| 1 | Efficacy and safety of pegylated-interferon α-2a in hemodialysis patients with chronic hepatitis C显示文摘AIM: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of pegylated-interferon alpha-2a in hemodialysis patients with chronichepatitis C.METHODS: Thirty-six hemodialysis patients with chronichepatitis C were enrolled in a controlled and prospectivestudy. All patients were treatment naive, positivetested for anti-HCV antibodies, and positive tested forserum HCV-RNA. Twenty-two patients received 135 μgpeglyated-interferon a-2a weekly for 48 wk (group A).The remaining patients were left untreated, elevenrefused therapy, and three were not candidates forkidney transplantation and were allocated to the controlgroup (group B). At the end of the treatment biochemicaland virological response was evaluated, and 24 wk aftercompletetion of therapy sustained virological response(SVR) was assessed. Side effects were monitored.RESULTS: Of 22 hemodialysis patients, 12 were maleand 10 female, with a mean age of 35.2 ± 12.1 years.Virological end-of-treatment response was observed in14 patients (82.4%) in group A and in one patient (7.1%)in group B (P = 0.001). Sustained virological responsewas observed in 11 patients (64.7%) in group A and inone patient in group B (7.1%). Biochemical responseparameters normalized in 10/14 patients (71.4%) at theend of the treatment. ALT levels in group B were initiallyhigh in six patients and normalized in one of them (25%)at the end of the 48 wk. In five patients (22.7%) therapyhad to be stopped at mo 4 due to complications ofweakness, anemia, and bleeding.CONCLUSION: SVR could be achieved in 64.7% ofpatients on hemodialysis with chronic hepatitis C by atreatment with peglyated-interferon a-2a. | 2 | Cretaceous source rocks and associated oil and gas resources in the world and China: A review显示文摘The Cretaceous is one of the most important stratigraphic intervals for hydrocarbon source rocks. This article summarizes the distribution, formation, and development characteristics of Cretaceous source rocks and associated oil and gas resources in the world and China, aiming at improving the understanding of this hydrocarbon enrichment and at broadening domestic exploration. Outside China, these rocks are generally formed in marine or transgressive environments during both the Upper and Lower Cretaceous. The majority of Cretaceous source rocks are located in the Persian Gulf, Mediterranean, and Gulf Coast of the USA. Kerogen types within these source rocks have distinct spatial distribution characteristics, with high-latitude Boreal Realm, Tethyan Realm and South Gondwana Realm source rocks containing type III, II, II-III kerogens, respectively. Cretaceous source rocks in China can be mainly divided into four zones: Eastern, Central, Northwest, and Qinghai–Tibet Plateau zones. The majority of Chinese source rocks formed in the Early Cretaceous, whereas the most productive source rocks are developed in the Upper Cretaceous, such as those within the Songliao Basin. Most of these basins are formed in lacustrine environments, although some may have been influenced by transgressive events. Cretaceous source rocks are formed in four distinctive ways: 1) during Oceanic Anoxic Events and associated global sea-level rises, 2) in Black Sea–type retention basins, 3) during transgression and 4) during periods of significant terrestrial input. Formation of these source rocks is controlled by four factors: paleoclimate, paleotopography, transgression, and Oceanic Anoxic Events. | 3 | Deep learning-enabled triboelectric smart socks for IoT-based gait analysis and VR applications显示文摘The era of artificial intelligence and internet of things is rapidly developed by recent advances in wearable electronics.Gait reveals sensory information in daily life containing personal information,regarding identification and healthcare.Current wearable electronics of gait analysis are mainly limited by high fabrication cost,operation energy consumption,or inferior analysis methods,which barely involve machine learning or implement nonoptimal models that require massive datasets for training.Herein,we developed low-cost triboelectric intelligent socks for harvesting waste energy from low-frequency body motions to transmit wireless sensory data.The sock equipped with self-powered functionality also can be used as wearable sensors to deliver information,regarding the identity,health status,and activity of the users.To further address the issue of ineffective analysis methods,an optimized deep learning model with an end-to-end structure on the socks signals for the gait analysis is proposed,which produces a 93.54%identification accuracy of 13 participants and detects five different human activities with 96.67%accuracy.Toward practical application,we map the physical signals collected through the socks in the virtual space to establish a digital human system for sports monitoring,healthcare,identification,and future smart home applications. | Zixuan Zhang Tianyiyi He Minglu Zhu Zhongda Sun Qiongfeng Shi Jianxiong Zhu Bowei Dong Mehmet Rasit Yuce Chengkuo Lee | 2020 | npj Flexible Electronics2020，4，1： | 4 |
