors.The administration of the Toll-like receptor-9(TLR9)agonist unmethylated cytosine-phosphorothioate-guanine oligonucleotide(CpG)to DCs phagocytosing 65°C-treated EG7 cells enhances the expression of MHCII and CD40 on DCs as well as DC-induced stimulation of CTL responses.Importantly,the intratumoral administration of CpG following RFA also increases the frequencies of tumor-associated immunogenic CD11b−CD11c^(+)CD103^(+)DC2 and CD11b+F4/80+MHCII+M1 macrophages and increases CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)T-cell tumor infiltration,leading to enhanced CD4^(+)T cell-dependent CTL responses and potent inhibition of primary RFA-treated or distant untreated tumor growth as well as tumor lung metastasis in mice bearing larger tumors.Overall,our data indicate that CpG administration,which enhances RFA-induced CTL responses and ultimately potentiates the inhibition of primary tumor growth and lung metastasis,is a promising strategy for improving RFA treatment,which may assist in optimizing this important cancer therapy. | Aizhang Xu Lifeng Zhang Jingying Yuan Fatma Babikr Andrew Freywald Rajni Chibbar Michael Moser Wenjun Zhang Bing Zhang Zhaoying Fu Jim Xiang | 2019 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2019,16,10: | 3 |

| 15 | The composition and distribution of metal clusters in the MoFe protein from a nifZ deletion strain(DJ 194)of Azotobacter vinelandii显示文摘Through the anaerobic chromatography on the columns of DEAE 52, Q-Sepharose and Sephacryl S-200, a nitrogenase MoFe protein (?nifZ Av1) was obtained from a nifZ deleted mutant of Azotobacter vinelandii (stain DJ194). The results of Western blotting after anoxic native electro-phoresis and SDS-PAGE showed that ?nifZ Av1 was similar to wild type MoFe protein (OP Av1) at the electrophoretic mobility, molecular weight and subunit composition. Fur-thermore, ?nifZ Av1 was also similar to OP Av1 at the mo-lybdenum content, EPR signal (g≈4.3, 3.65 and 2.01), and the molar extinction coefficient (?ε) of circular dichroism (CD) at 660 nm region. All of these indicated that, besides having the same α2β2 composition as OP Av1, the ?nifZ Av1 also contained equal amount of reductive FeMoco in the spin state of S=3/2 to OP Av1. However, the iron content and sub-strate (C2H2, H+ and N2)-reduction activity of ?nifZ Av1 were 74% and 46%―50% of those of OP Av1, respectively. Fur-thermore, the ?ε at around 450 nm, which reflects P-cluster in Av1, was obviously lower than that of OP Av1. It suggested that the difference between ?nifZ Av1 and OP Av1 resulted from P-cluster rather than FeMoco, and from the half num-ber of P-cluster in ?nifZ Av1, but the composition or redox state of P-cluster in ?nifZ Av1 were not changed. Thus it could propose that ?nifZ Av1 is composed of two different αβ subunit pairs. One is a FeMoco- and P-cluster-containing pair, and the other is a P-cluster-deficient but FeMoco-con- taining pair. | 20 | N/Ce doped graphene supported Pt nanoparticles for the catalytic oxidation of formaldehyde at room temperature显示文摘Pt catalysts with nitrogen-doped graphene oxide (GO) as support and CeO_(2)as promoter were prepared by impregnation method,and their catalytic oxidation of formaldehyde (HCHO) at room temperature was tested.The Pt-CeO_(2)/N-rGO (reduced GO) with a mass fraction of 0.7% Pt and 0.8%CeO_(2)exhibited an excellent catalytic performance with the 100% conversion of HCHO at room temperature.Physicochemical characterization demonstrated that nitrogendoping greatly increased the defect degree and the specific surface area of GO,enhanced the dispersion of Pt and promoted more zero-valent Pt.The synergistic effect between CeO_(2)and Pt was also beneficial to the dispersion of Pt.Nitrogen-doping promoted the production of more Ce3+ions,generating more oxygen vacancies,which was conducive to O_(2)adsorption.As a result,the catalyst exhibited enhanced redox properties,leading to the best catalytic activity.Finally,an attempt to propose the reaction mechanism of HCHO oxidation has been made. | Yaodong Guo Zhaoying Di Xiaonan Guo Ying Wei Runduo Zhang Jingbo Jia | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,3: | 2 |
